After doing a few small comparisons i hope they're capable in getting it to look a little more like the movie. It looks far brighter and Sora looks a little to glossy for his own good.

It was actually hard for some people to see the difference between it and Hercules at first.

It looks like the lightning is the main thing that needs to be improved here.I found the lightning of the movie amazing, very soft and vibrant and i really hope they're able replicate it the best they can.

Well keep in mind this is VERY early stuff, this is our first time actually seeing things on the new engine. It's already stunning as it is now, so odds are it will look GORGEOUS by the time we get the next trailer. Don't worry, most of this lighting and environment and character stuff will be taken care of in time, it's not permanent.

Yeah the game is a long ways off so there's no point in worrying about this now but i just hope the hardware is capable in getting the lightning close to the film.

I think Nomura said something about how he hadn't had the look quite down yet, so I don't know

Oh don't worry!

i'm sure when the final parts are done, everything will be properly fixed :)

plus i think it depends on what time of the day the part of the movie was taken i dunno

Flynn did say it was 8 in the morning or something lol xD

They are getting the people who worked on the movie.

I'd love to see somebody make a gallery of similar-looking camera angles or shots compared between the KH games and the movies the respective worlds are based off of.

Oh i hope they add a boss fight in that lantern scene.Having a boss fight with Sora walking/sliding on water with the lanterns surrounding him seems so visually awesome.

So long as we're being picky here...

The tower in the film is up higher, and not on fully flat land like in the trailer, plus the mountain walls are different.

The ivy's also less dense, and a brighter green.

It's like Sora's hands get bigger with each major game .-.

Some of the trees and bushes would naturally have to be removed to make space for Heartless to appear.

They really did take off most of the forest-y setting that was in the movie.

Hmm i'm starting to wonder if all or at least most of the worlds in KH3 will be the ones that were in the cancelled Fragmented Keys game...

How is sora going to get to the top of the tower? I know! Climb up Rapunzel's hair of course!

Needs more frying pans

They're finished with the foundation of the game as is. Now they're going in and adding more detail to the world's. I'm sure the lighting will be fixed when the game is finished.

At the end of the day, you're comparing Movie visuals against real-time gaming engine visuals. Of course, the original Tangled movie would look more polished.

I am pretty sure that all these details will be fixed when the game is released, keep in mind that the game is still under development and all what you have seen will be shown in a better way in future so no worries :D

I hope we have a battle against the Stabbington Brothers.

I know it's a little unfair to compare a game to a cgi movie, especially one that's not even close to releasing. But seeing Tangled is one of my favorite Disney movies i couldn't help being a little picky on the visuals.
