Radiant Garden- Keyblade Academy

Ordinarily, the Radiant Garden Keyblade Academy was rather quiet, at least by the standards of a school. Not much happened, and it was rare for any sort of exciting events to happen in the years of peace that the world had experienced. However, on this particular day, that was about to change. The Masters of the Keyblade Academy were about to send a group of students off on what would be the most important journey since the one taken by Master Sora and his friends in the past. The previous day, almost 20 students had received letters from Master Sora. Each letter shared the same message, though with slight alterations to include the name of its recipient:

Dear (Student),

Hello, this is Master Sora. I would like to let you know that you have been selected to participate in a very important mission. This journey could take a short time, or many months. I apologize if this interferes with your busy schedule, but you will be excused from all missed lessons during this time period. I would like you to convene just outside the Academy tomorrow at noon, by the fountain. You will receive further instructions at that time. I wish you and your fellow companions the best of luck on this journey!

Sincerely, Master Sora

This particular letter and mission were unknown to those who were not participating, unless a participant had informed them ahead of time. It was just the small group leaving on this quest who had any sort of knowledge as to what they were about to face...

Indy arrived at the fountain early. He hated arriving late, and as such, arriving at a meeting very early tended to become something he'd been known for. Noticing that no one else had arrived, he decided to sit down on a nearby bench, waiting for his fellow students to file in. He knew that his best friend, Raidyn, would be going along with him. Aside from that, he had no clue who all would be joining. He just hoped that they would all be ready for whatever they'd need to face. As he sat, he became lost in his thoughts. This mission could potentially mark his first time ever leaving his home world of Radiant Garden. He could finally go out and see more worlds. He could meet new people. Most importantly, he might finally have a chance to track down the person he'd been trying to find for years... He managed to look calm for the most part, though he could feel his hands shaking with excitement. This could very well be the moment he'd waited years for.

As a Soldier rapidly approached Somrene, he stood calmly, Rapture by his side. "That's an excellent point." He said, referring to the Nexus. The Soldier was nearly upon him when the Darkling covered his boot in fire magic and kicked the enemy far far away, where it faded away, its heart floating away.

"Who cares? Let's just focus on keeping the civilians safe for now!" Ember interjected. She flipped into the air right over a group of three or four of the Soldier heartless. She cast Blizzard, and froze the lot of them, encasing them in a large block of ice. Then she fell to the ground, her keyblade extended, slicing the ice block into several pieces as she fell. Her brother casually waved his hand, destroying the ice in a burst of flame.

(Uhh....I'm just gonna post for the heck of it)

Saki then started to run off again, this time going back. "Hey, I'm going back to the others to see how they're doing! I'll meet you guys there!" He yelled out, going back to the clearing, still having his Keyblade out. "That was one weird Heartless...Why and how did she like me?" He said to himself while running. He really wondered about that, but shook his head to get the thought out for now. "But I shouldn't worry about it! Besides, it's not like I'm going to see another one of those again." And as once he finished speaking, he skidded and stopped, seeing that others were fighting the same Heartless! "Woah! You guys are fighting them too!" Saki exclaimed. But then he heard that same feminine giggling. "Oh no..." And soon enough he found his body being hugged once again by a Bouncywild, only even tighter. "WHY ME!?"

(Okay...For some reason....I really want to keep this Bouncywild alive and stick with them for while only in this world. But I'm not sure if that's okay....)

-Artemis Thornton-

Artemis decided to stick to the sidelines during combat, as Bouncywilds and Powerwilds...well, they were "chump change" as some would say, hardly worthy of his blades and they didn't pose a threat to anyone, not really.

...well, maybe except for Saki, who was being harassed by one. Luna offered to kill it, but Artemis suggested otherwise silently.

"I believe you have a friend there, Saki." He jestingly stated.

Luna offered to kill it, but Artemis suggested otherwise silently."I believe you have a friend there, Saki." He jestingly stated.

"A Heartless? As a friend? No, No way! No possi-" Then a sudden thought popped into Saki's mind. "Wait..." He then looked at the Bouncywild. "You somehow like me, right?" He asked. The Bouncywild quickly nodded. "So would you do anything for me?" The Bouncywild nodded again. "Umm......You might be right....DO NOT KILL THIS THIS HEARTLESS! I know it sounds crazy, but....Yeah." Saki said out loud. He was beginning to understand the benefit of this.

Raz heard what Saki said and as soon as he left he relaxed. "Thank you, he finally left, peace and quiet." Raz said as he continued on. "Let's go," he said to Joel. Keeping his keyblades at the ready.

"God damn teleports..." Maximilian was crouching, holding his head in his hands, the pain came back, the god damn concussion, his vision blurry and dizzy for a time, thankfully, he wasn't being attacked by any of the heartless, as they were being taken out by his fellow keyblade wielders, after the concussion effects passed he stood up, only to have a Powerwild lunge at him.

Maximilian promptly grabbed its throat mid lunge, holding it with a tight grip, before darkness covering his hands as he the heartless disappeared as Max closed his hand on its throat, looking unamused, he was in a horrible mood, with hitting his head and all.

He quickly approached Saki, who had a bouncywild hugging him, hoping it wouldn't look at him, as he was downright scary looking with that huge keyblade of his and his mood right now, "You sure you want to keep it? actually no, I think the question should be how and why a HEARTLESS of all things has emotions..." he said in a serious tone, as he held his head in his hand again, "I knew I should have taken the healing classes..." he muttered.

"Um, we should probably check on the others," Joel said to Raz, "and I'm not letting you go on ahead on your own." Joel grabbed the other boy's arm to ensure that he wouldn't run off, and they made their way back to the clearing.

When they arrived, Joel saw the others fighting more Heartless... and then he saw Saki and the people that were surrounding him. And the Heartless.

"... I don't even want to know what's going on..." he muttered so the only other person who could hear him would probably have been Raz/Zar.

Unfortunately, it was kind of his job to know what was going on.

"Alright, who wants to explain this to me?" he said as he walked toward Saki, Luna, Artemis and Max and gestured at the Bouncywild that had latched itself onto Saki.

-Artemis Thornton-

"Well, it would appear that a Bouncywild has become....infatuated with Saki. ....I am not making this up. And I am certainly not shitting you." Artemis explained in a rather deadpan, snarky voice, mostly due to the...oddness of the situation at hand.

-Luna "Nephilim" Urbane-

"...believe me, I am very befuddled." Luna commented.

"I'm just as confused as you are.....EEE!" The Bouncywild was hugging him tighter, making his eyes bulge out and making his face turn blue. "Let...Me...Go...Please...." The Bouncywild then let Saki go immediately, letting him take a breathing. She didn't want to kill him. But she laughed more. Meanwhile, Saki was gasping for breath. "Why...Do you have...Such tight grips?..." He soon got up to see that the Bouncywild was still laughing. "Oh sure! Laugh all you want Lisa." Then the Bouncywild stopped laughing suddenly. "Wait....Did I just name a Heartless? I named a Heartless Lisa by ACCIDENT!?" Saki was just as shocked. And then once again....

"Oh....She likes the name obviously..." Saki said, once again being hugged by Lisa the Bouncywild.

"Um, we should probably check on the others," Joel said to Raz, "and I'm not letting you go on ahead on your own." Joel grabbed the other boy's arm to ensure that he wouldn't run off, and they made their way back to the clearing.

"Hey, Hey... Alright, I'm coming." Raz said swapping away Joel's hand. They arrived back at the others, he noticed Max with a foul mood on. "Hey, you should wear that face more often, people might take you more seriously." Raz said, he then put he keyblades away and Zar took over. As soon as Zar took over, he knelled in pain with a bit of heat coming off of him causing him to breath heavy.

As everyone around him kept up with their opponents, Indy also managed to do well in his own battle with two of them. He dodged their attacks, and took out the first one with a point-blank Fire spell. As for the second, after ducking under one of its aerial attacks, he quickly turned, slashing at it from behind. After the well-placed strike, the last one burst into a shadowy cloud. After that one was defeated, all of the Soldiers were gone. Indy sighed. "That takes care of these ones... That man mentioned that other monsters have been sighted all over the town, though. I guess our work isn't really done yet." He muttered. "Alright, everyone. Should we head back to Thebes now?" He asked, wanting to get the thoughts of the entire group before moving out.

Raidyn / Toshi

"Whoo... that was tough," Raidyn said, finishing off the Heartless he was fighting.

"Yeah... it sure was..." Toshi panted, barely managing to stand.

The two regrouped with the others, and Indy had asked them if they should head back to Thebes.

"Sure! This place doesn't look like it's going to be of much use to us right now. Plus, I bet if we're quick, we can run into Hercules!" Raidyn said.

"What Raidyn said... well, mostly. But it is important," Toshi said.

And so the group was all back together again. Aello couldn't help but wonder why a bouncywild was following Saki around, but hey. At least it wasn't trying to eat him. Then she started hearing voices up ahead. Normally she would have just run up ahead to see what was going on, but with the mansion incident still fresh in her mind, the Keyblade student realized maybe that wasn't the best idea. "Can you guys here what those voices are saying?" Aello asked the others. "I can't quite make it out..."

"Can you guys here what those voices are saying?" Aello asked the others. "I can't quite make it out..."

"Um...Me neither. Maybe we should go investigate!" Saki suggested, while still being hugged by the just-named Lisa the Bouncywild, who was happily hugging him. "Um...Hey...Lisa? Could you let go of me? Please?" The Heartless nodded and finally let go of Saki, who was stretching after being hugged so much. "I still can't believe this is happening to me..." He muttered. "So, now that we have..."Lisa" sticking with us, mostly me, for a while, let's see what those voices are." Saki said, already starting to walk away, being followed by Lisa, who was right next to Saki on the right and giggled once again. "I'll never know what goes on inside that little, dark, female mind of yours...Nor would I want to." He said to Lisa.

So now we have a Heartless on our side... Go figure, Joel said in the privacy of his own mind. I suppose it wouldn't be fun to kill it right away... But is this Heartless a traitor to its own kind now? What if it's a spy? Joel shook his head, trying to rid himself of all these confusing thoughts. I guess I should just go with it... I just hope I'm not the one who gets in trouble.

It seemed that at that point everyone had noticed the voices. "Stop," he told Saki in a somewhat soft voice. "They might already know that we've already heard them."

He looked around to see everyone's condition. Max still had his head wound, and Zar seemed to be in a bit of pain himself.

"If anyone has items on them, these two need it," he said to the rest of the gang. He then drew his Keyblade as quietly as he could (if that's even possible) and held it behind him so he could throw it at a moment's notice. He slowly made his way toward the enigmatic voices, until he was close enough to make out what was being said....

"Might as well." Zather said with a shrug, sounding disappointed that there weren't more enemies to slay.

He transformed the Gunblade and holstered it, but kept his Keyblade out for now.

"We need information on what is happening now, so our best bet is Phil." He continued. "That old satyr knows everything that goes on in these games, and if something has disrupted them, he's sure to be raging about it."

Kneeling, Zather wiped two fingers along the ground where the Heartless Soldier he had killed had disappeared, then brought the fingers to his nose and sniffed. Unless the SoL was using darkness themselves, that meant they would need a hired flunky stupid enough to both work for them and try to control Heartless. The Dark Twin wanted the flunky' scent so they could get to him before the SoL disposed of him or her.

"Alright, alright." Saki said with his arms crossed, continuing to walk. Lisa meanwhile was happily skipping along with Saki, still staying close to him.

(Well, since a certain someone was wondering why I hadn't done something goofy with Lucas in awhile, I decided this is probably as good a time as ever to have him royally eff things up~)

As the group reunited and Lucas looked at the strange Heartless not accompanying them, he saw Joel walking towards the voices with his keyblade in hand. Lucas followed after him, quietly summoning his keyblade, speed walking over to Joel planning to provide back up in case things went wrong. And things were about to go wrong, because as soon Lucas got close enough behind Joel, he ended up tripping over a boulder that he neglected to see and because he was speed walking to catch up to Joel quickly, he ended up tumbling into Joel with much momentum and the two ended up rolling down the path and making a lot of noise as they got closer to the hushed voices.

Saki simply walked towards the two fallen Keybladers and he just did one thing. Just slowly clapped with straight face. "Bravo, silent ones. Bravo." Lisa meanwhile did the "Shame on you" motion with her hands, going along with Saki. She then giggled at their little goof up. "I'm just joking around. No need to take seriously. Come on, we might as well make our entrance." Saki said before walking away. Lisa on the other hand wrapped her tail around Joel and Lucas's legs, dragging them across the ground so they wouldn't make any noise. Also getting slight revenge on beating up her Heartless allies.

Aello couldn't help but laugh a tiny bit at Saki's antics. "Umm, Ms. Heartless, dragging them is probably louder than having them walk..." She pointed out. "Oh, and Saki, what is your Heartless friend's name again?" She figured it would be hard for the poor monkey creature to tell who she was talking to if she continued addressing her as Ms. Heartless all the time, but she hadn't caught the name Saki used for it earlier.

"Apparently...Her name's Lisa. I might as well go with that name." Saki said. Lisa then giggled once Saki said her name. "I don't know if she was hit on the head somehow or if she's high. Either one would make actual sense right now." Lisa, still dragging the two with her tail, then hugged Saki and giggled once again. "I should have named her Giggles instead...Let me go, Lisa." Lisa then nodded and let go of Saki. "Just how long are you going to follow me?" Lisa wanted to speak, only thing is she was unable to. Then she got an idea. But not before taking care of the two she was dragging around by the tail. To Lisa, if you don't have any use of something, just throw it away. And that's exactly what she did. She threw Joel and Lucas behind her, potentially hitting the other students that were following from behind. She then ran to a tree, grabbed a branch, and pulled it off with a snap. She then ran back to the path and wrote words in the dirt ahead of the group. It took Lisa a bit, but she was able to get it done. Lisa pointed to the ground which read her response. Saki then stopped to read it.

"Till the End of all life....MY LOVE!? O_O" Saki was really surprised by this. And Lisa giggled once again. Saki blinked twice to just process this.

"The first girl to ever love me....Is a Heartless. ....HOW!?" Lisa then wrapped her tail around Saki and pulled him towards her, only to hug him once again. "....Help..."

Maximilian grabbed both Joel and Lucas with a nice application of magnet, pulling them both, Lucas in his left arm, and Joel to his right, as he helped them up to their feet, as he staggered forward due to his head wound, the pain swiftly passing away in seconds as the dizzy effects stopped.

"I don't know how, nor will I ask how..." he commented about Saki and Lisa's situation, only walking over to Saki, finally starting to get his mood back, as long as the wound pain didn't come back, he put his hand on Saki's shoulder from behind him, "Till death do you two part, now kiss the bride!" Maximilian said with a grin as he pushed Saki towards Lisa, playfully and jokingly, he mind as well go with the moment, since expecting an explanation was pointless, and he doubted Zion would let this stand, as after doing so he began to walk toward the voices again, with the rest of the group.

Joel didn't even have time to register, let alone get angry at, Lucas tripping into him, because immediately after, he and Lucas were being dragged by... "Lisa", as Saki called it, only to be unceremoniously thrown to the side. Fortunately, Max was sympathetic enough to grab them with a Magnet and help them up.

Joel regained his senses and dusted himself off. "Thanks, mate," he said to Max with a thumbs up.

Now Joel turned back to the matter at hand. He recalled what had happened only moments ago, and the recollection didn't do anything to brighten his mood.

He summoned his Keyblade back into his hand (as he had dropped it earlier) and dragged it behind him as he plodded over to Lisa. There was no point in trying to be stealthy at this point, so the next best thing to do was to surprise their potential enemies.

"You think you're gonna get a free ride with us? Because you're gonna have to work if you want to fly," he said to the Heartless in a sinister tone. "Now how's about you do some recon?"

With one swift motion, Joel grabbed the Heartless by its head and threw it into the forest in the direction of the voices, hoping that one of the speakers would get hit head-on.

"Well....That happened." Saki commented. "But finally I'm free from-" Saki could not finish his sentence due to the fact that Lisa came flying back like a boomerang and tackled Saki to the ground! Of course....Lisa giggled. "Wha??? B-but how did you do that!?" Saki questioned, caught by surprise. Lisa then quickly got up and ran to a tree, jumped towards it, grabbed it with her tail, span on it, let go, and tackled Saki once again. "Ohhh....She used her tail on one of the trees and used it to come back..." Lisa Bouncywild nodded in confirmation and giggled. This Heartless would be stuck like glue! No matter how hard they seemed to try, the Keybladers just can't get rid of Lisa.

"She won't let go, you two are bound by destiny it seems... you two may now kiss." Maximilian teased Saki again, as he turned to face Joel, shrugging at his attempt to Throw Lisa away, "Nothing much we can do, just gotta accept the fact that we now have a heartless in our team...boy Zion is gonna have a fit when she hears about this..." he said with a sigh as he summoned his massive keyblade as well, and continued to walk towards the voices, who were getting ever closer and louder.
