Alysa focused on gauging her surroundings. Unfortunately in the darkness that Aro had created it was quite a bit harder. But perhaps it would handicap the kid too. She stood ready after Zets' lunge, blood slowly leaking out of the fresh wound. She'd have to address that. But later. For now, the main concern was going to be not getting stabbed to death by psycho boy. The fencer closed her eyes. They were doing her no good anyway, and that would help her focus on the other senses. As she did so, Alysa heard the footsteps of her opponent. Her mind quickly flashed through her options, rolling to the side, sending a wave of destruction in his general direction. But she ended up waving her blade through the air and creating a wall in between her and Zets. She was beginning to feel a little drained, but she needed to keep going. If she fell now, there was no telling what would happen to her, even though she knew that she was inside a computer program. "Aro! He's in front of me somewhere, try and hit him! He's crazy, we have no choice!" She called to her partner.

AsherQ spoke. "Good, you made it. I was worried for a second there. I have some bad news about Nathan, or Vladimir as he calls himself. He was heavily damaged in the attack by the dolls and has since been corrupted. I've sent him to be with the other corrupted members so he doesn't infect you with it, and in time he may recover. Don't count on this necessarily being the last time you see him." Within the bunker the only sounds seemed to be the drips of water somewhere far off. It seemed like Asher was mostly safe here, but it was unlikely he was alone, for soon he could hear footsteps drawing closer. "This is however, a trial building, though, which means it has a guardian. Be ready." The footsteps drew closer and closer until at the end of the lengthy atrium hallway to the bunker a young man turned the corner. He was dressed in military uniform garb but his facial expression seemed the opposite of war-like; soft and emotive and with a sense of sadness pervading his features. He had no weapons about him, be them guns or knives. He looked at Asher from across the cold metal interior of the building. "Hi there. I'm Yven. I'm sure you've been through a lot to get here, would you like to rest for a bit? I figure you've earned if nothing else. Can I ask your name?"

"Asher Veran." Asher stood up.Would this man kill him?"Are you the guardian of this place?" He asked, standing up."My friend Nathan would have been able to come over here, but he wasn't able to make it." He said, looking at Yven."Am I the first person to see you? Or have you seen others....?" He asked cautiously.

Sora stood and clung to Kristy's arm as Aezral revealed herself. She hid a bit, keeping close to the only sort of real comfort she right now had.

Without a weapon, Sora was back to the terrified foxtmaid everyone knew.

"I've got an idea!" Aro shouted. It was risky, but it was something worth trying, just this once. Aro stepped up to Alysa and stood to her, back-to-back, "It's just me, just so you know. I want to be close for when I do something stupid."

Aro closed her eyes and stuck out her arms. She could feel the vibrations in her arms, the palpitations of her heart, the movement of matter as she molded what was usually her beam-like lasers into a large, white orb or energy that rumbled with a sort of frightening power as it hovered over them. One good thing was that provided was temporary light--but Aro didn't want that. She wanted what would happen when she released it.

And so she did. The orb burst, spreading out with a hundred beams of energy that shot in every direction. So much of the "ground" has been absorbed, leaving a deep, circular ditch around them. The beams left white trails that offered the remnants of light, but even that would soon disappear.

Nora walked into the room, her jaw dropping in utter awe. They were…in space. Space! Something that only a 2% of the population of earth would be able to accomplish. Yet here they were. Just another surprise that this city had come to show them. Tristan was equally in shock, hurrying over to the nearest window to look out. “No way! We aren’t dreaming, right?!” “I don’t think we are.” Nora murmured, her eyes narrowing down to the woman who called herself Azrael. They had a challenge to complete, didn’t they? A challenge that would make fighting the maurderers that were falling into the city an easier task…yet they were both far away from the city and the woman didn’t seem to want to fight. Nora moved her hands into her pockets, feeling the crystals that she had yet to even know how to use. She couldn’t help but to smile at Yuki’s comment, but went on regardless. “Right. One of us will eventually die, but we have to talk…what are we going to talk about exactly?” Nora asked.

"Hmm, a useful power you have there." He commented before descending the stairs with a calm run, as he did not panic nor worry even as he had to fight a Minotaur not 10 seconds prior. He stepped onto the ground and dashed with his Energy to keep up with Shade and slowed her down with a hand on her shoulder. "Don't run too far ahead, Shade! We'll need to stick together, should we wish to survive and remain a team. Because if you run too far again, I'm not following, understand?" Khan spoke with a stern, frank but calm tone, to make sure the girl got his point and took it seriously.

"Now, we must keep going." He said before walking south with her.

Shade stammered"Ah...I am sorry. I..well am not good with new things." She admitted shyly. "This place is filled with monsters and other such nonsense.......not everyone is very nice either. The people who live here....they have to attack us or maybe they want to..." She hung her head. A slight sigh left her lips. "But hey I have learned a part of my power." She looked around.

Of all the things Kristy thought she would never be able to go to, this was a major one.  Inside the room where Aezral awaited, the view of space could be seen.  Kristy shook her head in disbelief.  To her, space was freedom on a higher level.  But now was not a good time to be gawking.  There was trouble ahead of her.  Before addressing it, she looked to Sora who was terrified.  Placing a free hand on her shoulder, Kristy says:  "Hey.  Sora, you're going to be okay.  Nothing will happen to you.  You want to know why?  Because I'll make sure you'll be safe.  If there's anything you need, you can tell me.  And everyone else for that matter too.  Alright?"

In the whole cluster of events,Chester completely lost himself.First,a whole horde of dolls attacked, not leaving him much time to process what what was going on and giving him no other choice but to recklessly attack everything on sight. And not even 10 seconds later, gravity pinned him so hard to the ground,he hit his head in the process, leaving him even more disoriented than before.Fortunately, nobody was in danger anymore, but that coudn't stop the ringing in his ears which prevented other sounds coming in contact with his hearing.

But once the whole team entered the room where Aezral was, just like Nora, his jaw dropped as well, his eyes widening. The next thing he knew, his rather large nose and dark brown hair were glued to the glass of the same window Tristan had rushed to.His eyes coudn't stop staring into the multicoloured clouds accompanied with the billion diamonds that were the stars, together decorating the dark empty oblivion void of space itself.Right now,he didn't cared about the whole situation around him,nor the fact that he's pretty much deaf after the fall.He wished he could stay forever in this trance. He once again, bitterly wished he could have a tellephone or a camera to take pictures. To more pain,he wished his parents were still alive so they can witness this beauty or at least get told about it.And then, there was complete silence in the programmer's mind.

The whole euphoria was replaced with melancholy. It's been so long since Chester had learned how not to get overwhelmed with feelings, after his parents died in a car crash. He was taught to be a robot in his head so there wasn't anymore pain coming in.So,why was this happening now?He had no idea. His eyes once again fixed on the window."Why Am I even trying?"His lips mouthed these words.

-Khan Kazuma-

Khan sighed a little. "It's quite all right, Shade...we're both new here. Besides, I'll kill any Monsters that get in our way. As for people...depends if they're new residents like us or if they're psychos who lived here before us. I mean, come now, I think most would go insane within the week if not for our abilities and companions." He said, dismissing his Wrath Hammer and relaxing a little.

"Still, you and I can work together easily with our abilities and mutual desire to figure out what the hell is going on here." He added, looking around at the odd city...why did Q bring them here? And could he fulfil his desire to conquer using this city? He'd have to wait and see.

Shade looked back at him. "Now that we're alone...what's with your clothes? They look cool and all,but must be heavy and windy..." She looked away shyly. After all it was her first time really looking at how he was dressed. "This is starting to turn  into some strange rpg!" She said with a voice filled with awe. "It both scares me and makes me want to jump for joy." She looked back at him.

Maxwell entered the room and frowned as he looked at the windows, seeing as they were now in space didn't impress him, after all not much impressed him nowadays anyway, he stood silent as the others asked their questions, but some of them not doing so, and the only one who did ask was Yuki, and not exactly a good question, so he decided to step in.

Maxwell stepped in front of the group taking a few steps forward he faced Aezral at a distance of about 10 feet, with a hand on his sword, just in case, with a frown and a serious look and composure, he wasted no time, he looked Aezral straight in the eye  "What is yours and all other subjects connection with Q? you're not the first she sent us after, but the last one wasn't exactly willing to talk, so give us some information, why does Q want you dead?"

Maxwell asked with a strict and demanding tone, never losing the frown on his face, he didn't trust this woman one bit, he'd sooner just gut her and be done with it but then they wouldn't have a way of getting back to the city if he did.

"And in the case one of us dies as you said, how does one go about getting back to the city? I wonder, in the case we die you clearly don't need to get back but in the case we prevail what then? can't exactly fall from orbit." Maxwell added.

Sora slightly calmed down at the touch, but she only pressed closer to Kristy.

She felt so useless. She needed matter to make weapons, but her group could all manifest powers far beyond bullets and missiles...what good was she? Take away anything to convert, and...and she was nothing...

She felt so useless now.

"I'm useless...without anything to convert I can't help...and even if I did all I can make are guns...those are useless here..."

Firestorm~Sora slightly calmed down at the touch, but she only pressed closer to Kristy. She felt so useless. She needed matter to make weapons, but her group could all manifest powers far beyond bullets and missiles...what good was she? Take away anything to convert, and...and she was nothing...She felt so useless now."I'm useless...without anything to convert I can't help...and even if I did all I can make are guns...those are useless here..."

Yuki couldn't help it any longer. He sighed and crossed his arms. He just couldn't stand hearing Sora's words any longer. "Please Sora please....Stop saying that. It just bothers me when you say it. You aren't useless! You aren't weak! And you aren't pathetic! You are far more than that! If there's one word I could describe you with, it would be "Amazing"." Yuki said in a tone that made sure he meant every single word with his eyes closed. He took a deep breath, then opened his eyes to focus his attention on Aezral. "Now...Back to you....Say what you have to say or else the hair the goes blonde. You do not want to mess with me when my hair turns blonde." He said in a serious tone, already becoming impatient.

"Sora..."  As if by spontaneous instinct, Kristy wrapped her arms around Sora in a maternal manner.  She was put in a sort of melancholy state after hearing Sora say those things.  Trying to think of something to say for a few seconds, Kristy finally mentions:  "Sora, please.  Don't ever say those things.  Hearing you say all of that, it...it hurts so much."  Tears start dripping down from Kristy's eyes.  "He's right Sora. Everything Yuki just said is right.  Nothing that you just mentioned was true.  You are beyond any of that.  Listen to me here Sora.  We're going to be in a lot more situations in the future. Some of which only you can handle.  We're going to have a lot of problems. Some of them will be ones only you can answer.  And you might need your power to do that.  If you need stuff to convert, then ask me to find it.  Go ask Yuki to find it.  Heck, ask everyone with us to find it!  If we can't find anything, then we'll just make it.  All of us here will help each other out with anything one person needs.  So, please don't speak like that Sora.  Nobody feels okay from that kind of talk."

Firestorm~

The girl began shaming in the hug, then began to cry.

She felt so useless and even made Yuki mad with her need, and they kept on believing in her? H...how? How was it possible that anyone had this sort of compassion...that anyone could still believe in her.

Sora's fox ears laid flat, and she just held Kristy back. "...I'm sorry..." was all she said.

Asher

"You are the first I'm afraid." Yven let out a short, self-deprecating chuckle. "I don't have many visitors around here."

For a few seconds a stiff silence held between the two.

"You expect I'm going to try to kill you. That's what the trials all do right? I can't... I can't argue. You people being means one thing to all of us S3s; death. There's no reason for you to come here than to pass the trial and the passing of the trial means our death. Most of us take that as a threat and try to kill you." Yven produced a gun from a holster on his back. "This is the only weapon I've really got." He put it on the ground and slid it across the cold concrete towards Asher.

He took a few steps forward.

"Do you want to pass the trial, Asher?"

Khan and Shade

As the pair continued south the sight of smoke trail into the sky became clear, leading all the way up to a bright light as some far-off object flew further into the sky.

Much closer to them, however, was something even stranger.

Garish colors splotched along a strangely modeled building. The walls seemed warped, the shape seemed alien... and the entrance was a gigantic modeled head of a clown.

In the center of what seemed to be The City's park there lay a gigantic funhouse.

Q asserted what already was becoming clear. "So, just to point out, that's your next trial."

D3

As the light streaked out in various directions from the orb it threw the room into momentary visibility. In the flash Zets' location was revealed; direct ahead of Aro. The bright flash made him recoil and threw himself back with a cry.

"You... you stupid women! Damn it, damn it, damn it, damn it!" Zets cried out before lurching forward, unable to fully see by racing forward with a flurry of strikes flying about indiscriminately.

This was where this fight would end. One way or another.

Firestorm

"Look at you all." Aezral seemed to have a gentle smile on he wrinkled face it seemed... out of place. "Caring for one another. It's so very impressive. Yes, I am the inhabitant of this trial. Do not worry, if worst comes to worst this rocket shall have a safe, if... tense descent back to the City."

She took a few steps towards the group. In particular she had her eyes on Yuki.

"I do not wish to fight you. I brought you here to be out of their control. Q. The Doctor. They are fighting over matters which I cannot control. But I can at least bring you here to explain so much you do not understand. You have done well to make it this far, I must congratulate you."

She took another step towards Yuki.

"Especially you, my dear. You have been the heart of this group, have you not? Giving it so much encouragement throughout these dangerous times. But you do not belong with them."

She sighed and spun around to face the far off stars in the distance. "I am known as an S3. We are AI living inside this digital world we call the City. Each of us modeled in an attempt to replicate humanity. We were created by the one you call the Doctor. To create a being with the processing and large-scale power of an advanced computer and the creativity and understanding of a human being. Such a being could build a database of understanding that the world could use to pinpoint the cause of world hunger, the biological basis of cures for every disease, and the secrets to expanded space travel. It could even allow for better governments, stronger societies, and cultures that could simultaneously be the pinnacle of efficiency and human compassion."

She turned back and moved her hand to place it on Yuki's face, studying his features.

"But we were imperfect. Some of us were too aggressive, some too comical, some too thoughtful. We each took on elements of what it is to be human without ever truly reaching that state. We were each extreme. Look around you. I embrace adventure and thrill but I do not understand things such as love nor could I emotionally sympathize with many of your feelings. Some of us were more human, some of us less. Some of us were serious and hateful."

She looked directly into Yuki's eyes with what seemed to be pity.

"Some of us were carefree and kind."

Aezral took a step back.

"Yuki. You know there's no such thing as a Super Saiyan, right? It doesn't exist in the real world. It's an element of fiction. A person cannot truly be one."

The cold blackness of space outside felt crushing and oppressive for that moment.

"A being of artificial intelligence, however, can."

"Wait...What?" Yuki, shocked as ever, took a few steps back. What did this mean?....No....No, it couldn't be.....Somehow everything was coming together like a puzzle of what she was trying to say to him.

"A-...Are you saying....Are you telling me that....I'm one of you? That I'm an "S3"? That I'm....Not real?" Tears began to fill his eyes. "That...My memories of my past....My previous life....Were lies?....You mean....I was.....Created? Created for all of this!? That I was The Doctor's Creation!? That I'm one of YOU!!?" Yuki instantly went Super Saiyan, feeling anger, sadness, and some sort of betrayal at the same time. "I was.....Created....No...No, it can't be true!..." Yuki then went out of his transformed state, dropping his knees to the ground. "I'm...I'm a fake.....You said the City was digital...Meaning I only exist...If The City exists...." Yuki began to cry, tears fell to the ground knowing he was just....Nothing. How could he handle this? He always believed he had a previous life with a mother, father, and even a sister! But none of that was real....His memories weren't real...He wasn't real....He was....Created. His heart felt like nothing. ".....Damn...." Yuki was created by the Doctor. "But....I'm not part of any Trial...I was rebelling against my own kind to help them....I'm different from you. But....Still...." Tears were still falling to the floor. "I was created.....That word....Created....It feels like a dart stung my heart every time I hear that word now...."

Firestorm -

Maxwell kept his serious expression, although with doubt now, after hearing what Aezral said, about yuki being an artificial inteligence confused him, he could only look back as Yuki fell to his knees and started crying, Maxwell grit his teeth for a moment, he still had more questions though.

"What does Q stands to gain by getting rid of the S3s? and If yuki is one you, why has Q not ordered him killed?! and what exactly is our role in all of this? why does she needs US to kill them for her?" Maxwell asked one question after another at Aezral, hoping she'd answer, as he gripped his sword's handle tighter, he wanted answers, Aezral didn't want to fight, or so it seemed, so Maxwell would not attack, but he still needed answers to his questions.

Edited by Scrapmaster

Still having the hug, Kristy turned to look when Aezral started to speak.  Kristy couldn't believe what she heard.  Well actually, it's more like she didn't understand what she heard than believe it.  "Wait a minute.  You're saying that we're all in some kind of computer made world?  Also, all the people that we fought before were some kind of AI thing built by the Doctor, who we just met recently, and that Yuki is one of you?"  Kristy went to look at Yuki and saw he was crying.  "Aw, Yuki..." Kristy mumbled sadly and adds:  "I thought it was a little weird for a Saiyan to be here, but I figured it was nothing compared to what's been going on."

Alysa reacted as fast as she could, throwing herself in front of Aro and pushing her comrade away. She used her blade to parry away the reckless strikes of the child AI as best she could, but he was too fast with the dagger. She took numerous slashes, tearing through her armor like it was paper. Alysa was quickly regretting putting the energy into creating it. She was out of stamina to activate her ability, which meant that she was stuck playing defensively, attempting to use the skills she had mastered against an opponent in the dark. "Aro! I loved that last one, so if you could do something similar to knock him out while I keep him busy, that would be awesome!" She called to her teammate, continuing to tank hits. Every once in a while she managed to deflect a blow, but against an enemy so small, so quick, and completely sightless, there was little more she could do.

Sora looked up from Kristy's shoulder, eyes somewhat unfocused. But soon her pretty green orbs focused, and she looked upon the crying Yuki...and her heart broke. Here she was, a human, being so pathetic...and Yuki just learned he wasn't even real. He was an AI...and despite the fact Sora didn't want to leave Kristy's warm, safe embrace....she broke away from the other girl and threw her arms around Yuki, face buried in his shoulder.

"I don't are what you are. You believed in me when I doubted myself. You kept me close to Kristy...you made sure I never was defenseless, you healed me and kept me safe...I don't care if she says you're some AI and not real. You're my friend Yuki, even if you being a Saiyan was ridiculous to me. You were one of those there when I needed help. So no matter what, you're Yuki. So please, stop crying. I'm the emotionally unstable amnesiac...I'm the one supposed to cry all the time." And yes, she was crying. "You're the Super Saiyan...so please...don't cry...don't....cry...please."

-Khan Kazuma-

"My clothing? I recognize them along with my shape, voice and other factors as those of Mortal Kombat character, Shao Kahn. He is my most favoured character from that series and I suppose it has translated into my appearance here...not that I'm complaining." He said with a chuckle, noting mentally that he neglected to tell her that it may also reflect his own personality affinity with the Emperor of Outworld. He then looked up to see what appeared to be a very, very distant rocket, as a light heading further into the sky, leaving a smoke trail. "Hmm....maybe there are others after all...." Then looked ahead to see an outlandish structure, a...clown-headed place...a Funhouse, as Q told them that their next trial laid within.

"Well then....let us not waste any time." He looked to Shade. "Are you ready?"

"S-Sora..." Yuki didn't know what else to say.....Her words really meant something to him. He wiped away his tears and couldn't help, but hug Sora back, with one more tear rolling down his face. "Sora....Thank you...Thank you. I'm glad.....That we are friends....True friends....We're always there for each other no matter what....Thank you." Yuki really embraced this hug. He wanted to make this moment last. He closed his eyes....And smiled.

Nora couldn't help but to grip her paintbrush tightly as she heard the explanation. It was obvious from the beginning that this wasn't the reality they had all originated from, yet the fact that all of this was a computer program never crossed her mind. It was never magic after all...just data and programming that could be changed all by the click of a mouse. "This...is all like a game, basically?" Nora asked, almost horrified. How was this even possible, to be inside the program as it is?! Even if they were...the situations, the pain, everything was so real. How? Why?...could they even die? Even as their bodies reacted just as they would normally, with the fight or flight response? "You mean all of this time we've just been messing against programs..." Nora felt pity for Yuki, but she was so confused at the moment, she needed some answers. Following Maxwell's questions, she took a step forward to ask as well. "This is all program, and because the AIs became too drastic, they send us, who have nothing to do with any of this, to eliminate the problem...why?!" Nora asked, obviously upset. "All of this, what was the meaning of getting any of us involved or trapped in here?!"
