April 29, 201412 yr Depends on how the game utilize....some games can make motion controls really fun like Warioware Smooth Moves and some other Wii games l Though there is a catch for me to like motion controls....I have to hold something in my hand...which is why I'm absolutely fine with the PS Move and the Wii Remote.....I can't stand the kinect at all, wanna know why?Type Sonic Free Riders on youtube to see why
April 29, 201412 yr Its alright as long as it isn't centered around motion, like the Wii. Time has proven motion control was clearly not the future.
April 29, 201412 yr Depends on what game it's used with and how. With No more Heroes or Epic Mickey I love it.

April 29, 201412 yr Man I really love No More Heroes 1&2.....they should make a sequel I honestly likes NMH 2 more, the open world in the first game just wasn't very good imo.
April 29, 201412 yr I honestly likes NMH 2 more, the open world in the first game just wasn't very good imo. I like NMH2 better too if only because the boss battles are much more fun this time(except the final boss f*** him to hell).....I didn't mind the open world aspect of 1...it's just the chores you have to do to get money for the next mission that was annoying
April 29, 201412 yr Depends on how they are used and how well they work. Example: Sonic Colors: Good Sonic and the Secret Rings: Bad
April 29, 201412 yr Depends on how they are used and how well they work. Example: Sonic Colors: Good Sonic and the Secret Rings: Bad Sonic Colors didn't have motion controls at all, aside from shaking the Wii remote to activate the wisps in case you're not using the GameCube controller
April 29, 201412 yr Sonic Colors didn't have motion controls at all, aside from shaking the Wii remote to activate the wisps in case you're not using the GameCube controller At least they knew how to use it properly.
April 29, 201412 yr At least they knew how to use it properly. They didn't use it at all dude...what they did could've been done by pressing any button. There are other games that used the Wii Remote in a very good way like the Red Steel games,NMH games,Warioware Smoothmoves and the Mario Galaxy
April 29, 201412 yr It's something I feel has a lot of potential, but has never been used as well as it could be. Mostly, the primary use of the motion controls has been party games, and I think they could be applied to more one player games. Not necessarilly just as the usual sword waving, such as in Skyward Sword, but even in more subtle ways. Granted, I can't think of any immediately off the top of my head, but I'm sure there are ways.
April 29, 201412 yr I don't like motion controls,I prefer using regular controllers, but I don't hate them like some people do.I didn't mind them in Donkey Kong Country Return or Super Mario Galaxy even though it was unnecessary. The only game that I really enjoyed motion controls was in Skyward Sword. When I first heard about the Wiimote and motion controls THAT'S what I was expecting from the start.
April 29, 201412 yr To me the motion controls in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is awesome. Edited April 29, 201412 yr by Zeldablade7
April 29, 201412 yr Depends on the game. The only game I liked that focused on motion controls was Skyward Sword, since it actually felt the way it should have in that one. I felt like Super Mario Galaxy implemented them well, also, even though it barely used them.
April 30, 201412 yr They didn't use it at all dude...what they did could've been done by pressing any button. There are other games that used the Wii Remote in a very good way like the Red Steel games,NMH games,Warioware Smoothmoves and the Mario Galaxy Look, I don't desire much motion control from Sonic games, just flicking the remote to activate a power is enough for me. I rather not have to pull my remote back like I'm reigning in a horse just to play a Sonic game. Beyond those titles, Sonic didn't have any other presence on the Wii. And I don't think we have to bring up the shoe-horned motion controls in Lost World prior to the updates. Of course Mario Galaxy used those controls well, it's a Mario game, Nintendo tends to try to push it's best into Mario games when it comes to controls.
What are your thoughts on motion controllers?
