WHO'S READY TO BECOME THE BATMAN!?

Featured Replies

YES, I HAVE PREORDERED, BUT I DON'T KNOW WHEN IT COMES TO ME

I'm ready to watch somebody else become the Batman since I can't get the game... and I don't have a PS4... *sniff*

Don't get this on PC, they didn't send out review codes, which almost always means it's a bad port

I AM VERY VERY EXCITED DESPITE NOT HAVING ANY HARDWARE THAT CAN RUN IT, ARKHAM KNIGHT IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST REASONS I'M GETTING A NEW CONSOLE THIS YEAR

You definitely shouldn't get it day one because most PC ports need to be patched just after release (same with consoles these days to be fair) but every other Arkham game works perfectly fine on PC- if there are initial problems with the game, they'll likely be smoothed out before long.

for the best batman experience just beat up every thug while yelling stuff.

it's up to you to come up with one-liners since batman refuses to

the last thing I heard about Arkham optimization was whichever one had the Mr. Freeze DLC, because WB said they were to busy working on the DLC to fix all the game breaking bugs the game launched with

the same would definitely happen here

Am I the only one here who didn't play City and Origins and only played Asylum? Besides, I didn't get a PS4 yet to even experience Knight XDI know, my situation is fusty xD but soon enough I will finish City and Origins since I already have them on my playing list of this summer.

I would be if I had the console for it. (or a good enough PC)

I'm watching the countdown on my PS4 right now since it was way cheaper to get the game with the season pass digitally and I'll be able to play it at 11 my time which is perfect because that's when I'll get back from my job I can't wait

Nice. I will be getting the game at my local GameStop at midnight (:

You should totally play Arkham City. It is the best game in the Arkham series. As for Origins, it's more or less a copy paste of Arkham City, but it's still pretty good.

*Sees title of thread. Song lyric pops up in response.* "the conversion has already begun..."

I'm playing it already and it makes so much fun.

You're talking about Origins, and I played that entire game start-to-finish on PC with no game breaking bugs of any kind. I'm speaking from personal experience when I say that every Arkham game so far has had fantastic ports; there's no real reason to expect Arkham Knight to be any different, unless you just like to pointlessly speculate.

Also worth noting that Origins was developed by WB Montreal, not Rocksteady, and they really didn't do a good job with it, so even if Origins had bugs that I just never encountered, it's still safe to expect Knight to have better QA.

well we didn't have to wait long to find out, the game's out now and reprots are already coming in say the PC port is garbage. Locked at 30 FPS, for example

You may recall me saying that you shouldn't buy any PC game day one for exactly that reason. Making huge open world games work on multiple platforms is hard, give it a couple weeks, odds are good they'll address most if not all issues (also a person would have to be pretty entitled to consider 30 fps "game breaking").

I'm EXTREMELY excited. Getting my copy today.
