There will always be shipping wars. It is inevitable.

 

I myself like Sora x Riku, Sora x Roxas, Riku x Roxas, Aqua x Ventus, Ventus x Vanitas, Axel x Roxas and Roxas x Xion. (A little bit of Sora x Aqua as well. )

 

But in any case, there will always be a difference of opinion, regardless of the canon.

I don't see how this will prevent shipping wars, people are all going to have different tastes. For me, I tend to just stick with the basics: Sora x Kairi, Roxas x Namine, Riku x Xion, Mickey x Minnie, Donald x Daisy, that kind of stuff. I would ship Terra and Aqua if it weren't for the fact that they just come off too much like brother and sister to me. Also, Goofy and Lea, forever alone, lol. X)"

All of those ships are dumb. Everyone knows Aqua and Phil is the real best pairing.
