Have you tried to make sea-salt ice cream?

 

I made it for Easter once. Everyone liked it.

I did make it once. It turned out quite nicely, especially considering that I had never made ice cream before, and I did a little... improvisation. See, I didn't have some of the ingredients (heavy cream I know I didn't have, though I feel like there was something else as well) and I couldn't drive at the time, so I looked up substitutes (butter and milk mixture for the cream). It ended up not being super creamy (actually, more akin to what it is in the games, judging by the sound it makes when bitten), but tasted really good. Basically vanilla with saltiness.

 

Due to my inexperience, though, the whole process took like 5 hours. Which is why I haven't tried making it again.

It came out best when I made it with a friend who had an ice cream maker. When I made it another time with a different friend entirely from scratch, it was kind of awkward lol. 

 

It's been quite a few years since I've tried so I'd love to do it again.

Making ice cream is too much work.Only way I'm geing to taste sea salt ice cream is if they start selling it in stores. (Which they should, KH fans would be all over it. They'd just have to make it blue. lol)
