Items you get for ordering the Premium/Treasure Box Editions. Triforce Clock comes in both, but the scarf is limited to the box. What's neat is the alarm on the clock and the Treasure Box actually has the jingle for it.

Of course, these are Japan exclusive items at the moment, hopefully we get word of similar treatment for the Western releases.

Honestly, that Pin is good enough. We're not even entitled to get anything for preordering any game, and yet the devs give us stuff. They're thankful for the support, even if their fanbase is a shoddy group. Besides there are different branches of many companies in every region, and just like the government's supposed to be, not one branch can have control over another.

Hence why some games (or preorder gifts) never get localized outside of their original region.

Shiek's Gameplay

It's pretty neat considering the use of her Lyre in combat. Bolero of Fire, creates a magic circle with fire. Song of Storms, a barrier of clouds circles around you and damages opponents. Prelude of Light, form a giant square of sacred light.

I was extremely skeptical at first, but it actually looks amazing. Bummer they're only using three Zelda time lines for the stages though - imagine how great a Wind Waker and Link to the Past stage would look.

I'll be honest, I'm a bit annoyed that after E3, all that we're getting Direct-wise is one that focuses on just a single game. : We've had a lot of Hyrule Warriors announcements lately, does it really need a Direct, too? Don't get me wrong, the game looks great, but I don't think it needs its own Direct.

Gameplay of Link and Zelda's alt costumes:

Yeah, but they did mention some sort of Online mode, they also noted Miiverse, but that was expected.

Lana with Deku Stick Gameplay

This is the reason Lana is now my most anticipated character.

According to the English trailer, it's a Spear. No mention of Deku Stick in it, but we all know it's that and not a Spear.

Here's the Ganondorf Gameplay if that all you care to hear about. Though they did reveal the Summoning Gate as a weapon for Lana

PLEASE NO SKYWARD SWORD TROLL NINTENDO!!!!!!!!!! >:(

I'll be honest, this direct was kinda... eh. There was a lot of cool things shown, but I was hoping for more new information. Most of it was stuff we've seen before, if we followed the pictures and trailers. The best part was the bit about cuccos, and Lana being able to summon a giant one. xD She's been my favorite character so far, and now that's been solidified.

If they spoil the entire game in a direct, that would ruin the experience a bit, they have to keep some stuff hidden

I know, but there's got to be a lot more than what they've shown us so far. I was hoping for at least two new characters, since I've heard the Dynasty Warriors games typically have 80+ characters. We've barely seen any characters so far.

That's one thing that concerned me for a while as well,it doesn't seem like Hyrule Warriors will have that many playable characters, but I think Aonuma said that he was amazed by the number of playable characters.I guess we'll have to wait and see,the game is coming out next week in Japan I believe.

The direct was mostly pointed towards those that didn't know much about Hyrule Warriors. It did bring forth Adventure Mode details, the Summoning Gate as a weapon for Lana, and it confirmed the villains to be playable (which was expected). The disappointing part: other than the Club Nintendo DLC, the DLC is retailer exclusive, meaning you've gotta choose, OoT, TP, or SS as you outfits and know which store has that pack. This can be resolved by having a limited edition with all of it though.

Well, there're many characters still hiding within. The thing that confused me is that they used the word "mainly" when describing that the playable characters are being pulled from OoT, TP, and SS. I know we've got the HW incarnations and Lana, but it sounds different than what I'm seeing. I'm not gonna put hopes too highwith this though.

The Final Stage has been leaked! I'll put it in spoilers for those of you who dun want it spoiled, but it's a Warriors game at heart, so I spoiled it for myself.

There seems to be a lot of talk about how some of Link's designs in the artbook look like they're meant to show a female Link. Nintendo just loves teasing fans about that this generation. :P

No, there is a whole design specifically made for a female Link. Obviously they didn't go through.

Hyrule Warriors (Zelda Musuo in Japan) receiving new game mode through bug fix patch. It's only been one week, seems the whole Mode expansion and long-term support's off to an early start.

They already confirmed that the long-term support was through new characters, modes, and other DLC.

We'll get the most updated version at the time of the English release (more so, we'll have to download and install the update before we can play it).

New patch launches September 1st. The patch fixes bugs such as no music being played on the gamepad in off-tv mode, the game blacking out during the victory screen, and more. It also adds in a new Challenge Mode, a new Sword and Shield for Link (as seen above), and even adds a background music selection screen so you can choose what plays during the battle.

Edited by MythrilMagician

This 8-bit sword and shield make my wish that they'd recreate the original Zelda Overworld map in 3D with ''8-bit'' graphics(similar to Minecraft I guess) as DLC someday, that would be awesome.

New Patch makes one Bug take a turn for the worst, in the best way possible:

Posted Image

Yes, that's right, Lana is wielding the Master Sword. Before the patch, there was a bug that allowed players to equip other characters weapons to those they didn't belong to. Though that is usually a common feature in Dynasty Warriors, it apparently isn't usable in Hyrule Warriors. With this, however, they continued using their own movesets even though they weren't using the right weapon. The patch has fixed that part of the problem. You can now dance around with the Book of Sorcery as Link, or dual wield Great Swords as Agitha. You may believe this to be the fix, but Darunia being the size he is while using Midna's moveset completely corrupts his model.

So the Link amiibo has been confirmed to be supported by Hyrule Warriors. I wonder what they'll do in Hyrule Warriors.

Twilight Princess Pack releases next week. New character revealed to be the Twilight Princess' True Form: Twili Midna.

I've never been a fan of TP or Midna, but getting a great look at her abilities in her true form sounds like a good idea. Twili Midna fights using the Mirror of Twilight.

Its nice that she's playable and all,but she should have been a new weapon for Midna like the Great Fairy and Epona are considered to be weapons for Link.I was hoping someone else for TP would be playable along with Midna's true form, but to be fair I can't think of any other interesting character from Twilight Princess I'd want to be playable so badly,so I guess it doesn't really matter :)

And it doesn't seem like we are getting any new stage from Twilight Princess which is disappointing,I hope that doesn't mean that the Majora's Mask DLC won't get any new stage either from Termina, that'd be VERY disappointing.

Well there isn't a new scenario for TP DLC. There is a new scenario set for the MM DLC, plus two new characters, and adventure map.

Hyrule Warriors has shipped one million units worldwide. Back in October it was exceeding sales expectations and today, Koei Techmo celebrates one million units sold. Hyrule Warriors has become KT's fastest selling Warriors title. There is no doubt they'll be revisiting Hyrule one day in the near future. They may also work on a different Nintendo series with their next Warriors title, having expressed the want to work on Mario or Pokemon as well.
