  1. 1. Do you think the traditional save points will be incorporated in future Kingdom Hearts games?

    • Yeah as they are helpful before big battles and are also used for traveling to other worlds.

    • Yeah: I'm not that bothered but that's how it's always been.

    • Not sure if I'd prefer auto-save or save points.

    • With the PS4 (& Xbox One), auto-save will help players get more involved in the game/story.

of course they woud be. Kingdom hearts without save points is like pizza without the crust. Save points help the player out to transport to the gummi ship to go to different worlds or save before a boss, or if you have to go somewhere immediately. Save points have to be in KH3

I don't see why they shouldn't be. I really wouldn't like an auto-save feature in a Kingdom Hearts game.

Save points are a good indicator that there is a boss ahead or a place where you can get a break. And think, it makes it much easier to traverse in and out of worlds. Without 'em, I'd feel lost.

We still need world exits.  It would be nice if a quick save option was added to the pause menu, though.

I definitely think they'll be in the game, and I'll be surprised if they're not. It's extremely common for Square's RPG's to have save points, and as far as I'm concerned it's pretty much a feature for most Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts games.

Plus, I like the save point system. I feel like it keeps you from feeling the need to save constantly, and helps you stay invested in the game, rather than thinking of the need to save all the time. It can be inconvenient at times, but in the longrun, I personally have grown to like save points.

Not sure.  Looking for a save point can be aggravating though.

Yeah, why not? It'd be kinda weird if they weren't...

Peace!

Save points are a staple in the Kingdom Hearts series and have been for every single game that has been released these past 13 Years.

They're not going away any time soon and I'd be VERY surprised if KH3 didn't have them present.

I wouldn't mind having save points and menu savings at the same time.

But if I had to choose I'd choose menu savings.

Of course they will. They serve as world exits and it kind of feels like there being random, glowing puddles on the ground is canon within the story. I like to think that they're actually leftover Lux from Kingdom Hearts connecting the worlds perhaps even the point from which the new worlds originated, just like I like to think that the tree marks in the first game where left beind by Mickey to teach Sora, Donald and Goofy how to work together as a team, but that's unrelated.

Fun fact: In Chrono Trigger, you can even fight save points as enemies. Like, they literally say Save Point on their Bestiary Files. No joke.

Save points in the Kingdom Hearts series are as iconic as anything else the games have!  That classical and pleasant little sound that plays when approaching a save point is music to my ears! :3  I'm sure that save points will be present in Kingdom Hearts III, no doubt about it! :D

Save points just are. It wouldn't feel right without them.

In the KH series, I feel that Autosave doesn't have a place. I mean, I like being able to have saves without worrying about one of them being automatically overwritten.

Sounds helpful,so yeah, I don't mind if they intend to put both traditional save points and auto-save points at once... :)

Don't fix what ain't broke.

I can't see it being changed this late in the game.

I hope so, just because sometimes you make bad sale decisions or lose certain abilities and want to reload before that point. Plus it's good to have a little punishment if you fail to save. .. plus you never know when it will loop you through impossible situations.

Oh yeah, I think they will. SQEX will not get rid of those ever.
