No plans yet for a BradyGames strategy guide of HD 2.5 ReMIX

Posted

I contacted BradyGames, the publishers for strategy guides of the Kingdom Hearts series in North America, if there are any plans for a strategy guide of HD 2.5 ReMIX. Here is their response

Not yet. But there is always a possibility!

Plus, if they don't make an official guide. We always have the community of Kingdom Hearts gamers who can make guides for us.

There are already official guides anyway.

Fool. Official guides except for Re:Coded. This time around Re:Coded will be a whole new ball game. It would be weird for them not to make a strategy guide.

Aw, you did it for me. I doubt they'll do it. Some company called 'Prima games' did the guide for 1.5, so maybe you should contact them.

Contacted~

If they don't make a strategy guide I think I'll be fine. After all I still have the strategy guides for KH2 and BBS.

Never used a strategy guide in my entire life (regarding the solutions part), I prefer to discover everything all by myself xD But I hope they make one for HD 2.5 as well, reading detailed enemies descriptions/stats, and stuff like that, is always cool

Hope they do one! I love their guides!

Ethusiastic, eh?! I will destroy it.

Nah they're just gonna release next year most likely... In fact it's AUG, why would they reveal so soon anyway?

Prima should be doing one. I expect a release just before x-mas, not a day one release. I'm writing an FAQ that will be day one, if that helps at all.

they'll probably be more accurate, either way. Especially if the localisation just recycles old weapon and ability info.

First, I have to point something out.  Bradygames published the guides for the original releases... they did NOT publish a guide for the Remix of Kingdom Hearts 1.5.  Prima did that.  Prima are the guys who would probably publish a 2.5 Remix guide.

Second, while some say, "Use the previous official guides," just remember that the Remix stuff includes new content that those guides won't cover.

Lastly, getting a strategy guide isn't actually always about using it.  Those who got the 1.5 Remix Guide will note it was a collector's item.  Yes, you COULD use it, but most strategy guides are published and released now to complement the game they're released for not necessarily just to be a tool for the game.  In other words, it's perfectly okay to have it just because.

They have one for Kingdom Hearts 2 already. There would be no point.
