I doubt Nintendo have plans for a new handheld for the same reasons as a new console plus the 3DS is doing even better then the Wii U,so why bother making a new console, that wouldn't make sense. But maybe its something different that still plays 3DS games like the 2DS,but don't expect a more powerful handheld already, its way too soon.

To tell the truth I think that they'll announce games on e3 like ZeldaU and the new smash brothers.

I'm pretty sure Zelda Wii U will be shown at E3,with a 2015 release date announcement

It's a possibility that a new console may come out, but nothing is confirmed.  A patent is different than an official notice that a new console will be released.  Also, I feel that the video was entirely uncalled for, since there was nothing wrong with others stating their opinion on whether they believe a new Nintendo console will be released or not.  Everyone should respect each others' opinions on the matter.

The new console thing was in the html coding of the web page

Yes I read about that but in the same source code was also "wii at e3" and the wii is not supported anymore. Also before the WiiU was released they refered to it as "new nintendo console" so it could be an old source code from the wii U OR more likely a fake. But i forgot about the source if i find it (in english) i will post it. Also why should they release a new handheld when the 3DS is well-supported.

The Wii U and 3/2DS are still pretty new and if Nintendo is indeed making a new console, then it will take some years before we see anything from it, trust me, you don't make a console in just one year. And you should not believe everything you see/read on the internet before Nintendo has confirmed anything. Oh yeah, and you really need to learn the difference between rumor and confirmed. And if Nintendo is planning on releasing a new console this year, then that would be a pretty dumb move, since I doubt many people will buy it when they maybe just bought a Wii u or a 3/2DS.

Really?  The Wii U just came out.

Nope. Nintendo slammed the rumours.

Proof?

Forgo where I saw it. Just Google it. It doesn't confirm anything though because this has happened previously when there wasn't a new console.

Oho. You think I'm just gonna give up my time on something I don't believe happened to research it. Unless you can prove it to me, I ain't doing nothing because there is no reason to. The myth was debunked today, anyway.

The 3DS is still recent, and it's getting amazing games right now, so I'm guessing Nintendo will continue to bank more games for the 3DS for a considerable amount of years.  And as for the Wii U, it can be saved if new games are released that potentially boost sales for the console, like Super Smash Bros. and the inevitable Zelda title. But I highly doubt that Nintendo will release a new console so soon.  It's just too soon to do so. X_X

I mean a quick Google search wouldn't have killed you, but like I said its happened before.

Where is your proof?
