KHIII Playable Xehanort Scenario Theory

Featured Replies

That's... actually a pretty good theory.

If this doesn't happen in the game I'll be mad.

Now seriously, playing as Young Xehanort would be amazing.

THIS HAS TO HAPPEN

I've actually heard this theory before, so I can't say it's really new. However, it's a great possibility.

Well we have eventually been able to play as characters who debuted as secret bosses (Xemnas, Lingering Will) so I think this is a possibility. It would be very neat, as I feel the only thing the story is lacking right now is about the past of Yen Sid, Eraqus, and Xehanort.

"And, I wanted to show everyone that KH3 begins somewhere nobody is expecting, with speaking from new voice actors that haven’t appeared in the series before. I really enjoyed seeing everyone try to guess who those two are...By the way, the conversation between those two is actually a lot longer, it goes for over two minutes. When you hear their conversation, you’ll understand the flow of everything so far."Most likely this cutscene Nomura has mentioned from the E3 teaser will just be a cutscene and nothing more like Dream Drop Distance's opening, but let's just run with the idea it's actually moreSo after this initial cutscene you will play as Young Xehanort in the Land of Departure, undergoing a tutorial similar to Birth by Sleep's but far more grand with Young Eraqus and Young Yen Sid as your party membersAfter this the story will go back to Sora and friends in the modern timeline, but throughout the game after you reach pivotal points in the plot you will keep getting to play through flashbacks of Xehanort's lifeDuring these flashbacks we will come to better understand things like how the Darkness began to entice Xehanort, whatever happened to their Master, why Yen Sid abandoned his post as a Keyblade Wielder, how Xehanort found Ven, and much much more

swedish? i translate japan to english :/xD

Well, that's actually an enticing theory. Just one question though.

Why'd you put this in the Random section?

This place is for fun and games, but this sounds like legit speculation. You should move this to the Kingdom Hearts III section.

Well after that teaser they showed for KH3, it kinds makes sense to start off with either young Xehanort or Eraqus. Maybe this would somehow link KHχ with KH3.

So after this initial cutscene you will play as Young Xehanort in the Land of Departure, undergoing a tutorial similar to Birth by Sleep's but far more grand with Young Eraqus and Young Yen Sid as your party members

I like your theory, I had thought of something similar but I forgot about Yen Sid.

Though one issue is that Xehanort was born on Destiny Islands right? So maybe we should start from there and kind of mirror KH1 with Young Xehanort finding a way off the Islands to the Land of Departure. We could maybe even do a "Dive to the Heart" thing with Young Xehanort as the start.

I actually like this idea! One of the flashbacks needs to be Xehanort losing his hair and trying to learn to live as a baldie. :P

That may be possible, just like how it works when we played as Roxas in KHII and then, stick to Sora after that.

I post all my Topics under "Random"If the Moderators wanna move it that's fine, but I figure might as well leave it in my favorite Forum

His going bald is what led him to turn to the Darkness spoiler alert

Well, if you like Random I get it, but you should really post specific topics under the proper sections, it just makes sense in an organizational way.

I will give you a medal of honour if this happens. Kudos to you Ruby! :D

Peace!
