So, I'm on the fence about whether or not I should decide to get Bravely Default (heard great things about it, loved the demo, and friends like it). It is about $5 more expensive for me than my other option, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity (which is part of a series that always brings tears to my eyes and has great music). Kind of torn about which one I would like, so could I get some opinions on the games?

Well, I suggest you go with Bravely Default.  I've heard great things about it, and the art style is amazing, and the battle system is unique and intuitive.  So yeah, try going for Bravely Default.  But in the end, the decision is yours and yours alone.

If you really loved the demo for Bravely Default, then you should go with that. Gates of Infinity isn't as highly rated as previous entries in that series.

You just reminded me that I need to play this game. I knew there was something else I could use my 3DS for.

I would go with Bravely Default.  The soundtrack is awesome, the game interesting, and I think that Square Enix provides some of the best RPGs out there.

hmm... yeah I`d say which one you know would have the most replay value to you. I don`t know a lot about either games.

Don't bother with the 3DS Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Like, at all.

Well i also think you should go with bravely default but just because Gates to Infinity was imo just meh

I never played the pokemon game but I though BD was really good so I'll say Bravely Default
