Posted August 22, 201510 yr See, my B-day (Oct. 18th) falls on a Sunday. Now, people in my area are HEAVILLY christian. I'm worried that I won't be able to hold my birthday anywhere because the entire population is at Church.
August 22, 201510 yr Of it really is a problem for you, you can always have a party the day before. I mean, I'm sure you've had birthdays on a Sunday before at least once. I don't know how much a birthday means to you, but it's just kinda meh for me. I mean, mine was slap bang in the middle of exams this year so I didn't do anything really. It's only a birthday

And that's only if it's actually a problem, which I doubt it would be. Don't worry about it.
August 22, 201510 yr It's a bummer when the day your birthday falls on conflicts with other people's schedules. I know how that feels, having a birthday in mid-December everyone's always studying for finals, so I rarely get to celebrate the day of. So much sympathies I can totally relate. You could always reschedule it to another day? Like perhaps the day before. I know it's not the same as celebrating on the actual day, but that might be a nice alternative around your birthday falling on a Sunday.
August 22, 201510 yr In my experience, most people go to church on Sunday morning. Anything after 1PM shouldn't be a conflict. And if it makes you feel better, my birthday (a week before yours) is also on a Sunday. Last year my birthday was the same day as Homecoming. I pretty much sat around my room all day.
August 22, 201510 yr Well, what you should do is invite all the people you want to invite for a birthday party the day before your birthday! By doing this, you can get the festivities under way, and everyone, especially you, can have a good time!
August 22, 201510 yr It's probably better that your birthday falls on a Sunday rather than a weekday, because then people may be at work or in class which would be an even greater problem. I'd try to schedule all celebrations after church, if at all possible, or possibly the day prior. Sure, it wouldn't be on your birthday, but it'd be relatively close and then you can celebrate as you'd like. : ) Good luck, and hope you have a great birthday!
August 22, 201510 yr I don't think I had that type of problem, with my birthday before. I do understand people goes to church, and when they get out, sometimes they would go out to eat. And some of the places we go, are freaking crowded. IHOP, Chinese restaurants, etc. Just crowded city! Only experience with my birthday I had, is when it's on a school/college day. So my mom one time plan to do something to celebrate my birthday on a Saturday, at my aunt's house. Didn't expect it to be a "themed" birthday party. You could just do it before Sunday or I guess at a really good time on Sunday?
