Square Enix will be powering important games like Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III with the powerful Luminous graphics engine, but they will be doing so under new leadership. The company announced today that Chief Technology Officer Yoshihisa Hashimoto has resigned for personal reasons.

His roles have already been filled by other staff. FFXV will still use this engine. Changes nothing.

My thoughts exactly. There are most likely too many corporate systems in place for one man leaving to lead to a sort of infrastructure collapse.Rewording that, the infrastructure of the team(s) working on Luminous is likely too solid to fail.
