This looks like it will be an absolutely fantastic RP! I can't believe you can come up with these things, MDS.

I have actually decided to use a different character than the one I mentioned earlier. This one is based off of the game Transistor.

Name: Ferro Nonkendas (naturally, a Ferro)

Magic Ability: Ferro is in possession of three sentient, magical artifacts.

The first is a shield named Chips. In the center of it is a red, glassy, circular disk which acts as Chips's eye. The rest of the shield is made up of overlapping plates of white metal. The plates can shift around to change the area the shield protects, as well as completely detach from the shield and fly around close to Ferro. There is one central, larger plate that is always attached to the eye (and is the part that Ferro holds). Blasts of white-hot energy can be projected from the central eye.

The second artifact consists of a short grey staff with a white blade on each end. At the base of each blade is imbedded an eye just like the one in the shield, although smaller. The artifact's name is Birgitte. The magical abilities of this weapon are that the blades heat up in combat and it will return to Ferro's hand when cast.

The last artifact is a crossbow named Vell. The crossbow is made of the same white metal as the other two artifacts. It loads automagically and fires bolts of white-hot flame semi-automatically. It has a scope that floats above the main body. There are four of the red eyes spaced evenly around the scope.

Backstory: Ferro left Teragren a long time ago when his mother died. She was the only family he had left, and he could not bear to remain with other people after her death. He travelled for many years in the wilderness of the world. It was out there he found the only three people he knows: Chips, Birgitte, and Vell. It was simple coincidence that took his wanderings into the path of the climbers. (Ferro actually doesn't know about the mission to end the Kamyn. The first people he meets once the RP starts will be the first contact he has with the whole expedition. Be prepared to do some explaining to him.)

Appearance: Ferro is of medium height and build, with brown eyes and short brown hair. He has a baritone voice, and likes to sing (it was one way he passed the time in his wanderings). He wears plates of that white metal a few places on his body (Not a full suit. Ferro has hypothesized that a fourth artifact used to exist, a suit of armor, and these pieces might be the remnants of it. The other three artifacts do not know, however, as they had lain dormant since their creation until he found them.) Beneath the plates are worn but well-cared-for traveller's clothes. Ferro does not carry food or water; he has learned to hunt and forage, as well as become hardened to hunger, thirst, and the elements.

Name: Jasper Summers

 

Magic Ability: Has six different tattoos of weapons and equipment on his arms. By focusing and touching one, he can summon that magical item. He can unsummon that item at any time, and can only use one at a time. The items that he can summon are as follows

 

Blighter- A longsword that's stronger, sharper, and lighter than any longsword made without magic. Jasper's weapon of choice.

 

Silver Serpent- An eight foot, bladed, silver whip that he can control with his mind, but he must be holding it.

 

Long Shot- A scarlet metal crossbow with a rectangular compartment where one would normally place the arrows. It has surprising accuracy, and after the arrow is fired, Jasper simply has to press a button for the arrow to teleport back into the compartment. The arrow is practically indestructible.

 

Recompense- A staff that can heal and strengthen others. The more he cares for that person, the more effective it will be. Doesn't do anything to people he dislikes.

 

Pulse Boots- A pair of boots that fire an energy pulse allowing him to shoot upward, like a mega jump. Once in the air, he can either use another pulse to reach even higher places, or a much more gentle pulse that slows him down shortly before he reaches the ground, giving him a safe landing. However, he can only use one without touching a solid object, so he usually uses the gentle pulse.

 

Explosion Gauntlet- A gauntlet that triggers a powerful explosion when Jasper slams it into the ground. It's by far his most powerful weapon, but it causes substantial damage to himself, as well as everyone and everything around him. Because of this, he's never used it.

 

Backstory: Jasper Wintergreen was the son of a brilliant magic user who was famous for enchanting weapons. One day, his apprentice decided that he wanted the credit for all his creations he was soon to unveil, so he framed Mr. Wintergreen as a psychopath who had engineered his new magical creations to kill on his command, and only he knew how to disarm them. The people believed the apprentice, causing Mr. Wintergreen to flee for his life, along with six of his most prized creations and his only son, Jasper. Knowing that his son would always have to be on the run if he stayed with him, Mr. Wintergreen left him with an old friend and ran away, keeping his pursuers on him and away from his son. He was captured and executed two weeks later. However, before he left his son, he enacted a plan to save his inventions, too. Using the little known art on ink magic, he turned his six enchanted objects into tattoos on his son's arms, hoping that Jasper would use them to help others some day. Since his parting with his father, Jasper changed his last name to avoid people realizing he was the son of Mr. Wintergreen, causing them to be suspicious of him. He chose the name Summers, the opposite of winter, because he realized his life was now completely than what is was before. Now a young man, Jasper hopes to make use of them in the quest to defeat the Kamyn.

Sorry, I'm not much of a magic year though. Probably why I almost never use Mage's. I wanted to include a version of The Ten Commandments sword from Rave Master in my powers list, but I didn't wanna be too OP...

Name:  Griver

 

Magic Ability:  Gravity control and manipulation.  Can move objects, from boulders and trees, to larger ones such as mountains, buildings, or whole cities.  Can intensify forces to hold them, animals, and people in place, or loosens it to cause suspension in the air.  Griver can use it for defensive purposes, like a body surrounding case or whole fields to stop, block, or deflect attacks.

 

Backstory:

 

Appearance:  Medium length, black spiky hair, dark yellow eyes, tan skin, dark yellow torn shirt, jeans, and combat boots.

 

Role:  Kamyn

Magic Ability: Aya can create copies of herself, however, they disappear when they are touched. It is good in battle, and she loves to use it to confuse others. She also has increased speed, and jumping abilities. This she shares with her brother. Aya can also sense others emotions. 

 

Backstory: Aya and her brother, Sairi, are very close siblings, and try not to part away from each other. Their father was killed in combat, and their mother went missing after she went into war as a nurse. The two have watched out for each other since then. When Aya discovered her ability, she loved it. She didn't want to stop using it, but even her shy brother convened her to stop making a big deal. But, she is a Climber with some skill, and a cute big brother.

Magic Ability: Sairi can temporally turn himself invisible until he makes psychical contact with someone. He also has increased speed and jumping, shared with his sister, and he can also control fire. 

 

Backstory: Sairi shares the same past as Aya, however he is much more timid, and shy. However, when they want to be, both of them can be rather childish. When Sairi discovered his powers, he was terrified. He never knew he could do such things. He liked staying invisible most of the time. He is only a Climber because his little sister is.

Role: Climber.

Alright, second characterName: Kinzoku MorsMagic Ability: Metal manipulation. She can control metal, bend it into what ever shape she wants, shoot it at people, move it with her mind.Backstory: Kinzoku is a promising young Mage. She loves to use her magic, it's a thrill for her, almost an addiction. She was placed on the doorstep of the magic academy, then left by her parents. So when he professors at the academy came to work the next day, they found baby Kinzoku. They had nothing else to do with her, and it was clearly the parent's wish for her to learn to use magic proficiently. So they took her in, and she lived among some of the best Mages in the country. By the time she was actually old enough to officially enroll in the academy, she could use her specific magic extremely well. Kinzoku would take advanced classes go several years, before graduating years before she should have! She stayed on at the academy for a little longer, but recently found a job elsewhere. She departed, got the job, and came back for a visit a few months later. When she got there, the academy was nowhere to be found. The building, the teachers, the students. All gone. Here was only an emptyot. She asked around, tried to find out where it had gone. But everybody told her there had never been an academy there. Along with Ultimus, I am posting a Kamyn character in hopes that a spot opens. If not, oh well...?
Also, for others' information, I've been using Enochian for some stuff since before I ever knew Supernatural ever existed, much less knew it used Enochian as well (Eh, just seems like everyone thinks I know about Enochian because of it and I've never even watched the show, but bleh anyway)

 

Name: Morgan "Etiam Vinctum"

 

Magic Ability: Elemental manipulation and illusionist elements--In general, controls the basic elements of water, air, earth, and fire to her will. However, Morgan can also alter the form of those elements. For example, if she so wished, she could fire an inferno, blazing towards her foes, but upon contact, will freeze them, having been ice the entire time. Such works with any combination, from making earth appear as air, air as water, etc etc.
Enochian chants--While not used commonly, taking time and energy quite a bit with it as well...Morgan may perform various feats with a mere chant of the Enochian language. The feat is, of course, respective to a chant and the variety of possibilities is near limitless, to certain extents of extremity.

 

Backstory: Morgan's meaningful past comes from what is rather recent--as she has lived an uneventful life beforehand. Raised with a great attachment and fascination with religion, her family, and herself, were always a bit...overzealous on the matter. This led Morgan to whom she is now, with the firm belief that God must exist somewhere. It is because of that belief, that she became easily of the most virtuous humans to currently live, in hopes of being directly rewarded by God...to prove His existence. Unfortunately, when such never happened, perhaps it'd be a bit easier to be punished--to be the most sinful human as can be. And so she did....

Magic Ability: Elemental Manipulation--self explanatory, yes?
Enochian chants--same as with Morgan.
Twilight--Light--Able to control light in itself. For example, Dante is able to drain the light into one point, becoming a strong beam of light and focusing heat on the point as well.The more focused the light, the stronger the heat it emits. He may also do the exact opposite, spreading light around, becoming dimmer, but among a wider area, or even channeling strong enough to flash an area for a few seconds, as a flash grenade would. Dante may not use this ability if there is absolutely NO light in the area. Also, Dante can conjure small light particles that infuse with inanimate objects in which Dante may fire out at light speed--in one direction (cannot bounce, curve, etc).
Twilight--Darkness--Able to control darkness in itself. Dante solidifies the darkness into carbon, able to be manipulated. The darkness can be intercepted by other materials, deflected by materials as strong as or stronger than carbon, but will not break. Instead, it will dissolve back towards Dante, weakened for a short time. Dante's darkness will instantly dissolve by a strong enough focus of light, and cannot be used at all when there is absolutely NO light to emit shadows from.

A man in black armor with blue crystals and jewels and also have a Saber-type sword on his right waist.His face was white skin and has green eye pupils that glows even in the dark.He has black hair but a little part of it was silver in color. He wears gloves and boots that was made out of Leather and have Red Cape on it's back.He sometimes have Helmet that he will wear and it looks like a Dragon-like mask.He's also have a horse that he always ride on it.

Hey folks! I'm a little busy today but I'll be back this afternoon to fully look through all your forms and give feedback/approve them. I've glanced through everyone's and they are looking good! Luckily we're getting a good amount of people so I may be able to up the Kamyn count, though I'm not sure if absolutely everyone who applied to be on is going to get it.

 

also, now I think there's enough people who have applied that I can make this announcement public without giving too much info out; the spy level has been currently capped. Name: Lance Alburght

Age: 22

 

Magic Ability:

He can use wind-elementary magic, like Aero, Aeroga etc (In FF argot). With the help of his lance and bow, he can combine magic and weapons to do multiple options of attacks. This power is greater in open field, however is limitated in close areas. 

He also can cure people, however, this also cause his health to decrease, depending of the amount of damage the person has received. In resume he can cure but is a double edge knive. 

Backstory:

An adventurer who looks for something lost. When he was 15, his father died, leaving him aone. Abandoning his old house in a village in Teragren, he left on a journey to search for a reason to live, a reason to keep going. That was 7 years ago. During that time he began to develop his magic little by little trying to combine it with the use of his weapons, he always carries a shard of green crystal, given by his passed mother, as a good luck charm. After hearing stories about the Kamin and the request of the  kingdom of Teragren, he joined the group to fight and stop the KAmin, in hopes to find what he´s looking for.

Backstory: Lived as a orphan, his parents were killed some years ago by bandits. He was abused by the Caretakers and children. However, one day while being beaten by the his fellow orphans, something inside him snapped. When the caretakers found him he was crying in the corner of the room,blood covering his clothes as he stood over the corpse of most of the children in the orphanage holding a Bloody Sword made from his tears.  He left the orphanage and trained himself, learning about his special ability. he also vowed to never kill the innocent again, the past still haunting him. He heard about the great climb of a mountain named Evraius. He decides to take part in the grueling task, attempting to make a new start.

Kinzoku enjoys the thrill of using her ability, especially in combat. So she has been engaged in sparring matches since she was young, and has practically mastered use of her ability. She enlisted the day she was able, and was able to get into the same order of magic knights that her father was a part of. Now the King has assigned her as the most promising young Mage to climb Evraius.

For example, if she so wished, she could fire an inferno, blazing towards her foes, but upon contact, will freeze them, having been ice the entire time. Such works with any combination, from making earth appear as air, air as water, etc etc.

Enochian chants--While not used commonly, taking time and energy quite a bit with it as well...Morgan may perform various feats with a mere chant of the Enochian language. The feat is, of course, respective to a chant and the variety of possibilities is near limitless, to certain extents of extremity.

 

Backstory: Morgan's meaningful past comes from what is rather recent--as she has lived an uneventful life beforehand. Raised with a great attachment and fascination with religion, her family, and herself, were always a bit...overzealous on the matter. This led Morgan to whom she is now, with the firm belief that God must exist somewhere. It is because of that belief, that she became easily of the most virtuous humans to currently live, in hopes of being directly rewarded by God...to prove His existence. Unfortunately, when such never happened, perhaps it'd be a bit easier to be punished--to be the most sinful human as can be. And so she did....

Twilight--Light--Able to control light in itself. For example, Dante is able to drain the light into one point, becoming a strong beam of light and focusing heat on the point as well.The more focused the light, the stronger the heat it emits. He may also do the exact opposite, spreading light around, becoming dimmer, but among a wider area, or even channeling strong enough to flash an area for a few seconds, as a flash grenade would. Dante may not use this ability if there is absolutely NO light in the area. Also, Dante can conjure small light particles that infuse with inanimate objects in which Dante may fire out at light speed--in one direction (cannot bounce, curve, etc).

Twilight--Darkness--Able to control darkness in itself. Dante solidifies the darkness into carbon, able to be manipulated. The darkness can be intercepted by other materials, deflected by materials as strong as or stronger than carbon, but will not break. Instead, it will dissolve back towards Dante, weakened for a short time. Dante's darkness will instantly dissolve by a strong enough focus of light, and cannot be used at all when there is absolutely NO light to emit shadows from.

After Echoes and Ash, I basically am subscribed to any RP you post MDS. I'm hooked and strapping in. Now, who to use...? Maybe it's time for me to actually use Sandrew. I didn't really get to last time I tried because there were too many charater's around and the RP just got nuts in general...

 

Name: Sandrew (his last name will be here, for some reason I forgot it...)

 

Magic Ability: (Get creative and I'll work to keep it balanced. Feel free to step up the power level for a Kamyn) he has transformations based off multiple diffrent elements (the four classic elements, sub elements of ice, ash, metal, and Sky (atmosphere stuff, like Deflection of radiation and being able to breathe under water because be can convert the area around him into a small atmosphere and turn the water into air) as well as darkness and light(KH sense). He has general control over each of these. With each transformation, a unique magical sword to each one is assigned and comes forth from the large iorn blade he has on his back. It's a plain iorn sword with silver edges. It's enchanted to not dull or break.

 

Now, for an in-depth to each form and it's sword counter part.

Fire- a bright red flame symbol appears across his whole body, and his eyes and hair turn a yellow orange color. The area around him becomes intensely hot, so much so that when he focuses it to a point, he can begin to melt down earth. It's accompanying sword is Detonater. Produces flames and explosions upon contact with another object of any kind, depending on the wish of the user and their emotion, the type of attack is used, and it gives off more heat and damage. When held by another person, the blade, unless Sandrew wishes for them to hold it, heats so hot that it can cook one's entire arm in an instant, specifically cooking it so well that any carnivorous creatures around will be drawn to the person. It looks like a large, black and redish orange longsword. With a amber gemstone in the hilt and top of the blade that look like fire.

 

Water- Sandrew's skin becomes clear as fresh water, so dose his blood, muscle, bones, ect. And he becomes bathed in a bluish light. He takes less damage in this form and normally lethal blows won't kill him, unless he is severely weakened first. The pairing sword is called Blue Passion, a blade that has a similar appearance of Sandrew in this form, it looks like a long, thin sword, much like a rapure. This sword can move and flex like water, or cut through things like water can. It hydrates areas, and in fact emits a very powerful spray of water from the blade. It can be used to heal slightly, but not on himself. When someone else he dosent want to touch it tries to, their hands become do slippery/wet that thy cannot grip onto it, let alone anything until they are dried off.

 

Earth- Sandrew turns into a light brown, almost dirt-like color, and bits of rock/sand stick to him and his skin is now hard as bedrock. The area around him shakes like a small earthquake. (Just about a 6.0 max normally, just a little above noticeable and can cause property damage, only if he is really angry) it's accompanying sword is a large, black claymore he wields one-handed. It's blunt, but heavy and strong. It can fire and manipulate rocks and earth just like an extention of Sandrew's arm. When someone other than someone he wants to hold it tries to, it will not move, it will become a fixed to the ground or the point in space it's at, becoming too heavy for anyone but Sandrew to lift.

 

Ice: Sandrew becomes covered in a dark blue glow, a mist veil also surrounds him, and he becomes covered in a set of ice armor stronger that any average metal. He can freeze things at will, but the bigger/stronger the person or thing he freezes is, the faster it thaws. This sword, Iciy Crimson, looks like a long stalagmite or stalagtite, but when the outer shell breaks or gets removed, a much sharper straitsword becomes present. If someone attempts to hold this and Sandrew dose not want them to, it will give the person frostbite instantly.

 

Ash: Sandrew becomes black and grey, giving off a faint smoke around him. In this form, he can clone himself, move silently, quickly, cause one to choke from lack of air. His sword converts to a black dagger and a set of kunai which can explode into ash, thus making the area harder to see in. If someone tries to wield or hold the knife or daggers, they will turn to dust and return to Sandrew.

 

Metal- his body becomes covered in armor, which can vary each time, and can be changed or repaired if Sandrew uses enough energy to repair it. His sword becomes a very long broadsword he wields one-handed. It can be molded and changed to diffrent shapes, howecer.If Sandrew pours his energy into it, the metal can be powered into a electric-style weapon (like chainsaw). If someone tries to use it but he dosent approve, it transforms into a pair of very large handcuffs that lock on the person's wrists and cannot be removed unless Sandrew gives the OK.

 

Sky: he becomes blue like the sky itself, save his hair, which turns into clouds, and his eyes, which look like a sun and a moon. He can't be phisicaly struck in this form, but Majin becomes more deviating to him in this form. He can't attack, either, but he can affect the weather and atmosphere itself in this form. (Yall Maddafakkas wanot cancer?). This form has a "sword" but it can only strike non phisical tjings, like other magic blasts, and destroy/seam them away. When used on someone, it can temporarily stop an ability they have from working, but only if they're bin the process of using it. Since its not phisical, and has no form, someone else cannot use it.

 

Darkness/light- he becomes cloaked in the aforementioned thing and gains intense phisical or special (phisical for light, dark for magic/energy) buffs, as well as slight flight ability. The blade he has in each form is Dawn to Dusk, a set of blades made of pure darkness and light. They get buffs and phisical shapes that resemble the version of the form he is in at that time. They are phisicaly bound to his body and cannot be removed.

 

Each form can be freely interchanged between, but Sandrew needs a brief intermission between them, and when he switches it takes a large amount of his energy. And can leave him drained intensely quickly. He can't keep them up forever, as well, unless others share their energy with him, but even then that will eventually run out.

 

Backstory: a boy who was always born hating violence. He never wanted war or combat to ever happen, always being inquisitive of the world around him, he would wander between fields and mountains of many kinds. He hated no season, nor element, but his personality all comes from his past. His father was drafted into war, as well as killed in combat, and his mother was killed protecting him from ruthless soldiers who were trying to occupy their house. Because of this, he hates to see combat of any kind. He dosent want to watch others die around him. It wasn't until he was forced to join in on this expadition that he did anything since his childhood but wander around aimlessly enjoying whatever peace he could. Though he disliked combat heavily, he learned his way around with a scythe and magic in order to protect himself, he's never killed a person before with this ability, however. He's too afraid to kill, and if he had his choice, would never have joined this expidetion.

 

Appearance: a short, light-brown haired kid with emerald eyea. He wears a long black cloak and a small amount of armor on his chest. He wears long, brown knight boots.

After reading all of the magic in this, I'm wondering how good mine is. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to seeing how this RP comes out.

Edited both of my characters. Warthrop because he felt weak. He didn't feel weak before, then NeverBetter powered up, so I had to power up, because if NeverBetter turns out to be a spy, then I would've been screwed. NeverBetter scares me.

The fact I know way too much about combat makes any character I have OP. And I can't do the role of evil people, I'm bad at villains most of the time, so if I was a spy, I would get killed by all of you so fast...
