Why I think that Kingdom hearts 3 should have a world-wide release date.

Posted

Before I start, I would like to say that the following you're about to read you may or may not agree with it. Feel free to share your opinion in the comments below.

I think that they would at least give us something about kingdom hearts 3 every year so fans will know how far they are in developing the game. Think about it. We got at least two trailers for kingdom hearts 3 last year. This year we got a kingdom hearts 3 teaser trailer at e3 this year. You see what I mean here? We should get a least two things related to kingdom hearts 3 this year, one of them being the kingdom hearts teaser trailer. To tell the truth, I really hope they don't leave kingdom hearts 3 in the dark for the rest of the year because people have been waiting for this game for A LOT of years. Japan should now understand that people have been waiting for this game to come out since people started speculating about it before they announced kingdom hearts 3. I think that if they truly understand what the fans are feeling all over the world they would do a world wide release date due to the fact that this is one of the most anticipated games in history. I'm hoping that there's a world wide release date so that everybody around the world can get the most anticipated kingdom hearts game at the same time so nobody would get it earlier then other people would around the world. They really need to realize that most of the fan base is not in Japan. There're kingdom hearts fans found in Europe, North America, etc. I hope that Square Enix sees that people want to be treated fair and that releasing the game in Japan first would not be fair to the rest of the world because we have been waiting for this game as long as Japan has, so i'm hoping that Square Enix is thinking more about the fans in other countries this time when it comes to kingdom hearts 3, the most anticipated kingdom hearts game to date.

And guess what, this actually toke me 15 minutes to type. I guess i'm really a good  at typing. xD

There is only one reason why it should have a worldwide release. To stop everyone in Europe, the US and every other territory outside of Japan from avoiding the internet for however many months Square Enix decide to be dicks.

I'm sure they will. Square Enix have started releasing titles worldwide on the same day with XIV: ARR and TAY 3D remake. I'd fully expect FFXV and KH3 to have one as well.

i hope your right, cuz i hate waiting for games when i know that somewhere in the world they have it already :/

While I think a world wide release would be fair, to save Western fans from getting spoiled while waiting, I don't think they need to meet a quota of how many trailers or info they put out about KH3.  Developments a long process, putting a quota on a thing like trailers for the sake of them being out just seems unnecessary.

Edit: Like the Zombie Quota in Walking Dead never did the episodes any good.

So close...

I hope it's within a week. at least but I don't think it will be. I would think the best way to so a simultaneous release would be to complete the Japanese game, then localize the English/Eu versions and only release it in all territories once the last country's version is complete, rather than rush localization to match the JP release date.. That way the quality of localization won't suffer and we won't have award moments like the ice cream line and the "why did he pick you" incident.

It BETTER get a worldwide release Along with anything else that they might announce soon I HATE spoilers, and it would be annoying to have to avoid so many websites just to not have KH3 spoiled for me. :P

Kinda like what Pokemon are doing? I totally agree.

You can better ask if FFXV would get a worldwide release. Then KH3 will have probably one.

So all eyes on FFXV.

Still Curtain Call isn't worldwide.

i wish. i wish i wish upon a frickin star

It makes sense because the release date of HD 2.5 ReMIX for Japan and the rest of the world is only two months apart. It's as if they're "building up" to it.

Peace!
