4K Media announces a new Yu-Gi-Oh! Movie currently in development in Japan. The company is now shopping for a distributor for all territories outside of Asia. This exciting news for the global fan base of the popular, world-record setting trading card game comes just as licensing Expo kicks off in Las Vegas.

 

"We're thrilled to bring the Yu-Gi-Oh! characters back to theater screens for their enthusiastic fan base," says Kristen Gray, 4K Media senior vice president operations, business and legal affairs. "It's a major piece in the robust resurgence of the brand that will have significant implications moving forward."

 

The Yu-Gi-Oh! series is currently in its 14th consecutive year of broadcast in the U.S. and most major markets worldwide. The series and brand continue to captivate children, particularly boys, through its best-selling trading card game, animated series and motion picture releases.

If it's as bad as Bonds beyond Time(a movie that kept on sucking Yusei's dick) or involves anything from ZeXal......I won't watch it

Anyone notice that the yugioh series never had a main female protagonist that is like Yugi,Judai,Yusei,etc.

Hmm, this movie could turn out to be a faithful callback to the original.  Or it could tie in to Zexal?  Well, either way, the only Yu-Gi-Oh series I've seen is the original one and GX and 5D's.  And I haven't even seen them completely.

Anyone think after Yugioh Arc V there should be a new Yugioh season with a main female protagonist?
