Guess I'll use this for a second..

I don't hate a lot of things but one thing I really do hate is getting told I'd be a better S.O. by my friends if I didn't act so smart and cuss so much as I do because truth be told, I've got the mouth of a sailor but I spend most of my time reading or working.

Like geeze, I wasn't aware that my relationship involved more than 2 people who felt the need to comment on stuff that doesn't involve them.  >:(

I can't believe they don't sell pre-peeled grapes. legit pissed, it's a million dollar idea

I'm assuming it has something to do with the fruit rotting too fast to package and being too expensive if you remove it's skin, not to mention how fragile a bag of squishy skinless grapes would be. Plus, edible skin on fruits have tons of nutrients and minerals that give the fruit a lot of their nutritional value, so you'd be missing out on a lot good stuff if you bought pre-peeled grapes.

This is something that really bothered me about the kingdom hearts series fanbase:

I don't really get why people complain about button mashers in the kingdom hearts series. I mean seriously. I can understand if some of the kingdom hearts games have an online mode that lets you fight other people as kingdom hearts characters, but that's NOT the case. If some people are button mashers, there're button mashers. There's nothing you can do about them.

It's more a complaint that the games are too easy. What most people mean when they say button mashing is all you have to to to win fights is rapidly press X or Triangle or whatever other buttons on handhelds.

It's not a complaint I really agree with; if you play most any KH game and just try to button mash, you won't get very far. There are things that should require more timing, like Reaction Commands on KH2 or blocking in general in BBS and DDD, but overall I've never felt the games have been at all suited to plain button mashing (just look at DSP).

I don't really agree with it too because of the things you pointed out. If there was a video game that was button mashable, I would probably think for it as a broken game because most RPG's these days have to have some sort of strategy whether it's a little bit or a lot of strategy.

Edit; Maybe i shouldn't rant about this kind of thing...i guess finding a lot of people i don't have much in common with does that to me, or something? :<

....

WHY do i go on a video game forum, when violence upsets me so much, EVEN IN FICTION? Its only making me feel depressed, and think poorly of nice people when i see they like all this violence junk. Sorry to call it that...

Might as well post how i really feel about all that. I don't want to think I have to like violent things to be a nice person, either...*sigh*

Edit; i had to make it clear that i didn't mean to hurt any feelings with this post, but this is the ranting thread, i guess...

How do you equate going on a video game forum with liking violence? I thought it was only middle-aged politicians and soccer moms who assume all video games are inherently violent. Unless you're talking about Mario jumping on turtles. Even Tetris explodes blocks. If that's the case I can't help you there. And I have no idea where you get the notion that being a nice person involves liking violence. Like. I literally don't understand the connection. It's like saying "I like blue curtains" has any relation to "I don't believe the sky is falling down."

I guess cuz it seems like every nice person i meet plays violent video games, THEN says people who don't, aren't very nice....or something. It really confuses and bothers me. I'm not even a big fan of video games, i mainly like kingdom hearts cuz of riku, too. I prefer stuff like flowers. The thought that being myself would lead me to hurting others completely horrifies me. I care about the well being of others A LOT. the thought of hurting them makes me just want to hurt.. myself...

BTW, i suppose mario and tetris aren't THAT violent...i guess. I mean, yeah, i don't think the turtles really 'die' when mario jumps on them. But maybe people still like to think they do, i duno....never met anyone who just played games like tetris, but maybe i need to find a tetris forum? i duno...o.O;;;

If you're gonna complain about how stupid other people are because they don't know certain things, don't behave in the best ways, or don't care about the same things you do, then maybe you should think about the things you might not know that someone else thinks is common sense, the ways you've behaved that might not have been the best, or the things you don't care about that someone else might think is important. It feels great to dismiss humanity as full of idiots when you get to pretend you're not part of them because of so-and-so traits.

Apparently, I've offended someone by telling them that I don't like them.  Those words exact and precise.  And technically speaking, I do like that person, but apparently the jovial demeanor was high above their heads.

And if my not liking them offends them (enough to report me), well, let's just say that I don't like them anymore.   :)

So I have 2 exams to do in July. One of them oon the 22nd, and the other on the 24th.

I received a call earlier from the school saying that the exams have been altered, and asked me if I knew about this. I didn't know about this, since I didn't receive an e-mail about it.

Here's the thing: The teachers were supposed to send the e-mail, and they didn't. Worst of all, one of them wanted the exam to be tommorrow. That b*** wanted to cut a whole month of studies, so that she could go on vacations earlier.
