How do you guys think Yen Sid is going to train them, to become masters?

Do you guys think he might use the same training method like King Mickey?

Or...

I was about to say the same training method like Sora and Riku (what they did in Dream Drop Distance), but I'm not too sure on that.

However they're trained, they will need to have really tough and quick training. They're gonna need to be buffed up keybladers to partake in the war.

Kairi and lea will probably train with each other. Lea crackin corny Joel's and Kairi talkin' about how she will now be "useful"... And it will probably be at Destiny Islands, awe yeah ... Or maybe Twilight Town

Edit : Ha, not even close to King Mickey's... Not even... CLOSE

I assume Lea was already trained in that magic time dimension he was in where he earned the keyblade in the first place

I think only Kairi wouldn't become Master, just full-fledged Keyblade Wielder. The reason is that she recently got a Keyblade in KHII which means that she barely have some experience of fightings, which also results that leaves her only to becoming a full-fledged level. Unlike Lea,he's already have a fighting experiences during his time on the Organization, which remarks that he might be a Master...

They'll probably train in Yen Sid's Hyperbolic Time Chamber, since there's no time for proper training before the Xehanort enters the final phase of his plan. because of this, I also don't think they'll have time for an MoM exam meaning neither will become Masters in KH III. Maybe at some point after, but not in that game.

It is not about knowing how to fight it's knowing how to use the keyblade. Riku and Sora were both excellent fighters but since they couldn't use its full power, they were retrained also kairi has had a keyblade longer than Lea.

That's the point. Knowing how to fight is also a part of knowing how to use the Keyblade well,or should I say both of those knowings are much like the same. Indeed,Kairi did get the Keyblade before Lea did,but it was her lack of fighting experiences will be her disadvantages. Even though both of them can make up for that by training that was given from Yen Sid,but time was not on their side as their training might not finish because of Xehanort's Seekers of Darkness's intervenes and other plans they have in mind. And for that, even if Kairi and Lea did made it in time for becoming a full-fledged Keyblade Wielders or Keyblade Masters,Nomura must have an idea for putting up with this. I'm fully respect for what he has in store...

Kairi is probably going to be more proficient in magic just like Aqua and Lea is probably going to be more proficient in strength/magic just like Terra

Kairi will probably mimic Sora's fighting style

That's what I was thinking with Kairi. Lea on the other hand, perhaps.

Well, this is a very curious thing to think about, something that can only be left to the imagination for now.  I'm sure that Yen Sid will have some special training in mind for them, and well, given the very brief time he has to train them, I assume he'll make them go through very, horribly, insanely hard training sessions in order to strengthen them up as fast as he can!  I wonder how Nomura will handle this. :3

Lea is already proficient with throwing attacks, thanks to chakrams, so I guess he'll have a pretty mean Fire Raid, so it shouldn't be too hard for him to become a master.

I'm not sure about Kairi. I don't think I've ever seen her fight, ever, haha.

I guess so. I don't how Lea is going to fight with a Keyblade. Maybe he might do something Fire Raid related.

But for Kairi, have you played Kingdom Hearts 2 or Final Mix 2? She was doing a little of fighting there with Riku (when he was Ansem or Heartless Xehanort).

It's been a while since I played 2. And I don't have the HD Final Mixes yet, because reasons. Well as long as she isn't a total noob to battle, she should be a fun character to play, haha.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Lots of magic, spinning the keyblade around to attack, fancy cartwheels, haha. I just had a thought: Do you think Lea and and Kairi will be able to use those "Attraction" attack thingys? I dont see a reason why they couldn't. Unless Soras going to hog all the good rides, leave everyone else with the lame teacup ride, haha.

To be completely honest, I'd rather not have Lea and Kairi become masters. I mean, doesn't it seem a bit fanservice too early for these two to become masters? I mean come on. Sora and Riku have years of experience as do the other masters, (yeah yeah I know that Sora isn't a master) But it would be downright outrageous if Lea and Kairi suddenly become masters only after a few weeks or so of experience. Yes, it could be lengthened to "months" but nonetheless, we can all agree here that all the other masters have far more skill than these two. It kind of breaks that whole glory of the "keyblade master" title if we have two rookies becoming masters within weeks of getting their keyblades. The "keyblade wielder" title has already lost its significance by all of these people suddenly getting keyblades. We don't need the title of master being ruined as well. In KH3, these two should just be normal keyblade wielders that help Sora and Co. find the missing lights. And now that Kairi has a keyblade, she can just defend herself properly.

But to play along with the post for the sake of the fun of it all, I think the two would probably go under intense training within Yen Sid's magical "pressure chamber" that Lea went through to get a keyblade. If it can turn a non wielder to a full fledged wielder then I think its got enough juice to at least boost them up a few tiers in power.

Attraction Flow? I don't know. I think it's all Sora and perhaps Riku. Or just Sora.

Well, the thing is, I don't think they have much time, due to Xehanort's scheming. So they might become Masters some kind of way. I don't how.

they don't have much time to do what?

I want to hear Kairi saying: "Yeah you kidnapped me once". Then Lea: "Really? Sorry".

sora and riku dont need to be trained or maybe if they do get trained the same way he trained mickey

or I mean kairi and lea

They don't have time for long length of training. I meant to say that. I don't really know.

Perhaps, now that DDD is out the way, we could just say that they are training like right now, and once 3 comes our way, they might be skilled to use the Keyblade.

I'm expecting him to apologize to her. lol No pressure. xD

What I  meant in my original comment was when I said "Yen Sid's magical 'pressure chamber'", I meant the same one that Axel used to get his keyblade. It's properties aren't well known yet, but we know for sure that it puts one through condensed training in a short amount of time that would usually take years to complete. So. Yeah. With Yen Sid, I guess you could say that they DO have enough time.

Oh.

I think that Lea and Kairi will become Keyblade Master since strength doesn't matter, is all about strength OF YOUR OWN HEART!!! you need to have super balance between light and dark in your heart (that going to be tricky for Kairi since she pure light and lea will be easiler for him) is not about strength of the power, why do you think Xehanort went to take Terra body instead of Aqua well is easy

- Terra have stronger body than Aqua

- Terra don't know how to control the darkness within him and Xehanort use that as an advantage!
