I'm sure they did, since that was half of the point.

Not really: All I ever heard people in Gamestop do is say how weird it looked, and that they didn't get the (cleaning up a direct quote from a man I overheard) "Motherf******g mouse with they god**** key thing".

I don't believe new fans were drawn in, but old are more likely to return for any new games.

Yeah, I imagine that was the point they made them for the first place. Plus anytime a KH game is on a new system it gets more fans.

I totally believe that 100%. I mean some people don't even have PS2s anymore, plus they're all on a single console. Not to mention it's Disney! There are tons of reasons!

I would think that it would bring in more fans. I mean it would bring me in, possibly.

i hope so am trying to get my sister into kh and gaming in general she dose not know English so i have to translate everything for her but i think she likes it

I would think so. I assume they're always gaining and losing some fans with every release, but hopefully re-releases didn't put too many people off.

If anything it probably got those who were too stubborn to play anything besides KH1 & KH2 to try more of the series they so desperately want to end.

I'm sure some new folk got into it though.

Even though I barely have any friends that know or even do care about the kingdom hearts series, I think the remasters are introducing the kingdom hearts series in a very good way.

Only those that watched the games online instead of playing them on PS2.

Kinda doubt it. Maybe a few, but not as many as they expect.

Yeah, im pretty sure, but.probably like 5% of the people who bought 1.5 are.new to the series

Definitely.

it makes the kingdom hearts series more accessible. Especially to new fans.

Probably xD

Well it's great for old school fans, but I don't see that many people buying the HD Collections :/

Well considering the fact that the collections are Ps3 exclusive I dunno how many new fans they got

I think since KH 3 IS MULTIPLATFORM that they should've released the collections on Ps3,Xbox 360 and Wii U so everyone can get a piece of the pie from the games they've missed in the series

I don't understand Nomura's logic.

Nomura:I want to bring KH fans to one console, hence why KH3 is also coming to Xbox One so f*** you Xbox fans you ain't gonna try the old games on your 360s

Not so sure about it... maybe a few, but not a lot. But I think that some old fans who had only played KH1&2 got a chance to get more into the series.
