In all seriousness though, this probably is what the Japanese box art is gonna look like, if the previous FF's Japanese box arts are any indication. 

 

I am vaguely curious as to what the box art is gonna look like for the American/European version though. Of course, I'm just a sucker for good box art!

Okay... you missed the point of my original train of thought then. I wanted to discuss what people would want it to look like, not get a picture of some placeholder art.

That's true, but you're still missing the point of my original statement. what I wanted to discuss was what the cover with different artwork would look like. Like, I don't really care what the logo-only boxes look like. I was curious as to what other people wanted the normal box art to look like. Do you see what I'm saying?

I'm guessing it's just going to show Noctis on the cover with a sword in his hand similar to FFXIII's first game.

Yes, a lot of the time you'll find there's two versions of the cover available. One that's the logo, and one with artwork.
