I like that all the stuff they showed off was basically "watch as the computer does everything for you while the characters just sit there and do nothing". Seriously, woulda loved to see actual player controlled driving, or even some in-car banter between all the guys. They're bros on a road trip, they should be firetrucking around with each other, cracking wise and doing shit, not just sitting passively.

They weren't just sitting there. They were talking. I'm sure the team just hasn't implemented VA yet.

If the only progress was that yes, there is an actual game engine and yes, the AI is functional at a basic level, then they shouldn't have even bothered. I'd rather see actual progress.
