Will You Be Getting Xenoblade Chronicles 3DS?

Posted

So as you all know Xenoblade Chornicles has been confirmed to be getting a port on the New 3DS (still think they should change the name btw). Well, do you plan to buy the 3DS port or are you going to just stick to the original Wii version? For me I won't be getting it anytime soon since I already have the Wii version. The only thing that would make me want to purchase it at day 1 is if there was any extra features that weren't in the original Wii version.

Depends on if I get the New 3DS XL.

It's Xenoblade on the go so for me the answer is yes

uhh incoming the onslaught of angry people calling me a Nintendo fanboy for purchasing the new 3DS even though I didn't upgrade to the XL in the first place

I'll be trying my hardest to grab it day one with the new 3DS model (till release the name is obviously subject to change). I loved the original, and the ability to carry such a mighty game in my pocket would be amazing.

Depends on reviews and if I deem this "New" 3DS something actually valuable

Xenoblade is my favorite game of all time bar none, but I don't know if it warrants the price of a new handheld iteration that, when you take the DSi's track record, might not have that many exclusives to convince cheap people like me who already have a 3DS into buying it.

I know I will, having the game on the go is perfect, speacially with how big the game is, so whenever the New 3DS comes out in the West, I'll be getting a XL metallic blue one with Xenoblade Chronicles.

nah,I've already spent over a 100 hours on the Wii,I've done a tone of sidequests so there's no point for me to repurchase the game again.

Definitely, I'll be upgrading from a 2DS to the "new" 3DS XL in the process.

Well, it's only the reason WHY I'm getting the New 3DS in the first place. I freaking love Xenoblade, and I'm excited to play it anywhere I want to!

If you're really concerned about whether or not Xenoblade is a good game (Spoiler: It is), you could just read reviews for the Wii version...

Can't I play it on my Wii U? The Wii version I mean.

Yes, you can. That's how I play my copy.

Is the wii game Pro Controller friendly?

Even if I do get the New 3DS, I probably won't get Xenoblade. I tried the Wii version, and it just didn't click. The battle system bored me severely (I seriously hate auto-attack systems, never played one I liked), and the premise didn't interest me much.

If you mean Wii U Pro Controller, no. It works with the Wii's Classic Controller, though, which I find to be the best controller option.
