Do You Think KH3 Will Ever Come To PC?

Posted

So do you guys really think that KH3 will ever come to PC after it releases on the Xbox One and PS4? I would actually love to see it on PC since videos games are pretty much made on PC's. I'm not a PC gamer, myself since that would require me to constantly upgrade the specs on my computer. But I would like to see the difference in the in the quality between the console version and PC version if they ever release it on PC

I can see it coming to PC after it releases on the XBone and PS4, especially since FFXIII got a PC release. Let's just hope the PC port of KH3 is a high quality one.

Well considering how PC's are always more powerful than game consoles than I'm sure that KH3 will be in much higher quality than on PS4/Xbox One. At least in my opinion anyway.

Well, last year when it was announced they said it could be released in any platform that supports Direct X 11, so (if that hasn't changed) there's always a chance.

well since they are now working with unreal 4 it would be even easier for them to make a PC version. Hopefully if it's done they don't make the same mistakes that were made with FF13 on steam.

If FFXV makes it to PC, then KH3 definitely will too.

If KH3 doesn't make it to PC, just get an emulator and play the game from there. That's how I'm playing my PS2 games now xD

I doubt it's going to come to PC. I just don't feel like it's something Square or Disney would want to really do. I suppose it's possible since it's also coming to Xbox One, but I think KHIII won't go further than that.

There is only the possibility so far. If it were to happen, the HD ReMIXs would have to go to PC as well.

Doubt it, because of those licensing issues that prevent downloadable versions of those games from happening. I dunno if that will ever be resolved in the foreseeable future.

There are always hard copies mate.

Didn't they say they're developing it on PC in the first place? But, even then, if they're using Unreal 4, it'd probably be a better port than the ones we've gotten out of Square. But, who knows? It sure would be nice though. It'd be easier on my wallet. >>

yeah, why on earth would a company want more people to be able to buy their products?

No need to be hostile, I just said I don't see it happening, Also, Square really doesn't seem to care about their fans, so I wouldn't be surprised if they skip out on a system.

Emulation requires a computer with at least 10x the original power of what your trying to emulate. There will probably never be an emulator for the PS4 or XBOX One. There isn't even one available for a 360 or PS3. We could all wish though, as I wouldn't mind making 2.5 HD Remix look even better. lol

^This. Great point.

does Square ever not have licensing issues with their stuff?

also what issues?

I can see it happening.

I'd be glad to fork over some cash to upgrade my PC (if necessary) and buy the game.

Probably. Can happen, there's a chance

I'm still surprised they brought it to Xbox One considering the 360 didn't get the 1.5 and 2.5 HD ReMiX's. PC is in the same place as the Xbox One since it didn't get the remasters, also PC gamers (in my experience) have never really liked games like Kingdom Hearts. Even more so after that bad FF XIII port to PC, which is only 720p btw.

that port hasn't made PC gamers hate KH. That port has made people hate the port of the game and square for letting something so bad get out.

Yeah, but it is made by the same company and some people are willing to jump to conclusions.
