Mario Kart 8 runs at 1080p and 60 fps even in multiplayer and that was officialy confirmed by the development team

Just making sure. But good for you that you bought a Wii U, I will buy them when I am done catching up on 7th gen games.

Do yourself a favor and get Super Mario World and Tropical Freeze. They are both amazing. Hell, pretty much any game really. I've enjoyed the hell out of every game on it so far. (cept the demo for the new sonic game...) But yeah. It's a great system. Also, the gamepad is comfortable as hell. 

The Wii U is indeed a great system

And things will get even better with Smash 4,Mario Kart 8 and this year's E3

Those might be the two best platformers I've ever played, they're that good (Although I'm only at world 2 for Tropical Freeze... I can only play that one when it's co-op with my brother).

I bought a Wii U a while ago and no matter what game I get all it does is collect dust and never gets touched. 

Honestly, if I had the money (and room) for a Wii U, I'd buy it in a heartbeat, but for now, my PS4 shall suffice me.
