Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster continues to sell well on the PlayStation Store in North America. It was the 13th best selling PS3 title of August 2014 and the 5th best selling Vita title of August 2014.

I own the PS2, PS3, and PS Vita versions of X already

 

Despite this I would be willing to buy the PS4 version just to watch this scene in the doubly remastered PS4 graphics

Interesting that they didn't announce this at PSX if it's legit. Wonder if they're also having the team that's making this port over the KH HD collections to PS4 as well, that'd be nice.

Can't to buy it for the 3rd time. Yeah, I am really doing it. Love these games.

I don't have the Vita version, but a PS4 version would basically function as one. I'd be okay with buying it at some point, but even at 40 bucks, buying a game for a third time seems a little nuts (fourth if you count the PS2 days... never got X-2). Maybe if they include a cool CE... or at least a bonus for people who bought one/both versions.

 

Makes you wonder when they're releasing 1.5 and 2.5 on the PS4 =P.

Shinji Hashimoto has announced that Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is officially coming to PlayStation 4. It will be released in Spring 2015.

3 has more games at the moment, but from here on all the major releases are coming to PS4. There's a good chance of 1.5 and 2.5 coming to PS4, but it's way too soon to say for sure with 2.5 being released not even 2 weeks ago.

This thread proves that SE doesn't care about re-releases and when they are spaced out. I think there is a decent chance 1.5 and 2.5 will eventually get to PS4 and XB1. PS3 does have more games, but to the best of my knowledge, Persona 5 is the last big game coming to the console. After that, it's pretty much blank. PS4 will get more games (including KH3!!!), but there aren't that many games currently.
