sora will always be the protagonis ALWAYS nomura even confirmed this in an interview now i read some topics and i noticed some of you guys saying stuff like "replace sora" & "new protagonist for the next saga" i know some of you want new charecters and thats fine BUT DAMN show em some respect kingdom hearts is his game we can have new charecters to play as but theres nothing wrong with sora the new charecters can have thair own spinoff game like days or bbs if sora werrent the main charecter it just wouldn't be kingdom hearts like taking the disney aspect out of the game are any of you familiar with the term "if it aint broke dont fix it" sora is not only my favorite charecter of all time but meny of my calleges Love him as well as nomura himself (seriously look it up)

Sora96 knows that. Sora is confirmed for KH4. Numora may change in KH5 if he says it.

I see what you mean and I do agree with you but I don't recall anyone saying that Sora wouldn't be the Protagonist of the next game, just people suggesting alternative playable characters like Roxas and Lea for the sake of variation and the fact that they are good characters. I wouldn't want Sora out of the picture, since he's been such an important part of the series already. ^_^

Taking Sora out of Kingdom Hearts would be like taking Ash out of Pokemon. Do some people not want them as main characters? Yes. But is it going to happen? Nope. Sora is Kingdom Hearts just like Ash is Pokemon and you can't have one without the other, unless it's a spin-off or an actual game series that is different from the show.

Yeah. A spin off of an  actual game. Where the show could actually be "spun-off". Maybe with a protagonist similar to Ash...but better in every aspect. With better writing and character development, and arcs that were somehow... intricate and pleasing to watch.. Damn it. If only they had only produced something...

They'll remember whatever they have to if Nintendo/Game Freak just went along and televised it. And they gave the broadcasting rights to someone other than Cartoon Network who are shoving it in the closet where no one can see it (Saturdays at 8 am I think). Red could change the Pokemon anime forever.Hell, they could even continue Origins (even though I heard it was really expensive)! And I knew what you meant...but...the angst within.

But seriously dude, I have been to two Pokemon tours and you know who I saw as the main character? I saw Ash, and these were at the 10th anv and the Black and White tour. You know who I didn't see? I didn't see Red, just someone dressed up as Red. So my point still stands as of this moment. Ash is the true face of Pokemon, as said by Game Freak, who is in charge of Pokemon. While Red is the true face of the video game series, as proven by how Red has mangas of his in game adventures and whatnot, and how Red was in Smash Bros as the Pokemon Trainer, using his FireRed appearance. I mean we can hope and pray all we want to, but as of this moment, this is how it truly is and we just have to go along with it. Also am I the only one thinking that Pikachu resembles Mickey's role? Like Mickey is the nonhuman face of Walt Disney and Pikachu is the nonhuman face of Pokemon?

The problem with a game series that has many installments is that the only thing that bothers people as much as change across titles is a lack of change across titles. I personally think Sora should maintain protagonist status (though giving other characters some time to shine wouldn't hurt) but many people will just want change for the sake of change. 

Nomura replacing Sora is like Nintendo replacing Mario. Sure Sora may take a small break from time to time like he did in between Kingdom Hearts II and Dream Drop Distance, just like how Mario took a break and Luigi and Yoshi would get a few games.

 

It's as simple as that.

I forgot to say that some game directors, story writers told in a interview he/she will Always be the rotagonist... Well they died... In a interview about Arkham Origins they said ''No Joker will not be the main villain of the game Black Mask is the main villain, it will be very predictable... Look how that ended
