Kingdom Hearts III as I'm sure you all know is the most anticipated title of the 21st century. After the second installment fans were eager to play the next game. It has however been delayed with filler titles and useless complications. Since it is already 2015 and Nomura has yet to create a single sketch for the game, it is safe to assume that it took over a decade to make KH3.

 

Let's look at what we know so far regarding a release date:

 

-Nomura has yet to create a single sketch for the game

-Square Enix doesn't give a firetruck

-Disney cringes at the words "Kingdom Hearts"

-Everyone has to pay $400 for a new console to play it

 

With all of this taken into consideration, I estimate a release date of never, neither side has the balls to work on such a project. If they do it will not come out until 2017.

Yes there is Kingom Hearts Birth By Sleep Volume 2, Kingdom Hearts 3D HD, Kingdom Hearts Re: Chi, plenty of games that aren't Kingdom Hearts 3 are to be made to follow the one "game" per year trend that Nomura doesn't have to abide by and can ignore at any time.

What is birth by sleep volume 2? 

Except failing to play or acknowledge the existence of any of those "filler" titles is really going to bite  people in the butt when KH3 does come out.

"Everyone has to play $400 for a new console to play it"? Not a whole lot of people shell out that kind of money for a single video game, and a lot of people are getting PS4s/XB1s for other games anyway.

Square Enix cares a great deal, KH is their second best selling franchise

FFXV is more anticipated than KHIII

of course the release is nearing the demo comes out in march the game is huge we have tons of trailers and info meanwhile we know next to nothing on kh3

And yeah... I rarely see Disney advertising Kingdom Hearts.. and also, thanks to Disney, many games, such as Dissidia: Kingdom Hearts were canceled while other normal games such as KH2 and BBS were censored.

It's not that square doesn't care, it's that Nomura had to do two things at once. They do care more about FF, but KH is still a big money maker for them when on console. As for disney... I've got nothing.

1- no, if they didn't care we wouldn't have gotten a new entry every year since 2008 and they wouldn't have been as consistently high quality as they are

2- I really doubt that 80% of KH fans are not planning on buying an xbox one or a ps4, and quite frankly if you don't have the system the game is for it's not liek you're OWED the game

1-We haven't been getting a new entry every year since 20082-I know some 80 fans already buying a PS4 or saving up for one to get KH3. They don't have most of the other games either.
