Sora's voice actor (Haley Joel Osment) sidesteps a question on Kingdom Hearts III

Posted

Haley Joel Osment, the English voice actor for Sora in the Kingdom Hearts series, was questioned today by IGN at San Diego Comic-Con International 2014. IGN asked Osment if he had done any voice recording work for Kingdom Hearts III, and this is what Osment had to say. Thanks go to @churroz for the tip and for roxasman1231 for posting it on KH13 first.

Have you done anything for Kingdom Hearts III yet? Anything you can share?

I am not allowed to share-- every time, we've done a couple of installments, I am on paper not allowed to share anything about it. But I know Kingdom Hearts fans are really loyal and dedicated and they will not be disappointed when we get around to whatever is in the future.

Not neccessarily. We know they started voice acting somewhat because of the voices in that Teaser trailer. I'm saying they could've started it. I mean who knows, maybe they're doing it out of order, since Nomura's taking forever with actually making the game.

I see, well maybe when TGS comes around we can see how far they have come since last year :)

I would hope so. Although, knowing Nomura, we might not get anything new.

no don't say that! I want some sort of new trailer! Maybe a couple worlds so we can finally have more to talk about!

I like how direct he is about it. I'd get annoyed, too. These people are supposed to be professional journalists, they should know that nobody can say anything about KHIII except for the co-leads. And their lips are sealed.

He hasn't done anything. He's made that clear.

And even if he was he wouldnt tell us xD

woder what it means

I wonder how HE could say something about a game in development...Hope to have some news at Tokyo Game Show!

is he voice acting or could it be something else?

He will probably do the voice acting at the start of this yeat

He should of at least spoiled the Re:Coded cutscenes *sigh*

He knows if he spoiled anything about kingdom hearts 3 sqaure enix's hitmen would on him fast!

At least we know they're actually doing stuff.

He looks like a Hobbit. Hobbitses cower when confronted. Henceforth, no information coming out of him.

Oh Haley ... I used to think you were a girl... STOP AVOIDING THE FANS FOOL

Voice acting isn't done til the very end right? So he probably actually hasn't done anything!

That girl on the left is really hot haha

Lol. True

Is it me or the last sentence could mean there will be some dramatic change?

I think he is hinting to somthing big at e3 or Tokyo game show

Not always if he has done voice acting it will probably be noises sora makes when he hits an enemie or sora screaming magic spells and also voice acting for trailers and stuff they want to show us
