Radiant Garden- Keyblade Academy

Ordinarily, the Radiant Garden Keyblade Academy was rather quiet, at least by the standards of a school. Not much happened, and it was rare for any sort of exciting events to happen in the years of peace that the world had experienced. However, on this particular day, that was about to change. The Masters of the Keyblade Academy were about to send a group of students off on what would be the most important journey since the one taken by Master Sora and his friends in the past. The previous day, almost 20 students had received letters from Master Sora. Each letter shared the same message, though with slight alterations to include the name of its recipient:

Dear (Student),

Hello, this is Master Sora. I would like to let you know that you have been selected to participate in a very important mission. This journey could take a short time, or many months. I apologize if this interferes with your busy schedule, but you will be excused from all missed lessons during this time period. I would like you to convene just outside the Academy tomorrow at noon, by the fountain. You will receive further instructions at that time. I wish you and your fellow companions the best of luck on this journey!

Sincerely, Master Sora

This particular letter and mission were unknown to those who were not participating, unless a participant had informed them ahead of time. It was just the small group leaving on this quest who had any sort of knowledge as to what they were about to face...

Indy arrived at the fountain early. He hated arriving late, and as such, arriving at a meeting very early tended to become something he'd been known for. Noticing that no one else had arrived, he decided to sit down on a nearby bench, waiting for his fellow students to file in. He knew that his best friend, Raidyn, would be going along with him. Aside from that, he had no clue who all would be joining. He just hoped that they would all be ready for whatever they'd need to face. As he sat, he became lost in his thoughts. This mission could potentially mark his first time ever leaving his home world of Radiant Garden. He could finally go out and see more worlds. He could meet new people. Most importantly, he might finally have a chance to track down the person he'd been trying to find for years... He managed to look calm for the most part, though he could feel his hands shaking with excitement. This could very well be the moment he'd waited years for.

"Okay! Then we get to see Buddy again!" Saki happily said, skipping joyfully to Aello. "By the way, I was doing all that....On purpose." He whispered and snickered. But Then he stopped for a second. He wanted to keep one of the drawings. One that he would keep as a souvenir for Twilight Town. Then he decided. He slowly took the drawing of Roxas, Axel, and Xion off the wall. He would really want to keep it and show it to the others. "Hee hee! Let's go!" He said, walking back to Aello.

"Oh," Aello said, "I thought you were shouting and putting your head in the guy's hood accidentally." This was said in completely serious voice, just for fun. "Anyways, let's go kick some dusks into next week! I'm gonna win this time!" She ran out of the room before Saki could get a head start, and jumped over the railing, sweeping her Keyblade diagonally into two dusks as she landed, sliding into two more while using her carried momentum from the drop to slash through them, and then rolling out of the way of an attack. "Four!" She shouted out for Saki.

The Seeker of Light stayed silent as he thought to himself: Now, these pair of clowns are either as dumb or even dumber than the two I just dealt with... seriously, this is getting old fast... can I at least get a couple of weaklings that I can have fun with...?

He then noticed that Joel had his hand held behind his back. Oh, so it's just a front, is it? Big mistake.

Copying himself from earlier, he snapped his fingers and summoned more Dusks to deal with Joel and Lucas.

"Have fun 'sightseeing'", he mocked the two, allowing the Dusks to do their dirty work as he remembered that Saki and Aello were in the other room.

"Now that I think about it, I don't have it as bad as I think. If those two brats are done with, then they're done with. If not... then I get to finish them off myself..." he mused to himself, going to check to see if they were dealt with. Opening the door, he saw that they were fighting back the Dusks with ease.

What the-! He yelled in his head.

The cloaked figure summoned some Dusks with a snap of a finger and went off into a different area of the mansion.

Well, I can't say that I was expecting Nobodies, Joel thought, but I guess this can be a sort of warm-up.

Joel spotted a few Dusks that were relatively close together. "At least I can still use this! Gravity!" Joel released the spell that he had been charging, causing the targeted Dusks to be flattened by the increase in gravitational force in that area. Once the spell wore off, Joel used a Reversal to get himself behind the recovering enemies. He summoned his Keyblade as he homed in on his targets, and finished them off with a couple of clean slashes.

With that done, Joel noticed that there were still a handful of Nobodies left. He ran toward the closest Dusk and practically crushed it with a Gravity Break.

"C'mon, Lucas! Let's wipe the floor with these small fries so we can go after that guy and find the others!" he shouted to his comrade.

Lucas quickly summoned his keyblade and did a dodge roll as a Nobody tried to swipe at him. "Right Joel, bring it on nobodies!" He thrusted his keyblade into the air as a thunder bolt knocked away a heartless in front of him, and he swiped at more Nobodies coming up at Joel from behind.

Joel and Lucas were able to take care of most of the Dusks with relative ease. Suddenly, Aello appeared out of a room on the second floor, jumped over the railing, and sliced through the last couple of Nobodies. Talk about making an entrance... Joel assumed that Saki couldn't be too far behind.

"Well, that takes care of that," he said with a sigh. He turned to address Aello. "I would normally ask what you two have been doing all this time, but it looks like you guys have had to do a bit of work as well."

(Once Saki showed up) Joel addressed the entirety of the team. "Now, let's see if we can catch this creep before he has the chance to run off!" he announced. Joel then started moving to the place where he last saw the cloaked figure. "And let's please try to stick together this time!"

-Rei-

As everyone crashed, Rei held onto Indy tightly and flew a few feet, keeping him from faceplanting. Letting go when he got his footing, Rei touched down.

"Don't do that again. Please." She dusted herself off.

-Zion-

She grabbed David and Dio (and Zar) and sighed.

"Hang on. Teleporting."

She teleported them to the Old Mansion at once. Where they landed was well, random.

She then flew to Ember, Somrene, Max, and Nexus.

"Okay so fighting at the Mansion." She dragged them all closer. "Hang on!"

Zion teleported them all to the mansion, depositing them on the grass before taking flight.

"I'll check the town, go ear this place out of Dusks."

"Heh heh heh!" Saki quickly folded the picture he was keeping and put it in his pocket, then jumped on the rails and jumped again, pointing his Keyblade down at 3 Dusks. "Aero Blast!" He yelled out. A ball of wind blasted out of his Keyblade, hitting all 3 of the Dusks, defeating them. Saki landed on his feet, only to see one more Dusk approach him.....Though it would the chance to attack, for Saki was already into his combo, ending it with a Reversal technique. "I've got 4 too! It's a tie for now, Aello!" He said before running after Joel, helping him find Buddy. "Buddy! Where are you? Don't you want to fight us? Come on out, Buddy! Ready or not here we come!"

"Dang it! Now we need a tie breaker!" She had wanted to win on the first turn. :( "Alright!" Aello smiled. "Whoever knocks out Buddy gets five points, that way Joel and Lucas can play, too!" The game taken care of for the moment, Aello fell in behind Joel. "Lead the way, fearless captain!"

Zather had whirled around, sensing something was coming, and was reaching for his Gunblade when he identified the flying figure as Zion. He rested his Oblivion Keyblade on his shoulder as Zion brought team beta together and teleported them to the mansion. He finally drew his Gunblade and transformed it to sword mode as Zion gave her brief orders.

"A quick extermination mission should be a good warm up." He said, a look of dark satisfaction on his face.

Glancing back, Zather looked disappointed as he saw other teams were also there and preparing to go in. There were also vague sounds of battle from with in. Was there going to be enough for everyone? Only one way to find out.

"Let's make our own entrance." He suggested to Max, Ember, and Somrene.

[Nexus Shift]

Annistha smirked as she spun her Gunblade around, transforming it into gun mode, then fired a three round burst to blow out an upper window on the mansion's second floor.

"Going up." She said gleefully.

[Nexus Shift]

Zather took off running as soon as he was in control, shifting the Gunblade back to sword mode. Fast on his feet, the Dark Twin built up speed as he ran for the way.

[Nexus Shift]

Using Zather's momentum, Annistha bounded into the air. Her feet hit the wall and she began to run up it. Almost there, she lunged up, and flipped over the sill of the window.

[Nexus Shift]

Zather landed in a crouch, both his Keyblade and Gunblade out by his sides. This was going to be fun.

Indy was prepared for the worst, but thankfully, Rei kept him on his feet until he could stop. "Thanks, Rei." He said after making sure he had his balance back, then he turned to Raidyn. "Yeah... next time, a warning would be nice." He told his friend, though he didn't seem angered. He also noticed a woman who he recognized from earlier, Luna.

-Artemis Thornton-

It wasn't long before he found himself scooped up and carried forth by Raidyn, who ran with them like The Flash himself, taking them across Twilight Town, the buildings a blur as they sped off at lightning speed. It was truly quite a sensation, but it came to a halt when someone called out that they had arrived and Raidyn stopped far too suddenly and flung everyone off, but Artemis's quick thinking and reflexes allowed him to land properly, rolling and stopping with his arms extended and kneeling. (The usual pose seen in Metal Gear Games. X3)

He then got up and dusted himself off, noting that had he not worn his Combat Gloves, the impact would have bloodied his knuckles, then he turned to face the others. "Raidyn...you might want to slow down to a stop, not a sudden one, just a word of caution." He advised, then looked around. "Anyone need assistance getting up?" He asked.

-Luna "Nephilim" Urbane-

She had arrived at the Old Mansion entrance but she decided to wait for others to arrive before entering, resting her sheathed Katana on the ground vertically with her other hand on her hip and tapping her foot.

After a while, she heard someone racing to a stop and the thuds of several others and went to them, using her Katana like a Cane. "Ahh, greetings fellow...friends." She paused as she noticed they were a little shaken by the sudden stop.

"Oh, uh... hey." Indy greeted the woman, a bit embarrassed after realizing that she'd noticed everyone wipe out. Thankfully, things went well for him. He noticed some other students arrive, as well. "Huh... looks like most of us are here, now. I guess this really is the place we should be going to, if everyone came here after their other searches." He pointed out. "Now then, let's head in..." He opened the door of the mansion, hoping the others would follow him. Being the only one to go in while a threat might be lurking wouldn't go well. Thankfully, upon entering, he noticed that some students were already inside. It looked like they had just fought a battle, though. "Hey, what's going on? Did you find something in here?" He asked the students in the mansion, hoping that everything was going well.

"Oh god n-" Maximilan objected to the teleport, but before he could really finish the sentence Zion had already teleported them to the entrance of the mansion, and again, while everyone landed safely on the ground near the entrance, but Maximilian was teleported twenty feet into the air this time, "God daaaaaaaamit!" he said as he landed on the ground with a loud thud, but no damage seemed to be dealt, after all, all these falls made him quite sturdy.

He managed to recover fast enough to hear Zather giving the sugestion of making their own entrance, "R-right..." he said stretching his arms as he saw Zather getting into the upper window, he thought he'd mind as well, Darkness began to flow around him as he prepared to jump, and he did, jumping straight into the window and the inside, with a roll, followed by a trail of darkness behind him, right where Zather was, summoning his keyblade, which was larger than Zather himself, holding it it on top of his shoulder to support it, although it didn't weight much, his arm with particles of darkness coming off it, the keyblade itself made it so that just by using it, darkness was being released, sort of the reason it seemed to light to him.

"Well, lets do this then" he said.

Zar was breathing heavy, and soon after he opened his eyes sitting up and screaming. He woke up and noticed his arms and legs, "Wh-What happened to me, I-I'm bleeding from my arms and legs. Last thing I remember was giving my body to Raz." He then noticed that they were no longer separated, everyone was in one big group in front of the Old Mansion. "Raz what happened?" He asked the hallucination. "I'm sorry... I lost." He told him, Zar figured that if we were put into this big of a group it means that something is happening. "Alright, I think we should help out." Zar started to stand up but immediately screamed in pain and fell over, "Ahhhh!!!" He knew after that exprience he wasn't going to be of any help. 'Come on guys, make it though.' He thought to himself.

He also noticed a woman who he recognized from earlier, Luna."Oh, uh... hey." He asked the students in the mansion, hoping that everything was going well.

Saki immediately ran back as he heard noises from inside the mansion. At the entrance he found Indy, who was asking questions about what happened, which Saki was very happy to do. But not before a proper greeting..."Indy!!!" Saki quickly hugged Indy, then jumped up and down. "Aw man, you really missed it! We went in, then we met this Seeker of Light guy with red eyes! I annoyed him, then we went into the Dinner Room, fought some Nobodies, I annoyed that guy even more and then named him Buddy, and now we're going to catch him! Come on! I haven't been this excited in a long time!" He said all that and then ran off, back to his group going after Buddy.

-Artemis & Luna-

Artemis wasted no time entering the Mansion with the others, scaling the walls to follow those who had entered through the window, those being Maximilian and Zather, with Luna following suit right behind him and after they both entered, they drew their Keyblades and followed Max and Zather.

"Now....where to?" Luna asked.

"We shall see soon, I believe. Oh, hello again, Max." Artemis replied, then greeted Max.

"Thanks for the ride Miss Master!" Ember exclaimed after Zion dropped them off. She watched Annistha, Zather, and Max all make their way into the second floor. "Oh sweet! Let's go Somrene, maneuver 34!" She cried. She backed up a couple steps, before dashing straight towards her brother.

"Not completely sure why we can't just walk up the stairs." Somrene grunted, but he crouched down, hands together in front of him anyway. Ember leapt, her foot landing perfectly in Somrene's hands. He threw her up into the air. Ember flipped in the air, summoning her keyblade, and pointed it down at Somrene's feet. A pillar of ice shot from the ground, propelling Somrene into the air at the same level as his sister. He pulled out Rapture, and used a fire spell to shoot him towards the window, grabbing Ember as he flew. Finally, they were inside. Ember bounded to her feet as soon as they were inside the mansion, and was looking around the room excitedly. Somrene got up a bit slower, taking it in from his position. He held Rapture carefully, knowing that there could be danger very close by.

"Oof! Hey, slow down more gradually next time, okay? You don't come with seat belts!" Sandrew complained, getting back onto his feet. He dusted himself off, and pulled a chunk of grass off of his head.

-Rei-As everyone crashed, Rei held onto Indy tightly and flew a few feet, keeping him from faceplanting. Letting go when he got his footing, Rei touched down."Don't do that again. Please." She dusted herself off.

Toshi rose from the ground with help from Raidyn giving her a hand.

"I got it, I got it," Raidyn said to the others. "I'm sorry, I just... got carried away. I've really been tearin' it up with my speed power and I guess I wanted to give it a test run outside the normal training grounds back at the Academy."

"Just be careful next time," Toshi said. "But anyways: we're here at the mansion now, so that's all that matters. We should start heading in."

"Right," Raidyn said, nodding his head.

The two students then followed along with their class.

From the Dining Room, the Seeker of Light heard the mansion's Foyer with the sounds of footsteps and new voices.

"Great... more Keyblade-loving brats have come to tick me off. I need to get in contact with the others..."

Lucas was a bit startled by Aello's appearence and shrugged it off. "Heh, ok then. We'll see who can get that guy first!" He fell in line behind Aello as well. "Let's go Joel!"

"Greetings" Maximilian replied as he turned to look at both Artemis and Seraphim, both of which had jumped into the window as well, followed by Somrene and Ember, which made him smirk, as he and Zather wouldn't be alone in this, with darkness flowing around his hand, he was ready for a fight, finally, he hoped Zion wouldn't teleport them at the end of this however...

"I see two options, split up, find the threats and eliminate them, or do the latter but with the full team we got here." He gave two possibilities for them to choose from, he didn't care which, as he started to walk towards the door of the room they were in, which was the only door in the room, with no other exit, turning around, his keyblade on his shoulder, "so?".

From the Dining Room, the Seeker of Light heard the mansion's Foyer with the sounds of footsteps and new voices.

Just when his team had finally gotten together again, Saki decided to run ahead. Yare yare daze... Joel and the others had no choice but to follow him.

Then Saki completely ignored the dining hall.

Well, he could've at least checked, Joel thought with a mental sigh. Guess I'll do it. He motioned to the remaining students to remain quiet as he slowly opened the door. Sure enough, their target was right there in the dining hall.

"Found you!" Joel exclaimed as he flashed the hooded figure a smile while drawing out his Keyblade.

Unfortunatley for Joel, the Seeker of Light was fed up with playing around with him and the other students.

He quickly used a portal made of light to escape from Twilight Town.

Joel just stared at the spot where the Seeker of Light once stood for several seconds.

"... Well then." Joel put his Keyblade back into Hammerspace and turned around. "Well guys, we're done here," he quickly said as he started walking in the direction that they came from (which was the foyer).

Zather glanced at Nephilim and Luna, then to Max.

"Let's see what we're deal with first." He suggested, then walking forward and kicking the door into the room out.

The door splintered around the latch and swung wide.

"Step one, bait."

Indy was a bit... confused when Saki ran up to hug him. After the boy left, he followed Joel upstairs... only to hear that their target had apparently left. "Well, that ended quickly." He sighed. "I'll let Master Zion know that we're finished here. It sounds like we've explored everywhere." He told Joel, then used his earpiece to speak with his teacher once again. "Master Zion, the target seems to have disappeared. I think we're done here, are you able to take us back to the ship?" He asked her, ready to move on at this point.

Zion leaned on Indy.

"I could, but first you all need to make a final decision. We have two problem areas and two ships. Rei will fly the second and I the first, but we need team Leaders. Indy and Joel, front and center."

Despite Rei still on his back, he was expected to stand there. Same with Joel. They stand there no matter what, cause Zion is insistent.

"Now, these are your leaders. Besides Rei who chose, everyone needs to be sorted. So, I'll let you all decide your teams. And yes Nephilim, if you come on my team you get the room closest to mine." She chuckled, having not forgotten her remark about preferring girls.

Unfortunatley for Joel, the Seeker of Light was fed up with playing around with him and the other students.

He quickly used a portal made of light to escape from Twilight Town.

(Lmao, rage quit/shot.)

"Welp." Lucas said as he dissapeared. "At the very least, we got to kick some nobody butt! That was fun!" He said with a smile as he de-summoned his keyblade.

"I Missed Buddy!?" Saki said running back into the Foyer. He sat down, for once. "Aww! Oh well. We'll see him again, right? Heh heh!" Saki waited for the leaders to choose. Once Aello came in, he gave his attention to her. "You wanna stay with Joel?" Saki asked her.
