Sora96 17,256 Posted January 15, 2015 I've started the Bravely Default demo again to give the game another chance and I'm left wondering why the characters are so weak.
youyousuf 23 Posted January 15, 2015 I've also came to realize the same thing , the full game was way different, Bravely Default is absolutely my favorite RPG of the year! 1 GotMilk5101520 reacted to this

Sora96 17,256 Posted January 15, 2015 Because it's a very early stage in the game. You played it? I thought this demo was not in the actual game.

Arya Stark 1,337 Posted January 15, 2015 Huh, this is a weird game. It's just like FFD. I think FF5 had it too. Anyway, each job level gives a certain percentage stat increase. They also give abilities and stuff that help out a lot. 2 Cucco and Jilly Shears reacted to this

Arya Stark 1,337 Posted January 15, 2015 I can't remember. Maybe.
hatok 6,413 Posted January 15, 2015 just so you know, the rewards you get for beating everything in the demo are... really not worth it. Literally just equipment you can buy in the very first town
atheist123 583 Posted January 15, 2015 I think it depends on what dungeon you go into. Go into the dungeon on the West of the map first... The one in the South is ridiculous. I kinda liked how the demo was challenging. The characters are just a group of kids, so expecting them to easily defeat every monster is asking a bit much of them
DragonMaster 1,166 Posted January 15, 2015 From what I've read, the location of the demo is actually the second area of the game, but they didn't adjust the monster stats or difficulties. So basically the demo throws your starting level characters into an area where they should normally be a few levels higher. I believe that the content exclusive to the demo are the quests, story line, any party interactions (though I don't remember there being much), and possibly the NPC's (maybe just their dialog).
