Playing KHHD2.5 On SDTV? Will Some Of The Screen Fit?

Posted

Planning on getting KHHD2.5 in a few weeks and will play the game on my SDTV like all my other games but will the screen fit to where it's playable? I'm used to some of the screen cut off for most games and I'm wondering if the screen will fit for this game to where it is playable?

2.5 has an option to change your screen size manually when you boot up the game I believe, it should be fine to fit your tv as long as your adjust in game correctly.

I used a tiny CRTV to play 1.5 once. It was bad quality, but it worked nonetheless. xD

Peace!

Didn't they stop making those like five years ago?

Well not everyone can afford to buy a new TV, as we are all not rich like some people here, that's why my mother doesn't have an HDTV in her room.

Yeah some people are kind of inconsiderate. You should be fine though.

I believe he's talking about the curved TV. Although that would be UDTV...hmmm...come to think of it, I'm not sure what I'm talking about anymore.

there's an option in the ps3 system settings and it let's you change the quality setting. 480p is usually the standard quality for regular tvs

I just recently got an HDTV late last year and I think it's the other way around. KH1.5 won't look quite as crisp on an SDTV as it would on an HDTV, but it won't look terrible, either. By contrast, try playing a PS2 game on an HDTV and it looks like absolute crap. No wonder they release HD collections now. (Aside from the obvious money-making aspect)

Not to mention, but, they give you a screen adjustment option on the game select screen, anyway.

...if you can afford a PS3 (or any modern game system), I'd wager you can afford to buy a HDTV within an affordable range (admittedly not something very large or "OMG SUPER ULTRA 4K", but whatever). Just look or ask around.
