ARE YOU FIRETRUCKING KIDDING ME NINTENDO?! GIVE THIS TO THE 3DS TOO, THE 3DS HAS NOTHING AS GREAT AS THE WII U TITLES EXCEPT FOR SMASH 3D! (Zelda U, Star Fox U, Smash U, Hyrule Warriors, etc.)

 

Seriously though, we need something amazing for the 3ds so Nintendo, if you're hearing this, then please consider releasing it for the 3ds so it won't forever be in the Wii U's shadow. I now you're trying to boost the sales, but to me the 3ds has been a bit neglected.

Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance

Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds

Pokemon: Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire

Paper Mario: Sticker Star

Fire Emblem: Awakening

 

And that's not even counting eShop games- and oh god, if you include the Virtual Console, holy balls, man.

 

Honestly, when has the Wii U not been in the 3DS' shadow? The Wii U has been lackluster in sales for a long time while the 3DS has thrived. The Wii U's biggest major games (Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros., Bayonetta 2) only just came out this year.

Mario Kart 8, Pikmin 3, Wind Waker HD, Game & Wario, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Super Mario 3D World, Shovel Knight, EarthBound (only way to get it without paying obscene amounts of money), and the 2015 lineup of Xenoblade Chronicles X, Star Fox, Zelda U, and Mario Maker... The Wii U has more than just Smash.

I don't really have a lot of games for the wii u. I think the only good games out their in my opinion is Smash brothers for wiiu and Wind Waker hd for this year.

well shovel knight isnt a wii u exclusive you know. ( i bought it, i honestly didn't like it very much)

not a huge fan on LOZ, DK and mario. Like i'd admit its fun, but i wouldn't put money on that. though i really love the mario & luigi rpg games

well i guess besides smash, Bayonetta 2 is pretty cool.

Speaking of Project X Zone, is that one any good? I wanted to get it since it has .Hack characters and I want to support anything that could remotely help that series get another shot, but I've heard mixed reviews on the game itself.

I know it's a crossover, but honestly, .Hack is the only game in it that I've even played (I've played classic Mega Man, but I still haven't played X. I know that's probably going to make people tell me I'm a horrible person or something, but it's true). Unless there's something else I don't know is in the game, anyway.

 

It's... Kind of alive in Japan. The most recent game was really just an Ultimate Ninja Storm reskin (.Hack was one of CC2's original projects) that, from what I understand, was more of a demo than anything else. It wasn't even sold on its own, just packaged with a movie. There's apparently also a mobile game that ties into the universe in some weird way, but I don't really count that since it's not a console/handheld game, and it's not even called a .Hack game.

As much i was really want to believe this, taking this with a grain of salt. Mother fans have a record of being dissapointed with this kind of stuff often. If this does turn out to be true though, i will definitely buy this Day 1, without a doubt. (too bad it couldnt come out earlier, since now no Lucas in Smash, but if this comes out at all, good enoughf or me).

 

Also, even though 3DS deserves this aswell, it does have a large library already.

The lack of Lucas in Smash is kind of making me think this is some sick joke. Why would they take him out if they planned to announce that his game was coming outside Japan a few months later? Lucas would be great for marketing EarthBound Forever.

This is not the place to have this argument; suffice to say, I believe Sticker Star is a flawed but very fun game. As a Kingdom Hearts fan, I'd think you can appreciate that sentiment.

 

Regardless, my point was the 3DS has tons of awesome games, and that's very true even if you disagree with some of my examples.

honestly the only reason I brought it up is because unlike your other games Sticker Star hasn't really been met with general acclaim, which I think makes it unfit for a generic recommendation of a "great" game

Like I personally don't like DDD, but as a rule most people do, so that works as a general recommendation

I just think it's an enjoyable yet underrated game, and it was one of the major reasons I bought a 3DS; in my mind at least, it certainly counts as "something amazing for the 3DS". In retrospect there are a lot of games (most of which I don't own, so they didn't occur to me) that would be better representative of awesome 3DS games.

Hey, I just look like that guy because I don't have a phone or tablet or anything of those high-tech things. (too expensive) I barely got a 3ds and Smash 3d, then they announce a new 3ds model and I see how awesome Smash U is. That just makes me jealous and mad because I can't even experience those great games.

I'm sorry for sounding like a complainer.
