why did everyone expect a trailer...

Posted

i mean they never said that they where going to show one, all they said was the will be announcing a new world soon, that could have been just an image or in a interview.

In this situation, didn't hurt too much to be hopeful.

They said that they have something to announce not specifically a world and when you announce something for a game for while at an event, a trailer usually comes along with it.

Because we want one  :( I guess we hyped us too much, they're not to blame.

Yeah but there was a lot of hype built....Personally I just try not to have much expectations so you can't end up disappointed...

There was no KH3 at TGS or Jump Festa

I think the news was fine, and while it wasn't a gameplay trailer, we did get a trailer with that dude talking about the movie and the world! So it's not like we didn't get anything today, and I think we should just be thankful we got something at all today!

no they said they where going but they ended up showing the same trailer and/or just a interview

Honestly, I have no idea.

We got a very good and lengthy one at E3, I think we can wait a few more months personally. I believe Big Hero 6 World confirmation and Keyblade Transformation stuff is enough for now, especially since KH3 is close, but not so close to warrant such a quick and large amount of information. E3 wasn't that long ago, you know.

I didn't bother calling it because I knew people would oppose me with the usual: "Oh stop being a pessimist!" "Stop ruining the Hype!"

Well, guess what? The Hype has been ruined. Not by Square, not by Disney or by Roy.

But by you. That's what happens when you overhype. xD

u ain't getting that til u get it, in other words NEVER

I'm actually very disappointed. Whilst you could say that I shouldn't have hyped myself up, Nomura said there was a TON of footage that hadn't been used at E3, and that he couldn't wait to show it at D23. Yet, here we are, with a world announcement but no gameplay.

I was ecpecting characters; A new world announcement is great but still.

I guess we will have to see them in a story trailer.

Dang it.

Mmmm- if I'm disappointed about anything, it's not getting a release date yet. With it, I'll actually know when to buy my PS4, and how long I'll have to actually learn how to work the thing, before the game comes out. xD

lol i know that pain

I know, but that doesn't change the fact that SE were hyping it up a lot. Yet, all we got was a 1 minute and a half video of Roy Conli talking about how excited he was to be putting BH6 in KH3. TBH, I have no hype for the next D23. This event absolutely killed it. We got information that I'm pretty sure we already knew, that each keyblade has their own transformation. Whilst I'm excited for BH6, we could've at least seen some footage of the world in action rather than nothing.Think about it. An entire event that is one hour long and is dedicated to three games would have you believe that we were in for a TON of information. But all we got was a 1 minute and a half interview of Roy Conli, which was pretty much the same as his E3 interview. Very disappointed. Sigh.
