I guess this goes for any of the Disney characters that appear in KHX. Like, this game takes place before the Keyblade war, right? And here in the trailers we're seeing Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Aladdin, and others too I think. And Xehanort speaks of this event as if it was centuries before he was born or something. Just how old *are* the Disney characters? O_o

The Keyblade Wielders in X are visiting the worlds with the power of the Books of Prophecy.

 

It isn't like the disney worlds in X are in the timeline centuries ago, the keyblade wielders are travelling through illusions created by the Book of Prophecies.

Donald is 81 years old and Goofy is 83 years old .

Freaking time travel. It always messes up plot.

Disney characters don't age (with some exceptions) but if we said that they would, then they would be actually older than Master Xehanort.

The Tome of Prophecy has the ability to project worlds from the future and these worlds are projections. The foretellers did that bc their world was too big to collect enough light aka lux so they called forth smaller worlds from the future..Not everything we see there is from the past.

And not only that, but the entire world of Chi X  seems to be caught in a dream. ( Because of the Chirithy Dreameater) So really, those Worlds are Illusions within an Illusion?

Not necessarily the Chirithy exist outside of the illusions. Only the Disney worlds are illusions Daybreak Town is not which is why it acts as their base of operations. The Chirithy seem to be able to exist outside the Realm of Sleep.
