Is Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Worth $30.00?

Posted

So I'll be getting my copy of MGSV: Ground Zeroes but I'm not sure if I should buy it at $30.00 since I heard it's really short, especially when you speedrun it (It's been confirmed to take 10 minutes if you speedrun it). Or just wait for a price drop or it to be bundled with Phantom Pain when it comes out. And I'm a HUGE fan of the Metal Gear Solid series as well as I have played every Metal Gear game that has ever come out. So do you think it's worth the price that it's at now? Or should I just wait on a price drop or some sort of bundle that comes with PP?

Fool. Well if you're a huge fan, support the game and buy it now.

$30 is fricken nothing, surely the game is worth at least that.

For 1 hour of gameplay, heck no. I'd just wait for it to be bundled with the other one.

Yeah, for us. We pay $80 for new release games. Haha.

The game is short but can be played in many ways and the side ops can be played in many ways too. If you like completing games 100% then this game will occupy you for a long time. I hate how people are acting like the game has a 60$ price tag.

MGS2 and 3 didn't have their prequel chapters released as stand-alone games. That's all I'm saying.

I paid $20 for it, and I feel like I paid too much. It's basically a demo that you're paying for.

I hope people realize all the other games are only, at the maximum, two hours long while skipping the cutscenes.

I haven't beaten Metal Gear Solid 4 or Peace Walker yet, so I can't really tell you since I'm not gonna buy it for now...

...which makes this comment kinda pointless.

It's 2 hours to get through the main campaign. But it also has immense replay value, you can experiment and find different ways through it. It's apparently got side quests. I believe it's open world.

So it's 2 hours if you're rushing through it, with a lot more to it if you're actually slowing down to take it in.

Finish peace walker and youllbe fine

For a game that short? No. This is just my personal opinion and probably won't help you, but here games cost way more, so i'd feel more enclined to get it on steam on sale, or in a bundle. Better value that way
