Before I start, I didn't decide to make this thread to brag about my skills. Please, don't take it the wrong way. I am just making an assumption as to why you can see many people complaining how hard these bosses are and how it's easier to beat them.First of all, be ready before you are about to fight one of these two. Difficulty plays a big role as well. I played on Proud and I didn't have difficulty beating these bosses. Why? Well, while I have played a lot of Kingdom Hearts, what matters the most is that I visited the other worlds first. Which means, I leveled up a lot in any possible way, bought accessories etc. Oh, also using drives is a mechanic of the game. I didn't forget about that. And... Abilities, people. Unlock as many as you can and learn which are better to use AP on.Yeah, I know this thread is extremely short, but that's pretty much it. Have faith on what you can do and be always ready.

...which would only give you more incentive to use it. What in god's name are you even trying to argue?

that it's broken

that it's broken

Yes, we all know it's broken, that's why everyone (including the top players) uses it in the first place!

uh

yes

that's what I was arguing

I'm just saying, something's gotta be wrong here if you're saying that something, that even the best KH players use in their strategies, is game breaking.

Breaking away from the little argument above, I didn't have trouble with Demyx, but with Xaldin, that was a little different. I didn't know how to dodge most of Xaldin's attacks. Adding on the fact that I rarely leveled up my drives until Final Xemnas. Whoops.

Watching some YouTube videos helped as well. For example, I wouldn't have known to use thunder on Demyx when he uses the water walls to stun/break him.

I'm way better now.

Gotta say the only problem I had with Demyx was the part with the water clones because of the time limit but that's no big deal he's a little hit and miss just keep hitting him even when he knocks you back like I do and I just keep going in and when I get low on health hopefully Donald heals me and if not I heal myself also limits are good in this fight as well. (god data Demyx is gonna be a pain in the ass)

Xaldin all you really have to do is guard his attacks and get the learns and stock up until you have nine of them and use them all and then unleash your combos on him and when he dose his limit you could use Reflect to take no damage or you can go to a corner and maybe not take damage but if you really want to you could probably take the hit or if you are low on health while he is going you can heal yourself right before it hits you if you have Leaf Bracer on and not take damage and end up healing yourself.

That's basically how I fight these two bosses who in my opinion are not even that hard compared to some of the other bosses of this game.

I don't have trouble with them.

Well I certainly don't have a problem with them both now, but when I first played it i had no idea what to do with the Demyx's water clones and Xaldin's invincible attacks. That's pretty much the only real reason it may be hard for a person the first time around, once they know what's coming it's pretty easy.

For Xaldin, people didn't DODGE!

According to a certain someone, doing this would have been considered not playing the game correctly.

i wont deny they both gave me trouble on my first ever playthrouhh. took me getting a strategy guide toeven find lut how to beat demyx in the first fight im ashamed to say. And the fight with xaldin was the first time mickey had to come in and save mtyteams behinds. but once you get used to them, they arent that hard.

Let's face it people, the actual reason behind the complain of how hard Demyx and Xaldin are is because Demyx is the first organization member to fight on Sora's story and Xaldin's attacks are hard to avoid in a linear place.Besides, I am pretty sure that a lot of us, who never spoiled themselves, were expecting the second fight against Demyx to be similar to the first one with only water clones killing but surprisingly things were different.

Another thing is that Xaldin's moves are hard to guess on your first playthroughs, and since you're forced to guard his attacks to get the reaction command for breaking his winds, you will face a hard timing on beating him.
