A specific plot point in Square's Final Fantasy VII game spawned countless fan art and cosplay. In the game, Cloud and Aeris resolve to save Tifa after she takes it upon herself to impress local crime lord Don Corneo. Cloud must acquire the the very best wig, dress, and other accessories to ensure that he's chosen to spend an evening with Corneo instead of Tifa. The event is one of the comedic side plots as Cloud mingles in a sauna with macho men who refer to themselves as "Daddy," finds a suggestive dungeon, and a censored room in the mansion that causes him to faint.

When the HD remake was announced at E3 this week, fans first expressed excitement followed by questions of whether cross-dressing Cloud would make the cut. Remake director Tetsuya Nomura has put fans at ease. At E3, Eurogamer's Aoife Wilson asked Nomura about Cloud wearing a dress in the remake. Nomura responded, "Please look forward to it."

I loved this part of the game It was hilarious and so creepy, not to mention VERY suggestive. I also recall Cloud being chased around by some dudes who ended up getting sliced. Also Tifa threatened to rip off the dude's "thingie". Ahhh good times...

But yeah with all these 'mature references', FFVII possibly might get its rating changed.

M rating for sure. This game has a lot of dark themes and a lot of "interesting" themes/

 

I really hope they keep the humour in this game in other aspects too. Looking forward to seeing a beautiful Cloud
