I really don't get why they won't make a sequel to the game on the 3DS. I mean for heavens sake they should really take advantage of the 3DS' popularity since the system is selling like hotcakes worldwide. Plus, there's the fan demand. And even though that the original cast's story ended on a high note. They could always make an entire new cast of characters. I really wish Square Enix that tease us with their little teaser at the end of the IOS version. Do you know how much money Square could make if they made a sequel on the 3DS!? This is a totally missed opportunity for Square to make some big bucks since a lot of fans want a sequel.

They've BEEN teasing us for years now. It's just another example of good ol' Square pissing off their fans because they can and not giving us what we want. :

There's a chance they may announce something for TWEWY soon considering the fairly recent amount of TWEWY related things (Android version of Solo Remix, new merchandise, and seclusive trademarking).

I vaguely recall The World Ends With You -Live Remix- getting shut down, so they may feel there isn't enough money in a sequel at this time

TWEWY was wonderful (ba dum tss) and I guess a sequel would be great, but I honestly don't see what the big deal is. Is the game we have now not enough?

Now I have a question(s): What would be/what would you like in TWEWY 2, if such a mystical thing were to ever exist? Why do you want a sequel?

Well Live Remix was a social MMO for smart phones. That was a horrible idea there.

Right now all of Square's teams are busy making other games. Hopefully once this Final Fantasy 15 nonsense is out of the way, we can get back to making more games!

I would really like to have a sequel for this game but when they released it in IOS, I started losing hope for having it back to Nintendo consoles.

In addition to the Merch Campaign they are doing, Takeharu's band, The Death March (based on the band from TWEWY) is gonna release a reinterpretation album (Consists of TWEWY and FF music) on Sept. 17th. If it sells well, and the campaign does well, then they will have enough funds to work on TWEWY2.

I hope if there is a sequel it`s also released on smartphones... The controls were just amazing.

They know TWEWY 2 will be the best FUQING gameinformer the last 5 years that why they're taking their time... So much time

Besides we already know they are gonna make another one, They added them in 3D, made Solo Remix (which I proudly on) and that new image with that new character.

While I think it's possible that Square would make TWEWY 2, I still think TWEWY doesn't really need a sequel, and it might even be better without one. Doesn't mean I wouldn't be happy if they made it... : PP
