A lot of that time they say "nothing" not "nothingness"

so then it sounds REALLY silly

the quote I'm currently hung up on is

"Embrace... nothing"

did nobody stop to think about how dumb that sounds?

I actually agree, though I hadn't noticed how silly it sounded until I saw the opening of 358/2 Days "Through power over nothing he seeks power of everything."

 

That just sounds like he doesn't have power over anything at all. I know in the context of Kingdom Hearts that's not what it means, but to an outsider that's kinda how it sounds. It even sounds more silly when you take into consideration that he's supposed to be one of the, if not the most powerful being in the KH universe.
