Has the Kingdom Hearts series always been your favorite series of games?

One word: Pokémon, it's been there since I can remember, and that place can never be taken.

It's tied with Mass Effect for my favorite video game series.

Yes, though I have always felt quite fond of Zelda and on some degree Sims (I could go through a few days playing it non-stop, then don't touch the Sims for months).  

 

There's only a few games I actually remember from my childhood playing, OoT, 1080, Super Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie on the N64, Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex, Mary Kate and Ashley Sweet Sixteen License to Drive, Sonic Heroes on the PS2, Asterix Mega Madness, Sims 1, Lego Island Return of the Brickster on the PC.  I didn't really have much options or get games as presents regularly til I was in my teens, when I got KH2 when I was 12 and wanted more from the series.  

KH has been my favorite series since the moment I played KH1 for the first time. : D Nowadays I'm getting more and more into Persona, but it's still my favorite and will probably always be. I liked video games before KH, but not as much and it got me into JRPGs.

kingdom hearts was one of the first video games i had ever played the first games being megaman legands , jak and dexter II , GTA vice city , dragonball z budokai , ratchet and clank & sly 2. i loved all these games but when i got kingdom hearts from a friend t was diffrent from all the other games the story was both compeling and complex and the characters were so very unique and sora was a pretty interesting character but was FAR from someone i would say was "COOL" after murdering ansem and beating the game it left me craving more "at this time kh was nowhere close to being my favorite game let alone series" but i had no idea there was a sequel so i just let it be untill i found out the current "trend" at my middle shcool called emulators. after toying around with diffrent emulators like the project 64 or the no$GBA i stumbled across the GBA emulator. before the school season ended i had downloaded kingdom hearts chain of memories but i wasn't to interested in it at the time because i was playing megaman X2 & ocarina of time but that summer i had nothing to do so if i wasn't playing ocarina of time i was playing chain of memories but as i played COM i was captivated but the story and the dark tone.....but im babbling im sorry for the long story of how i got into kh and how it became my favorite series. i wasn't done but im pretty sure no one wants to hear the tale of poor ol little ol liamaru

The first time I played it wasnt even a game series, it was just KH1.

When KH2 came out and became a game series, yeah it became my favourite.

 

But if TWEWY 2 ever comes out, the throne will say bye bye.

Hahaha! Right now, of course! Kingdom Hearts is amazing, and even though everyone says the plot is convoluted, I don't think so at all! It's complicated, but it's really good and it pulls you in. The characters are also really charming, and the gameplay is fun. Kingdom Hearts is amazing!

 

Although it might not be my favorite game series for long if SOMETHING is announced in the next few days... 

 

Don't worry Kingdom Hearts. You're still awesome, and you'll always have second place in my HEART.

HA, for two years! I used to hate the series, thought it was stupid to have regular characters and Disney characters in one game... Couldn't find a connection... So randumb

 

Now I don't mind the franchise, I rue the spider web plot and graphics, but praise the gameplay and soundtrack. Yep

I played KH2 first, then KH then Days and then 3D, after i played 3D, i realized, that i knew nothing about KH and played KH BBS, Coded and Chain of Memories too, since them I am a KH freak^^

Well actually when I was a kid, the Mario series was my all time favorite until I stumbled upon a Kingdom Hearts walkthrough video on YouTube. I actually knew about Kingdom Hearts when I was a kid because I watched my cousin play it all the time, but I never knew the name of it, and so I forgot about it, until four years ago! I love this game so much now!

I have like 3 or 4 favorite series but it's tough to put them in order

The kingdom hearts series is my favorite gaming series since 2006 and the legend of zelda is right behind it.

It did not start out as my favorite series (Pokemon was), but it became my favorite after I bought 358 (and then the rest of the series, besides BbS because no PSP), and it stayed that way for a few years. Then in 2012 I discovered the Tales of series and that became my favorite.

Yep. From the second I landed on Destiny Islands in the original KH, I knew this series would be something special to me.

I wouldn't say favorite, but it's up there.
