.....is my theory. I mean his personality fits perfectly with the idea of being one of the 13 darkness'. I mean, when all the other org members were obedient little soldiers, he became so hearltes-...er, nobodyess that he was willing to take down everyone for no apparent reason. Whatsoever.

In that case, I'm sure Larxene will come back as one too.

But the whole thing is that he's against the Organization though, why would they want a traitor to join their ranks? Like the whole point is the darknesses are taken over by Xehanort, so obedience would be a positive, not a negative

Not a Darkness. Marluxia and Larxene are bound to be back as their Somebody's though, considering everyone else is (outside of the Norts).

I'd love if he came back because he's my favorite, but it just doesn't seem likely. If he does come back I'd be pretty shocked, but wouldn't mind to say the least

What if Larxene and Marluxia's original Somebodies help Sora and his friends defeat Master Xehanort?

I literally cannot imagine a world in which Marluxia is not a villain.

The four (being Demyx, Luxord, Marluxia, and Larxene) will probably become like the apprentices. Show up for a little then never appear again.

What bothers me is that Ienzo clearly knows what's up. Then he's silenced by Lea. Gee, thanks.

Ienzo and the other apprentices are more likely to return- they live in Radiant Garden, and I will be legitimately shocked if it doesn't show up in some way in KH3. It's been in damn near every KH game so far. But who the hell knows where the other guys are from? (I swear, if they ram them into more random Disney worlds like they did with Zach...)

No, see Xehanort was trying to conjur true darkness within the 13 vessels that is orgXIII. Marly and Larx both, in my opinion, displayed signs that they were ripe. Disobedience was the "test within the test".

Once they are ripe with darkness, Xehanort can control them anyways. So their opinions don't matter, once they're harvested they're under his power.

Except it was explicitly stated that MX can only use people who aren't too self-aware or rebellious.

I disagree with the no-apparent reason notion. He and Larxene wanted to upend the Organization because they were on the low end of the totem pole, with no real chance for advancement given the incredibly strict hierarchy. The desire to not be ordered around just because you became a Nobody in the wrong order is a pretty good motivation to try and change things around.

As for Marluxia being one of the XIII, I'm not seeing it if only for the reason that not only would Marluxia not really be game for joining up with the team and once again being in a state of complete powerlessness, but also because Xemnas probably isn't too happy with him for the aforementioned reasons.

seems like you're reading a bit far between the lines. We're never really given a clear cut reason WHY Marluxia betrays the Organization, which will probably be used for all its worth at SOME point in the story

I don't think it's reading too far into it at all: I'm just inferring things from what we already know about the characters and the things that they do. It doesn't need to be explicitly stated why they betrayed the Organization in order to draw a conclusion.

Also, I think their discontent with their rank can be deciphered from some of the journal entries in 358/2 Days. Larxene, for instance:

Ugh! How DARE they shut me out of monitoring the Keyblade master! And then tosend me off to teach that half-baked Nobody basic magic?!I should've had him light ME on fire.It won't be long now, though. Once I'm over at C.O., our plan goes into action. No more playing nanny. Ever.

When was this?

Xehanort cannot take down everyone from no apparent reason, this is totally wrong, because it was mentioned that he could only use people who aren't too self-aware.

In addition, Xemnas has mentioned that most of the organization XIII were useless and since Marluxia and Larxene were traitors, then they are from the people under the name "useless". Besides, you wouldn't except Marluxia and Larxene to serve MX after they betrayed Xemnas, would they?

and I wouldn't expect any of the organization XIII to join the new organization XIII, especially after they've been fooled by Xemnas about Kingdom Hearts. UNLESS, if they weren't self-aware.

I am a person who is also interested to see the history of Marluxia and the other three. In addition, to their next move after becoming somebodies. However,  making them join to the new organization XIII is totally ridiculous, especially since these four were the most useless members in the organization XIII.

It seems you've forgotten that Saix and Axel also planned to team up and run the show. Remember that whole ordeal about eliminating all people in castle oblivion, not just the traitors, was crucial (Pointing at Zexion's death here)? Yet there he is, Isa in all his glory, as a member of the 13 darkness'.

I could see MX using the darkness within Marly and Larx's somebodies to control them just like he's doing with Saix. And to your useless comment, I really don't see how that is so. Marly's power is right underneath Xemnas' (his final boss fight is proof).

But on a side note, I definitely want to know where the four org members at the end of the list came from. Maybe "cable town"? Who knows :P
