Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ announced for overseas release with English trailer, a free-to-play title for iPhone, iPad & Android

Following last month's announcement of an upcoming Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] port for smartphones, Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ for iOS and Android, Square Enix has today officially announced at their E3 2015 press conference that Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ will also be releasing overseas!

 

Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ will be coming to both the iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android platforms. Square Enix has provided the following description of the new title:

Based on the Japan-exclusive PC browser game of the same name, KINGDOM HEARTS Unchained χ (read as Unchained “Key”), allows players to create their own keyblade wielder who harnesses his or her own keyblade to combat enemies across the beloved worlds of Disney. In the game, players will uncover story elements from the earliest parts of the series’ history, as well as the highly-anticipated, upcoming KINGDOM HEARTS III title.

Anguis is the snake, Slytherin is a snake. Also, Unicorns are associated with purity and light while snakes represent treachery and deceit, so there's that.I'm betting it's whatever Union Ephemera belongs to. Gahh, I can't wait to play this game!  Unraveling the story of the Foretellers shall be such a treat, and playing with others online will be awesome, of that much I'm sure! And I wonder what things regarding Kingdom Hearts III will be revealed in Unchained Key?

Since it's F2P, I wouldn't be hardly surprised if there's some type of gambling system involving In-App Purchases, ala Brave Frontier.

 

I just hope it'll turn out different.

 

Edit: Going back to this, I have NO IDEA on how this game works at all, and really I'm just unknowingly pouring naughty-worded stuff out of my butt. I have closed myself off from all Chi info to ensure the hype is worth it in he end.

 

But seriously tho, how will the F2P model turn out.

If it's anything like Chi's F2P model, you'll be buying the chance to get SR+ cards (Chi's Raise Draw), reset gems, rare Key Art/Scene cards, (mega) potions/ethers, and cool costumes (stuff from the Shop).
