This thread is to discuss the little things that can be added or changed to gameplay that would make KH3 better than past games.

For example: I think it would be neat if you can manually target individual allies to specific enemies mid battle. Maybe with the use of the L2 and R2 buttons since they currently have no use. It would add more strategy to fights and could make some boss fights more interesting.

If command styles are brought back, they shouldn't have to be mandatory to change into them.

What are some little things you'd like to see in KH3?

Please only discuss things to improve gameplay.

Me not seeing frozen.

i'd like to see some new drive forms, like one that uses Flowmotion.

Me not seeing frozen.

Fool. That has nothing to do with actual gameplay.

It's what i would like to see, anyways. Maybe the keyblade shooting lasers? Lol, for now I'm like blank on the game since the development hasn't reached that far yet.

I'd like to see the command menu system from the first two games return. Also flowmotion

Fool. Me too, except no flowmotion. It made platforming completely useless and areas uselessly big.

I would like to see no paper faces in kingdom hearts 3.

I think that certain abilities you had to unlock and use AP to have, such as scan and dodge roll, should be on the character from the start.

Okay then. I would like to see a form gauge similar to the gauge in kh2, but with a twist. It would also like it to be 100% innovative.

Fool. That makes sense. They are pretty much staples.

Hmmm Being able to use flowmotion only when transformed or something like that.

Ability mender anyone? I personbally liked it. If we manage to mend all abilities we can have them all equiped, but in DDD we couldn't because we needed the dream eaters, what really enraged me.

DUAL WEILDING!!!!!! For Sora, Ven and Roxas. Why? Because. Even if Ven's heart goes back to him, he was stuck with Sora for so long that all of them should be able to dual wield.

More combos, like we had back in KHII.

That's it for me.

I want a hub world like in kh1 which evolves the more you progress through the game. The weird Moogle shops next to every save point wasn't needed imo.

I think it would be cool to obtain special powers through each Keychain you obtain in the game.  For example, a fire type Keyblade could deal fire damage to foes, causing them to have the burn status condition, you know, small things like that.  I can't think of anything else for now.

Fool. Yeah, keyblade abilities should come back.

Speaking of which, I think status ailments should be improved. I really can't be satisfied by how they are right now...

I can think of a few things that'd be nice! Multiplayer for starters would be awesome! And a combination between drive form and flowmotion would be pretty cool too. There are also some abilities that in previous games you've had to wait to til nearly the end to get like glide, that'd be better if you just had them a the beginning! But I think the coolest thing they could do is have Sora open doors again. Like he did in KH1! That just made the game feel a lot more real than walking through them like a ghost.

Fool. I don't know about glide. It would make unreachable areas reachable a lot sooner, which spoils pacing. Unless they can work around it.

So? With flowmotion in Kingdom Hearts 3D you could pretty much reach any area you wanted too! Which was nice cuz you didn't have to revisit all the worlds once you got glide after the game was pretty much over!

Fool. Flow motion made traveling through the worlds very pointless. Revisiting the worlds is part of the magic.

I don't know why they would allow you to use flowmotion indefinetly like that. it is ridiculous. I hope there is some sort of limiter in KH3 if they use flowmotion.

True I guess. Flowmotion didn't make it has fun but if they were going to give you glide ( and if there is a limit on flowmotion if it's in the game) it would be nice to at least have it in the middle of the game instead of the very end!

I want to do some insane air combos like in kingdom hearts 2, i really liked the combat of that game, also i hope they keep drive forms in but make them a lot harder to unlock and unleash because then it'll make the game too easy.

Fool. Yes, air combat should be explored more, but not like neverland, just more aerial combat.

My first post on this site was basically this thread, here's what I said "This is my first post but I could not stop thinking about what is possible for KH3 on next gen consoles in terms of features and gameplay. For example after watching the FF15 trailer where Noctis is throwing his sword and teleporting to it I thought about how cool it would be for that to be an ability that sora(or riku or other) could unlock after meeting him.  You could use it to reach high platforms or perform "reactions" so I want to hear what Ideas other people may have." I still want this to be a thing but it has to be some thing you get halfway through at the earliest, so that way you could use it in a similar way to glide in KH1 and 2. I also have more ideas, ever since I was a kid I wanted to design games and KH3 is one I have already made in head many times.
