how a kingdom hearts anniversary game could work

Posted

first i think you should be able to play as all sora's like kh1 sora , kh2 sora , data sora and ddd sora all with there own unique abilities and perspectives  second there should be a reasonable explanation for why there are so many sora's from different time lines next you should be able to add roxas and riku and play as then later in the game third the main antagonist should be someone other then xehanort i think we've had enough of him do you guys agree?

Just make a Warriors title for it. Literally, it'll take little to nothing for Square to get Koei Techmo to make the biggest cash grab for them. They have hundreds of characters to work with and people will literally empty their wallets for it (especially if they hit us with it before KH3). The added plus is you have not only KH originals and Disney characters to work with but people can play as some of their FF favorites. Warriors titles don't do too well on their own, but when you collaborate like Zelda and One Piece did and Dragon Quest is doing, you get thousands of fans from multiple fan bases at the foot of your doorstep.

I want that so bad

I always liked those sort of games

I liked the chinese style of the original warrior though. Guess I'm the only one ;D

How would a KH anniversary game work you ask?

I don't know, but screw that concept, give us KHIII already dammit.

I've never been a fan of the Chinese Dynasty history so Dynasty Warriors was unspoken to me. I just really loved the gameplay for those games and the fact that One Piece Pirate Warriors is working on the 3rd installment already and Hyrule Warriors is doing quite well now that it's out in all regions just screams for that formula to be used with more series. KH is a wonderful series that fits perfectly for that. Like I can see it looking amazing and they can do all sorts of things with all the different playable characters from Sora, Riku, and Kairi, to Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and even villains like Master Xehanort, Ansem, and Xemnas. Not to mention we could get Cloud, Leon, Sephiroth and many others in it as well.  Hitting us with it before KH3 is a wonderful idea and could work well considering KT would do all the work with some supervision from Nomura. Meaning Nomura can still keep up with his projects, as well as KH3 without having to stop any development on it.

There already is a KH anniversary game. It's called Dream Drop Distance.

^^This.

Though, I admit, they could go with OP's idea and have it fit in very easily.

Let's see... KH1 Sora, Data-Sora, Ventus, Roxas, KH2 Sora, and DDD Sora. There are your seven lights right there :P and because of time travel stuff, and the inevitable connection between Data-Sora and real Sora, Data-Sora can go back in time and pull all of the other Sora's to the present timeline for us to play as or add to our party.

Wanna have an easier one? Valor Form, Wisdom Form, Master Form, Limit Form, Final Form, Anti Form and Sora in KHIII. There you go XDMerman Sora, Vampire Sora, Santa Sora, Lion Sora, Retro Sora, Data Sora and KHIII Sora is another option :pI think the idea of playing with different characters would fit a lot when cooperating with Koei, especially since you wish sometimes if you could use all the abilities of a particular character. It also open doors for more characters that were never playable before, which is pretty interesting since RPG games can't afford to do that more often.
