It was a cold, brittle day that swept throughout the land.  Or, rather, the inhabited portion.  Much of this dying earth has withered away, leaving much land dry, lifeless, and relatively impossible to live upon.  It was late November, and the heaviness of Winter was only just falling upon them.

There are cities, towns, and small villages scattered everywhere across the continent.  Many of which are now subservient to the empire, yet there are some which still exist free from the Emperor's reign, and they aren't in happy places.  These villages and cities are cold, raided, and . . . starving.  The land, in its final dying stages, host little vegetation and thus hardly produce good crops.  There is little food as well as resources to acquire it.  Most villages independent of the empire cannot afford Tanzynite for their life source, so they are still reliant upon the nutrients that food provide.  With this, disease is more prominent in some societies, and yet without Tanzynite--or a proper Healing Mage--they can hardy treat the person.

As a Rebellion Member you are free to roam any cities which you see fit.  Perhaps it's your home, or perhaps you are merely visiting.  Maybe you're gathering recruits, or even still gathering information about the Empire's ongoings.  The age is one of technology, where everything is electronically run.  Modern technology exists, but a lot of places on the map do not support cellular service.

At the heart of the nation rests the metallic castle walls of the Imperial City, Langerdon.  Its thick walls made of heavy iron and other metals make it nearly impossible to penetrate.  The city inside is one where people live lavishly, having every possible luxury that one would request.  Even the poorest people in Langerdon have comfortable lives, an object for many rebels to envy.  The streets and city are all technologically advanced and predominately made of steel and iron, the palace being no exception.  The castle works for itself, and it alone could be used as a weapon to keep unwanted guests away.  There lives the Emperor Korben himself, along with his many loyal subjects and cronies.

As a Subject/Member of the Empire you are to adhere to Korben's orders within Langerdon, the Capital City and remain within that city on patrol, or maybe you're permitted within the Palace/Castle, or maybe you're on assignment in another city to look out for Rebels or Treasonous Individuals. However, those are for later, as right now, all members of the Empire are currently in a meeting with the Emperor to discuss recent events, the Rebellion, Plans etc. You have no problems with communication with the Emperor, as he can "Astral Project" technically using his Dark Powers.

In the Criminal Underworld resides those who don't obey the laws nor do they take them into their own hands, but they break them. Break them like the proverbial knee cap, or the literal one. There are Crime Lords, Gangs, Organized Crime-Doers and just those who commit Petty Crime. There also reside Information Brokers and such who can provide info, usually reliable given their range due to lawlessness. Those who are Criminals, you do what you please, be it robbing shops, banks, people or dealing drugs or weapons, it matters not in the Slums.

Those who are independent free spirits you do what you please, aid the Rebellion, tip off the Empire or do Parkour, you are completely free, but alone in this cold-hearted world.

You all have your places and roles, now is the time to shape your stories, for your fate is in your hands.

-Emperor Korben-

Others were arriving for the meeting, but Korben tended to be the last to arrive for he would stand at his balcony and look out upon his city, his eyes glistening and emitting Dark Blue Energy through his helmet as he gazed and scanned the city which was bathed in Moonlight as it tended to be at this time of Night. In his earlier days as Emperor, he'd be at peace observing his city, but nowadays the constant bothering by the Rebellion irk him constantly, especially when he looks at Langerdon and beyond...he can see the turmoil even when it isn't happening....yet. He couldn't help but clench his hands as he rested them upon the Stone Ledge, leaving grooves where his fingers ground against it. "Accursed Rebel scum..." He muttered in a low, darkly distorted voice.

"Mi'lord?" His pondering ceased upon a female subject, a maid, entered his room to fetch him and he went back into his room from the balcony and greeted her. "Hmm?" He uttered. "They're ready for you at the Round Table, my Emperor." She told him, earning a nod from the Emperor as he left his room while she went back to her duties. Korben walked through the corridors, past many rooms, small events and ornaments until got to a set of large wooden doors and pushed them open, announcing his arrival which silenced the muttering Senior Subjects who awaited his arrival. The doors closed behind him as he took his seat, a Throne which was far more regal and decorated than their chairs, but some had better seating to show their higher ranking than others there. The Emperor sat firm...and spoke.

"Gentlemen and Ladies, welcome...." He leans forward. "Let us discuss. First point of business, how goes the flow of Tanzynite and their profits?" He asked, then someone spoke up, presumably the one in charge of the Finances and Flow of Tanzynite and he dressed like a Scientist, but more formal. "My liege. The Tanzynite flows smoothly, no thieveries by Criminals this Month and Profits are up by 2%, sir." He explained. "Most excellent, but increase and adapt Marketing, I want profits to go up by 5% next time. Do not water-down any of the chemicals or make any new ones yet. If you need to, get Thomas to help you." He replied, the Scientist nodded, Thomas being one of his assistants. "By the way, Thomas has suggested we should perhaps market to a younger audience?" He put this forward nervously, but did not shudder...until Korben spoke. "Need I remind you....that we do NOT market what is basically Drugs to children! *Ahem* ....you tell Thomas that, Timothy." He addressed the Scientist, known as Timothy, who nodded in response, making a note.

Korben then turned to the higher ups (Player Characters of the Empire) and spoke up. "What news of the Rebellion?" He put forward.

(No worries, Peashy can take it. But can you handle what Peashy is about to do, hehe)

-Peashy-

As Peashy was flung through another wall she landed near Ariana & Chrysalis. Peashy soon stood up out of the rubble holding her head with her right hand "Uhh...my...head" said Peashy as she then shook her head getting the dirt out of her yellow hair & then dusting her self off. "Hm...where am I again?...???" said Peashy confused as she looked around her. It seems the effects of the food balls had ended finally, Peashy saw Ariana fighting Neena then looked to see Henry covered with rocks of some sort. Peashy's DBZ scouter tried scanning them all but it was damaged after Peashy got smashed through the wall & couldn't scan her enemies properly. "Uh...? OH! your the one who kicked me right?" said Peashy to Henry totally confused. But then Peashy could hear a soldiers voice coming from her DBZ scouter "Peashy, you are to return to base immediately!" said the soldiers voice "Whaaaaat, but I was just about to have some fun with rocky (Henry)" said Peashy annoyed as she stomped on the snowy ground "O well, Bye Bye Mr. rocky (Henry), Hope you'll play with me next time K!" said Peashy as she then jumped off the ground flying high into the sky before shooting off into the distance fast.

-Uzume-

Uzume waited for something to come out from the front empire gates for while, but nothing was coming, not a thing. "Hmm...Maybe they didn't here me?" thought Uzume has she then picked up some rocks she found on the ground were she stood "Well, I hate to do this but...HEY!!" yelled uzume as she then begun throwing the rocks she found hard at the front gate doors "I KNOW YOUR IN THERE!! EMPEROR BUTTHEAD & YOUR BOOTLICKERS!! COME OUT!!!" yelled Uzume as she threw more rocks.

-Plutia-

"Mmm...Oh how I would love to slowly whip some punishment into a wild dog like you handsome, hehe. But sadly I don't have the time for it so..." said Plutia as she followed after Dex "See you later my pet, hehe" whispered Plutia as she passed the Doctor. Plutia then met Dex outside the alleyway "Hey handsome, Lets get going. Suddenly I'm in the mood to made a new doll of someone, hehe" said Plutia as she licked her lips.

-Rufus Contralto-

The grey-seasoned baronet onlooked the battle with a sense of awe, watching the two shift forms and gears.  This was beyond his limited capabilities, Rufus being a hedge wizard and a garden mage, but he swallowed the lump in his throat and dared to continue an assault on the slippery dark form of the scientist.  Holding out his sword in the air and applying telekinesis to lock it in place, he prepared an enhanced spellcasting.  Siphoning magic from the blade, he forged jagged ice crystals which launched towards Ariana conically.  The jaggedness, while making the ice more dangerous, slowed their speed a fraction of an amount, but danger and area far outweighed speed in Rufus' account.

His breath became partially laboured from his quick reliance on powerful magic, but his concentration did not wither by much.  His beady eyes were for the most part fixated on the battle at hand, and his sword arm regained fixture on the blade handle.

While it was for a short moment, the newcomers attracted his attention.  Fiora attracted his attention especially, the lass leaving behind her children and taking up arms beside him, but Peashy and the powerful-seeming Henry smashed through a wall, naturally arresting some consideration from him.  At the very least this man too is on my side, he thought with a mental smile, as he was seemingly friends with the elf in front of him.

(I'l post with Gabriel and Dex for now, im awaiting others to reply to my other characters)

- Gabriel Stross -

Gabe had to admit, the rare occurances where Korben would teleport to his lab were pretty damn startling, thankfully he had his nervous inhibitors on, to dampen any type of startle possibly caused, he was tipying on the computer, that wasn't exactly something he could mess around with, slowly turning around to look directly at Korben.

Gabriel soon clapped his hands twice, as the computer's monitor screen showed exactly what Korben wanted to see. There were two screens, one which Gabriel pressed first, showed the two prototype SPARTAN suits, "Awaiting SPARTAN Serum for testing phases to start" could be read in the top left corner, The Doctor was handling that alright.

The next showed a full picture of the Sahala mech, in its full splendor, "Weapon systems: Complete. Wavelenght threat accessment system: Updated, Self Repairing nano archaea: Implemented succesfully. Seismic control unit: Operational, and lastly, but not least.

DELTA Tesla rail cannon: Fully operational and ready for use."  all of them could be read through the development log, the only thing missing was the "Protective shield" which was 98.7% operational, but not fully able to be used.

Gabriel also showed Korben the security camera's footage of Uzume at the front gate.

- Dex -

"And im in the mood to expand our network, lets get going before that man comes" Dex told Plutia in a serious tone as he started to head off, 'Can you see through the phoenix eyes?' Dex spoke with Oryx within his mind.

'Quite well, this bird will be invaluable, no doubt.' Oryx spoke to Dex in his mind.

-Emperor Korben-

Korben observed Gabriel's presentation of his projects, the SPARTANs and the Sahala impressed him greatly. "Excellent...excellent!" He exclaimed, then looked to Gabriel. "Once the Doctor gets the serum ready, you are free to test the SPARTAN's however you please. And as for the Sahala...if you can get the shield ready before, that will be good, but I say...deploy the Mech at the Citadel. I have a hunch....plus, I know how she thinks..." He mused, smirking lightly under his helmet.

"You have done very well indeed, Gabriel." He commended him, then looked at the security footage he was shown intently. "Hmm...give me a moment. I shall project myself." He said, then closed his eyes, causing his flames to cease as he glowed slightly, Astral Projecting a blue, almost holographic and glowing with power version of himself in front of Uzume, while his physical body remained near Gabriel.

"May I help you...?" He said, folding his arms.

~Vortludo~

"Then we shall all go! Come now, all my comrades! We will spin tales of a valiant battle against the dangerous Imperial demon and assassin Tekanolojia!" Vortludo announced, as he gestured towards the large castle. He began to prance his way towards the HQ, and upon reaching the gigantic gates, found Tiriel and a cloaked man. "Ah, yet another shield sib! Yevgeni, the beautiful woman there is Tiriel, our resident archangel. Tiriel, we recruited this likeminded individual in Langerdon, and hoped to bring him to Eclair for an audience. But it seems you also have your own recruit! Might I know his name?" The Noble said with his usual grand gestures and language.

~Tekanolojia~

"Agh!" Teka finally emerged from the rubble of the tavern. "Those idiot rebels!" She cried. Cuts and bruises littered her pale skin. How dare they do that to her! It was so incredibly impertinent and... and... Teka huffed. It was okay. They would not live past their next encounter. That much was certain. They die, and Teka would make sure it was as painful as she could make it. "Next time I see them, they're all dead." She said to herself.

"Real shame you'll never see that day." A man's voice said from behind her. The tone was chilling and malicious. Teka whipped around, opening fire with her assault rifle. Nothing hit him. Nothing touched him. She wanted to change into a suit, but she was still so weak. "Hmmm, how lovely you look. I'm going to enjoy this." He said, licking his lips. Teka suddenly regretted everything she had ever done.

~Cyler~

It was fun. He had been right. He stood and stretched. The Serial Killer glanced to his hands. They were bloody, as usual. Oh well, he'd fix that in a bit. He walked away from the alley, hands stuffed into his pockets, smiling from the excitement and adrenaline of attaining yet another power to his arsenal.

~Neena~

Neena leaped into the air, going sky high in an attempt to dodge the wave of darkness. She gritted her teeth. "Then I won't play your game corrupted Imperial!" The zealot announced. In midair, she once more transformed, switching to the exact opposite. Light magic shot through her veins as her appearance changed. Her ghostly pale skin turned a beautiful sunkissed tan, her long dark hair turned blond and became done up in a ponytail. Her garb became a full suit of golden armor that glowed ever so slightly. She began to fall to the ground, and as she did, she readied her armored fist, which began to glow a bit more fiercely. She landed, her hand hitting the ground first, and a dome of hard light spread around her, shielding the woman from the onslaught of blows from Ariana. The dome finally broke, but Neena had used this time wisely, and was prepared to strike. She lunged forward, swinging her golden broadsword in a wide arc, shooting off her own wave of light.

~The Doctor~

Doctor Verstand shook his head and sighed. How exasperating those two had turned out to be. He called to his pets in his mind before setting out once more, though now he was careful to have his datapad securely in his pocket.

-Yevgeni-

After Vortludo guided them in the proper direction the blond raised an eyebrow and turned to Slade.  "Is your friend normally this . . . ah, dramatic?"

It seemed to certainly be his style, however, after he'd brought them to the castle gates and introduced them to Tiriel, who seemed to be of a high rank in the rebellion.  Yev, still skeptical of the Order of Lux, decided that it couldn't hurt to learn more about what the Order sought, yet he wasn't certain he would join them.  He nodded respectfully to Tiriel and extended a hand to shake hers.  "It's a pleasure, Miss Tiriel.  As Vortludo mentioned, I would like to request an audience with your leader, Eclair.  I have sought to take down the empire for years now, though any hired help of mine has always fallen through.  It is encouraging that an organization such as yours has been birthed from the hatred of the empire's oppressive ways.  I sincerely hope that I'm able to see eye-to-eye with your objectives and may perhaps put my skills and blade to your service."

Finally Yev tore his gaze away to study to palace in greater detail.  Its condition was questionable at best.  Once it probably stood as a great kingdom, though now it was in a state of disrepair with worn walls and rust forming along the gate.  Ivy climbed palace walls, making him think that this kingdom had been desolate for quite some time . . . until now.  Finally he glanced over at Tiriel's partner, a cloaked man whose name he didn't know.  As always, Yev grew wary of him, but didn't press the issue further.

-Ariana-

"Corrupted?" Ariana let out a laugh, low and cold to match her demeanor.  "My dear child, why do you think we are corrupted?  It's you magic users who are tainted with your natural abominable abilities."  It was then that Neena did a backflip and, much to Ari's astonishment, garb-changed again.  This time she was on the right track, however, shifting to her arch weakness: light magic.  She practically spat at the thought.

In the short time that Neena shifted, however, she felt a wave of cold to her right.  She glanced over and saw shards of ice, large and sharp, flying directly at her.  There was little time that she could've used to defend herself, so she did the only reasonable thing she could: take the blow with her right wing.  As large as it was, it shielded her body from the terrifyingly rigid ice, but her wing was tattered and practically useless.  There would certainly be no flying for her.  She let out a howl, both in pain and in rage, while simultaneously Neena was ready to strike.  At this point Ari was on one knee, both hands gripping her twin katanas buried into the snow.  All that she could do was send another wave of darkness to neutralize Neena's light wave before scrambling to her feet.  Her breath was ragged.

Now she had two enemies on her tail: this mage behind her, who was apparently better than she'd initially given him credit, and the elf-girl who wouldn't give up.  She also noticed Henry emerge from the wall, returning after his spat with Peashy.  Things weren't looking good for her, and at her current rate and their level of skill she wouldn't be able to defeat them all . . . .  Or, at least not alone.

She threw a glance in Chysalis's direction.  "Chrysalis!  Come!  I need you here!  Take care of the mage back there, now!"

Summing up the remains of her energy, Ariana sent a number of small dark orbs, fast like bullets, in Neena's direction.  Hoping to throw her off, Ari tapped into her tanzynite sources and leapt up into the air, backflipped, and landed behind Neena, where she quickly sliced both of her katanas in a cross.

-Jadis-

Fighting pursued on the other side of the door; both Jadis and Krea could hear it.  The youth turned to the girl, who sat on the edge of Rufus's bed trembling from head to toe, before glancing back at the window.  He knew that he wasn't useless and could aid in this battle.  He'd gone to a small private school for magic and learned how to wield it from the time he was a toddler.  While he wasn't skilled in physical combat by any means he could fend them off with his magic, and he knew that he'd do a fine job at it if others would allow him to prove himself.

Finally he'd made his decision.  He went over to Krea and flung his arms around her, trapping her in a tight embrace.  "Wait here.  I want to make sure Fiora's okay.  I promise that I'll come back."  The girl's eyes grew wide, and just as she started to return Jadis's hug the elf had already snatched his bow and quiver of arrows before making it toward the window.

"Jadis!"

"Oh, yeah"--Jadis turned, offering her a wry grin--"and by the way, don't let snakey-guy in here for anything.  I don't trust him as far as I could throw him."

And with that, the blue-haired mage disappeared without a trace, making his way as quickly as possible through the town and, hopefully, to where all the action was.

"May I help you...?" He said, folding his arms.

-Peashy-

Peashy was flying through the air until she entered within the city of Langerdon, Peashy then slowed down near a wall before a hatch opened up for her. Peashy entered the hatch in the wall following through it until it led her back inside her bedroom with 2 guards waiting for her. "Hm...Why am I here again? I wanted to play with rocky more!" screamed Peashy waving her arms in the air. The 2 guards walked up to Peashy 1 guard taking her DBZ scouter off her head while the other guard took her right wrist forcefully "Your DBZ scouter needs fixing, which we might have the newer version of it ready soon. You also have a new mission we need you to take on, but we just need to scan your body to see how your energy & mental levels are doing okay?" said the 2nd guard as he led Peashy into another room. This room had heaps of technology in any direction you looked & a big metal bed, Peashy got a little scared as she sat on the metal bed & decided to transformed back into her human form. As Peashy lay down 1 guard used a gas mask to quickly put Peashy to sleep soon some scientists started putting needles in her body which had cords attached to them. "Okay we're ready to begin our scanning & remember to scan her memories too, we might find something interesting in there" said a scientist.

-Uzume-

"AAHH!!" yelled Uzume as she was taken by surprise at the sudden appearance of a holographic version of Emperor Korben. Uzume quickly regained her cool before dropping the rest of the rocks in her hands. "So you finally heard me? well listen to this if you can. I'M HERE TO PUT AN END TO YOUR RULE & YOUR LIFE!!" yelled Uzume as she clenched both her fists tightly "You see, I have seen where you leave those poor human bodies that failed in your experiments. I haven't spoken a word to anyone about where those bodies are or the fact'd their there. But once I show the world this info & the proof you'll have a tough time dealing with alot of angry people & I don't just mean the ones that are following you either. So unless you come out here & fight me one-on-one I will reveal this info to the world through T.V's, through radio's & through photos of the dead bodies. So what's it gonna be?" said Uzume feeling confident that she's got him right where she wants him.

-Plutia-

After Plutia & Dex left the area Plutia still in her goddess form was now sitting within a dark room "Ah, finished...my, my, you look just as handsome as the real thing" said Plutia as she held up a voodoo of the Doctor. Plutia slightly rubbed it's head putting it next to her before she lay on the floor opening up her laptop "Now then, lets see what else is new" said Plutia as she begun typing. Plutia then logged into the empires computer database system with an old code that she used back in the days that still works "Hehe, I knew this would still work. Now, lets see what Emperor Korben's been up to. Hm...ah, oooooh..." said Plutia as she found some very interesting info "So you have at least 6 new members, & one of them is little Peashy, hehehe. & these SPARTAN's seem interesting, Maybe I'll make my own using these blueprints here but with my own touch, hehe. Lastly these Tanzynite stuff...I haven't seen that stuff in a long time...oh well, they can do what they please with that stuff. I'd best see if there's anything Oryx wants before I have some fun, hehe" said Plutia as she took the voodoo doll of the Doctor in her hand putting it on a shelf that has other voodoo dolls that have been either stabbed lots by needles, missing heads, missing eyes, dripping wet, mouth zipped up by string & lastly been marked with strange symbols.

- Oryx's shade- Also Dex -

Dex was now walking around the streets of the city, as Oryx sent out a shade to speak to Plutia, and Oryx usually stays very quiet when he does that, Dex never asked what he really talks with that girl, as Oryx didn't exactly let him spy on their conversation, them sharing bodies didn't mean sharing minds apparently, although Oryx invades his mind often.

In Plutia's dark room, she didn't even need to walk to the door before the Shade formed, "Hello plutia" said Oryx in a low pitched voice, that of a demon. "I came in to update you on what I want you to do..."  Oryx said as he moved to the nearby table, lightly tapping it, "Am I safe to assume you still have connections to the empire?" Oryx asked a rhetorical question, "I wish for you to work for them again, I need information about what they're doing, and i've already read your mind about their experiments and new members...but I fear they might be planning something else..." Oryx said with a small laugh, "Get all information you can, I will be watching at all times, through your vision..." Oryx let out as he simply disappeared in a bright flash of grey-ish white light.

- Mikhail Crad -

"Greetings Tiriel" Mikhail greeted her and nodded to the man she was speaking to, noticing he wasn't normal just by looking at him, probably not human, but he didn't really care enough to pry, he had to be honest, he never really liked her attitude, and her ways of dealing with things, arguments were frequent, then again he didn't get along with a lot of members of the rebellion either, specially Ryonne, constantly criticising him along with Viridem, who he had sort of a stable friendship with. He honestly didn't care, they needed his services from time to time, and he needed the money, so he would work for them regardless.

- Gabriel Stross -

Gabriel took note of Korben's note, and schedule Sahal for construction at the empire's citadel, that'd take long enough for him to finish the energy shield projectors, and give them the last finishing touches, which were making them able to block the entire Sahala's body, from anything, if strong enough to pierce it, she shield would go into cooldown, in paper it was supposed to anyway, it stopped working completely once it broke in the tests, he'd have to fix that, and then digistruct it.

Gabriel soon went to work.

- Henry Hansees -

Henry simply watched the fight ensue, and laughed at Arianna's counterattack at Neena, he couldn't help but frown as Arianna soon called Chrysalis, the ninja girl would be in serious trouble if Chrysalis entered the fight, so he'd have to intervene, and help her somehow.

Soon enough the orbs launched by Arianna soon vanished mid flight, a small wind barrier could be seen between where they were fired from and Neena, they simply vanished, Henry had controlled the wind, strong enough to block them and outright nullify them as he used his increased speed, as he wasn't in his armored form, dashing in front of her, before she could slash at Neena, Henry swung his hand forward, with an open palm he let ouf a small shockwave throwing Ariana back, as he conjured several crimsom like orbs of darkness, combined with fire, about fire orbs floating above his head, and launched them at Ariana, the orbs soon separating into small darkness fire orbs, almost like a shower of orbs, which would explode on contact, at her, she could absorb the darkness sure, but the fire would remain, and it was already augmented by the darkness.

"I know you didn't ask for help, but I couldn't help it" he commented at Neena.

-Tiriel-

"BEGONE, VILE CREATURE!" The archangel roared, wings flared. Flaming wings extended further, the archangel angry and ignoring the newcomers. "I have to time nor tolerance for demons! Go, leave this castle, this continent, before I slay you with my holy blade." Said holy blade burst into flames. "We have no need for your lies and manipulation! GO!"

-Eclaire-

"Alright, Ryonne. I'll divert the men elsewhere..." She sighed softly. "Ryonne, find everyone you think is a good leader. You and Viridem know the lay of the land better than me, in regards to troop movements. Find some leaders, give them the info and targets. We need to move within the next two days, before the Empire changes security after my misdirection and your thefts." She gestured to Victoria. "Victoria will help as best she can."

-Chrysalis-

Ari...Ari was hu...hurt? N..no...

Her body reacted. Angelic blood met Tanzynite created through Angel Blood, causing a massive shockwave. While Arianna's was just tanzynite, Chrysalis was Nephilim...and as two sets of massive wings erupted from her back, points of light appeared around her.

"Leave...leave her alone!" She screamed. "LEAVE MOMMY ALONE!" Her mind slightly snapped, and the points of light erupted into small light missiles which flew every which way, causing chaotic, widespread destruction. In a state of fear and panic, knowing Ari dead would probably lead to worse things, she just opted...to blow everything up, and hope it helped.

Missiles descended upon Henry, Rufus, parts of the town, and a few headed for Neena. All that was clear, was that Chrysalis was firing them off fast, too fast for her small body to really handle for long.

Chrysalis sobbed, covering her face as she continued her assault.

-Emperor Korben-

Korben could only, really, chuckle at Uzume's bold claims, then cleared his throat and spoke. "The bodies are from a local Pharmaceutical Company, who's license for the Empire ran out 3 Months ago, due to conviction of Human Experimentation, but have kept going. They shall be disposed of within the half-hour and all witnesses were under the influence of some kind of Hallucinogenic Drug they had lingering in their Air Filtration System that leaked." Korben calmly stated, then looked down upon the girl, looming as if she were tiny, a speck to him. "I have at least 3 cover stories ready along with the most efficient clean-up team in all of history. That even covers any needed killing or silencing of Whistleblowers. You however, will be seen as nobody that matters and is just spouting nonsense. For it is impossible to be ahead of the Emperor himself, me, at the game." He added, then rolled his shoulders a little and folded his arms. "As for you taking my life....you must be a Jester, little girl. And not a very good one...." He stated, then ran his Astral hand across her forehead and muttered a small spell of incapacitation. "You will sleep now." Korben said in a calm, almost lullaby tone.

-Slade Joseph Wilson-

Slade looked to Yevgeni and answered her question. "Dramatic could be his middle name, Yevgeni. You get used to it...besides, he gets the job done and, well, he's quite a riot to interact with." He said, then took off his Helmet again and holstered it on his belt and took out a Cigar with a lighter, put it in his mouth and lit it, puffing and sighing as he kept moving. "I hope you join us. Our resources may prove useful to you indeed." He added.

-Nolan "Arkham" Vigil-

"Am I muttering? Or just ignored?" Nolan called out, clearly his protests fell upon deaf ears.

-Azrael/Masked Man-

The Masked Man was indifferent in the face of a angry Archangel. "Forgive me, but when you truly think over it, Divine Power...on both sides, Light and Dark, are both guilty of transgressions....you Angels are not as "pure" as you try to make yourselves out to be. Man has been manipulated by your words for oh so many years...like some of our worst Demons. And you're not exactly subtle about it....those wings come to mind." He explained calmly, then put his hands down and spoke again. "And your leader...Eclaire....she is a Succubus, is she not? A form of Demonic Creature?" He inquired.

He then scoffed. "Now...I get what you want from me. Me to tell you the information I have. I simply request a bit more....etiquette and politeness on your side, if you may." He added politely.

~Vortludo~

"Tiriel!" Vortludo cried. "Calm yourself! What has this poor man done to disturb you so?" He questioned, clearly not understanding the situation at all. Wait... he was a demon? Vortludo did a double take as this sank in. Of course, only a demon would upset the angel so. They were after all, archnemeses, polar opposites, light and dark, hot sauce and sour cream. But Vortludo now worried that such bias would lead to Tiriel unfairly judging the man. The Order of Lux was a second chance for all, a gathering for anybody who fought against the dirty imperials. Even demons should not be disallowed purely because of that. "My dear, wondrous Tiriel, perhaps you should take Yevgeni in to see Eclaire, and leave this man to Slade and I? I'm sure you know where she is, but we have no idea." Vortludo attempted to reason.

~Ryonne & Viridem~

"Still have a bad feeling about all of this..." Viridem muttered, glancing to Arkham as if to agree with him, as she began to stand. Ryonne's eyes had glanced to Victoria and given her a nod before returning his gaze to his leader. "I do have one more question though. There was a man who came into the base with you guys. He was very large, and had two swords, and a black trenchcoat. He told me to call him Monster, then left. Did you meet him in Langerdon while you were stealing the Kusanagi?" Ryonne questioned, obviously very curious about the origins of the man he had met.

~The Crow's Eyes~

"Interesting..." Die muttered to himself.

"What, have I got you stumped?" Scherp joked, watching Die's cards.

"No, you're not interesting." Die said as he put down an eight. "Diamonds." Scherp threw down his cards in frustration. "What I'm finding fascinating is this plan of theirs."

"Sounds reckless to me." Kol noted as she turned her skin from blue, to orange, and then back to normal.

"No more reckless than half the shit we do." Heksen grunted, stabbing his knife deep into the table.

"I quite like the fact that it is reckless." Die mentioned. "It helps distract attention from what we're doing. Lan, do you have any plans for the Imperial Citadel?"

"Uh, I do, but they're outdated..." Lan said quietly.

"Speak up nerd, no one can hear you!" Scherp called in a sing-song voice. Lan shot the sharpshooter a glare, then cleared his throat.

"The plans are outdated. With the increasing rebel activity, they've probably updated security." Lan repeated, his voice more confident this time.

"Damn." Die swore. "Oh well. Guess we'll do it blind."

"We are all going to die one day." Kol mentioned, but it was forlorn, like she knew that the words would change nothing.

"Let's hope it's not that one then." Heksen said with a sigh.

"Hey guys," Naja's voice came in a whisper through their earpieces. She glanced down to the ground. She knew she wouldn't fall, but still. The Wraith had been up here for a long time, and she didn't like the wind. "Can I come back yet?" Die smiled.

"Yes Naja, I've heard everything I need to."

 ~Neena~

Neena had been charging into battle, a storm of blades of light materializing behind her as she ran, when Ariana's counterattack came. Neena did not want to lose her momentum, and so only slightly turned her body to dodge some of the orbs. But the attack never hit. A voice came from her side. Neena rapidly turned, quickly recognizing the tanzynited man she had originally been following. The assassin swore under her breath, she had been so distracted by her battle with Ariana that she had forgotten about him. "You dare help me!" She screamed at him, sending the light blades she had been creating right at Henry. "Perhaps 'Die scum!' didn't quite get through to you." Neena continued, switching her blade out for her crossbow. She loaded a bolt into it. "Hopefully this will." She continued, channeling light magic into the projectile. Of course, then her fight was interrupted yet again by the little girl. Neena was forced to play defensive, dodging as many of the missiles as she could, but her acrobatic ability was hampered in Light Drive. In the middle of the barrage, Neena took aim and fired her bolt at Chrysalis, the light magic turning the once small arrow into a large beam of light that shot right towards the girl. Of course, this delay allowed for two or three of the missile to hit home, knocking Neena into the snow, her armor smoldering and her face slightly burned.

-Rufus Contralto-

Too many things happened at once for Rufus to focus on.  The once friends turned to enemies, the evil woman in front of him was wounded by his vicious boreal attack, and a little girl started to scream about her female parental guardian, but when he saw the celestial wings shining forth he instinctively drew back into a defensive position, an action he thought later too craven for his heroic posture earlier.  An angel, or a halfbreed at least, to mine eyes.  But be she a foe for true? he introspected.

His thoughts were confirmed when missiles of light shot forth all around the young lass, destroying all in their wake.  They were too fast.  His defences were not quick enough to catch all of the light heading in his direction, but he dared a considerably large convex ice shield to cover not only him but Fiora behind him as well.  Five missiles managed to penetrate his cumbersome protection before the ice healed its damaged sections, striking him in the forehead, the chest, and his gut, but he pushed through the pain and the mental strain of maintaining his actions.

"Quick, pretty lady of many happy youngsters, flyest thou and live to make many more!" he heaved towards the girl behind him before falling to his knee, his legs unsound beneath him.  "I shall be bereaved should a lady of your quality be slain by wickedness such as she."

-Peashy-

"How goes the scanning number 2?" said number 1 scientist wondering about their progress with Peashy. Number 2 looked at him with a calm face "It seems her bodies perfectly fine in terms of health & we've even recovered her minor injuries. But..." said number 2 before he stopped speaking. Number 1 scientist gave a stern look at number 2 "But what number 2?" said number 1 "Well...we did find something strange within this little girls memories. First when we entered her memories we found more an any normal human can hold within their life time. The amount we found was almost like she's been around longer than her appearance suggests. Secondly while we searched we found a number of her memories blanked out by a strange purple darkness. Lastly we found an image of her talking to an unknown person right before her memories blank out. What do you make of this number 1?" said number 2 worried. "Hm...keep this under the table until we find out just who's that unknown person. In the mean time finish her new DBX scouter & wake her up" said number 1 "Yes, right away.Man, those images of Peashy's lvl 3 goddess form battling emperor Korben scare me" said number 2.

-Uzume-

After hearing Emperor Korben speak about his cover stories Uzume's confidence begun to slip as her plan to corner the emperor was totally without a plan B. Then after hearing Emperor Korben call her a jester Uzume gritted her teeth & clenched her fists tightly in anger "J-jester am I?...you, bastard!" yelled Uzume right before she was hit by Korben's sleep spell. Uzume eyes started to lower, her strength begun to slumber "You...better get ready..." said Uzume smashing a fist into the ground as she fell on one knee glowing a bright Orange color trying to enter her goddess form "CAUSE IT'S WAR!!" yelled Uzume using her remaining strength to quickly jumped off the ground throwing a punch that dispersed the Astral image of korben right before Uzume collapsed onto the ground asleep.

-Plutia-

"My, my...what an entrance" said Plutia as she turned to see the shade of Oryx form. Plutia listened carefully as Oryx's shade moved near the table soon tapping it. Plutia showed a small grin on her face "You'd best not penetrate a girls mind without her say handsome, hehe. Every girl needs her secrets" said Plutia as she put her whip sword on her shoulder letting it unravel into it's whip form "& don't worry, seeing as how I was once Korben's left hand woman I'm sure I can get some info for you. I'm also sure you'll find pleasure through my vision, hehe" said Plutia right before Oryx's shade simply disappeared. "I wonder who I'll take with me?...you 2 should do?" said Plutia as she took 2 voodoo dolls off her shelf before leaving her dark room.

- Henry Hansees -

"You're welcome!" Henry jokingly replied to Neena's angry statements as he faced the barrage of light blades head on, extending his hand forward, controlling wind in front of him to throw the blades away or deflect them, buty one got through and slashed at his arm, "Hm" as he looked at the small cut on his arm, even though it was light magic, his skin was hard enough to deflect a direct hit, although light magic made it hurt like hell. He then saw Chrysalis's attack, he frowned at her thought, "Arianna? Mommy?! Chrysalis WHAT THE FU-" he was interrupted as he was hit by all of the missiles launched at him by chrysalis. Thankfully his Dreadnaught armor kicked in just in time, covering him in its demonic appearance just in time the missiles hit, reducing a major part of the damage, nullifying the light element and explosion damage, but the impact still knocked him on his ass though.

Slowly standing up, with the Dreadnaught armor now in full charge, he looked at himself and he couldn't exactly feel much pain in this state, he locked his gaze towards Chrysalis, "Hey ungrateful elf ninja whatever girl, think you can take care of Arianna? i'l keep the girl's bombardment off you if you do." He commented as he began a slow, menacing walk towards Chrysalis.

- Mikhail Crad -

"Yeah, we'l talk to him, see if he's trustworthy, demon or not, if he's not hostile, I got no qualms against him, I know the order's right to be paranoid, but god, least hear him out." Mikhail commented with his general asshole-ish tone, making his stature perfectly clear that he was an ally, but at the same time not a member of the order, but he was necessary to them to some degree, that and...he had some unfinished business regarding a card game called 'Gwent' which many order members owed him money for losing to him.

- Gabriel Stross -

(Mind as well cleanup)

Soon after Uzume was knocked asleep by Korben, hoping the latter would teleport back to the lab for further discussion, Gabriel sent ou a few bots to pick up the woman's unconciouss body.

And soon enough Uzume was dragged away inside the Empire's HQ by two cleanup bots, led to the empire's interrogation room, where Gabriel had an interrogation chair ready for her, as her unconciouss body was strapped into it, locks activated in her legs and arms, three on each,  with electric emiters capable of knocking out a peashy at level 2 goddess form even, Gabriel menacingly stood in the other side of the room, with his armor on, hoping Korben would show up. As Gabriel wasn't exactly the best interrogator, but he was called because he'd handle anything technical during them.

-Yevgeni-

Upon Vortludo's words Yev couldn't help but scoff.  He crossed his arms and gave him a sour look.  "You and Slade speak with him?" Yev repeated.  "Forgive me for stepping in like this, but I think that's a bad idea.  We all know what happens when you interfere with things, namely after the incident with that spoony maiden that you deemed 'harmless' when she was trying to sell us out to the devil incarnate herself."

His gaze shifted from the gathering at the gate, being unable to shake the feeling of nerves that crept down his spine.  Did they all have the tendency not to agree like this?  That shook his confidence immensely, and when he further heard that Eclaire, their leader, was in fact a succubus he couldn't help but internally cringe.  Were they all under her enchantment?  Is that why so many obeyed her?  He couldn't help but grow very wary, even if Tiriel seemed like one that he could trust.  At least her judgment seemed just.  "Excuse me," he couldn't help but blurt, interrupting the discussion between Tiriel and the Masked Man as he stepped forward, his gloved hand on the hilt of his rapier.  "But did I just hear you right?  This is a demon we're considering in our ranks, and this leader is a succubus?!"

He was quite tempted to flee, making his deal with Mikhail and working solo with him.  There was also a swordsman that had been rumored to have incredibly strength and talent that he desired to recruit as well, so perhaps the three of them combined could do enough harm on their own.

-Ariana-

The shadow-infused woman was so intent on finishing off Neena and putting full weight into her strike that Henry's interference caught her by surprise.  His wave threw Ari back, though she used her tanzynite-enhanced agility to backflip and gracefully land on her feet.  The shower of orbs, however, were going to be harder to recover from.  They were coming in fast, perhaps faster than Ari could counter.  She summoned a shield out of the darkness that would reflect such orbs, but one had managed to make it to her before her shield was fully secure.  It smacked her shoulder and exploded upon impact, sending the dark sorceress back in a howl of pain.  It burnt her leather armor and managed to scorch the tender flesh around her collarbone and shoulder, also causing her to lower her reflection shield due.  The remaining orbs that Henry shot had been reflected.  They aimed straight at both Neena and Henry, and it was hard to tell who--and if--it would hit them.

This new wound would be costly.  Her tanzynite sources, as resourceful as they were, had their limits, and physically Ari was well drained by her wounds.  Fury and hate only built up within her.  She wanted to rip them to shreds, all of them, yet hardly had the energy to move.  It was then that she faintly heard Chrysalis shout the words "Mommy," and then the shower of light beams showered upon the village.  Some destroyed houses, while others targeted their assailants.  Weakly Ari rose her head, glancing at the small child in both contempt, awe, and pity.  This was the energy force she'd hoped Chrysalis would tap into, and yet . . . using this much power could've even threatened her life.

Suddenly, as if in a wave, memories of a past long gone flooded through her.  Memories of . . . joy, happiness, love.  Things that she'd traded so long ago for the taste of revenge.  She loved it, and yet . . . what had she lost?  Who was she, and what had she become, really?

"Chrysalis," she rasped, her eyes fading back to their usual violet, her demonic wings fading.  "You'd do this . . . for me?"

Just then, Neena shot her arrow of light, sending it straight for the young angel who was nothing but vulnerable.  Strangely, faster than Ari could understand what or why she was doing it, she used every ounce of her energy and strength and summoned a shadow.  It flew in front of Chrysalis, taking the blow of the light arrow and exploding in a wave of massive darkness.  A cry escaped Ari's lips upon its destruction, as if it hurt internally, before she weakly whispered, "Go," and collapsed face-first in the snow.

-Emperor Korben-

Korben deactivated his Astral Projection upon Uzume's collapse, returning his spirit in full back to him, then he followed Gabriel to the interrogation room and stood in front of the bound girl, clenching his fists and glaring at her intensely. "This girl has some nerve, boasting and shouting at my gates...she has spunk, like Peashy. Hopefully not nearly as grating to my ears and...everything else." He mused, talking to no one in particular, but it was somewhat aimed at Gabriel, then he actually turned his attention to him. "Wake her up." He ordered calmly.

-Slade Joseph Wilson-

Slade looked to Yevgeni, slightly offended and took his cigar from his mouth. "We can't all be "perfect" judges of character, Yevgeni. She did indeed seem harmless, but I was suspicious as appearances are mere shrouds...I just needed to act faster." He said, then looked to Mikhail. "I'm not sure whether to say that Yev and Tirel are suspicious of the Demon....or if there's some Fantastic Racism going on here." He snarked, puffing his cigar.

-Azrael/Masked Man-

The Masked Man was about to speak to Tirel again, but noted the others who had arrived and Yevgeni who approached and questioned them intensely, seeming quite...paranoid and worried. "You..." He said, then turned fully to face him. "Demons need not be frowned at upon first sight, young man. As for Eclaire....she was clever enough to form this near-illustrious Order using nothing but her wits and resources....Succubus Sexual/Hormonal Influence would be detectable for me and I smell none." He added, attempting to put his fears to rest.

"But you....you smell of emotion, raging within your Heart....you've experienced loss, have you not? Hence why you're here...against the Empire? If there is anyone, anybody you can trust to help you..." He then looked at the Order Base itself silently for a moment. "It's The Order of Lux." He looked at Yevgeni again. "You need not worry about recent events, for co-ordination and intelligent thought is a requirement here. And before you ask, I'm well informed." The Masked Man explained.

Fiora probably would have been killed by the sudden attack from the screaming girl if Rufus hadn't used his magic to protect them both. After Rufus urged her to leave, she shook her head. "I'm going to stay and fight. We can't let these people get away safely." After saying this, she did something she might eventually come to regret. However, she had no choice. She used her magic to heal Rufus. It wasn't much, since a more powerful healing spell would require more focus, and she had to be prepared for any more attacks directed towards her. She hoped it would be enough to help him get back on his feet, though. After healing him, she stepped forward and looked at the sobbing girl who had attacked everyone so suddenly. The woman who she had initially targeted seemed to have been knocked out after defending the girl... I've already given away my status as a mage... That means I can go all out now. She focused back on the younger enemy, and extended her hand in the girl's direction. Her fingers sparked, and a bolt of lightning shot towards Chrysalis. Even if it didn't deal too much damage, she hoped it would divert the girl's attention entirely on Fiora, preventing the town from taking any more damage.

-Eclaire-

Tiriel was about to get extremely angry, when Eclaire landed in front of the Archangel.

"Tiriel, stay your righteous anger." she said softly. "I will deal with this man."

Facing Mask Man, she crossed her arms. "Now, what is it you want, O Angerer of Divine Righteousness?"

Five Minutes Earlier

"No, Arkham...I'm not ignoring you. But if we don't do this we remain outgunned...well, moreso, outfleeted. Stealing the waterborne fleet can help. I just need your expertise in technology to succeed, my faithful friend."

And then she was gone.

-Chrysalis-

As Ari went facedown, she cried even louder. She rushed through the air to Ari and held her, wailing as even more light missiles rained everywhere around them in a paniced, extremely erratic attack. With what could only be Angelic Strength coursing through her body, the small, almost malnourished Chrysalis lifted Arianna from the ground and flew. She flew away, far away, towards her bastion of nightmares...the only place she new Ari would get the help she really needed.

- Henry -

Intercepting Fiora's lightning attack at Chrysalis with his arm, while in the dreadnaught state, just made the lightning literally bounce off it and onto the ground, he simply looked at Fiora while in his armor, looks that would make the normal man piss himself from the sheer look of the armor, "The rebellion'l be more useful with her alive, her 'mommy' too." He said to fiora, his voice echoing out of his armor, making it sound quite distorted and oppressive, as he turned to Chrysalis, as he caught the ensuing rage attack face first, his armor withstanding it but him sliding back from the power of the constant attacks, soon enough they stopped, and Chrysalis had already flown off with Arianna.

His armor soon began to come off, disappearing seconds after falling off, he decided he wouldn't need the armor, but had the stored power to activate it at any time if that elf girl tried anything, he looked back at Fiora, "Well...guess they went to the empire's headquarters...my bad..." He said shrugging and with a 'oh well' look on his face, "Who are you?" Henry asked Fiora.

- Gabriel -

Gabriel did see the similarities with Peashy and this girl, pherhaps it wasn't a coincidence? a thought for another time, as Gabriel soon nodded and pressed a button on his wrist mounted keyboard, as a small burst of electricity was sent through Uzume from the chair, which were enough to wake her up.

He leaned his back against the wall and decided to see what Korben would do.

- Mikhail -

"Oh theres the succubus Yev" Mikhail said whispering to Yev so the only them could hear, unless Eclaire had super senses of course, "Eclaire, the rather reckless leader of the order of a new dawn, a pleasure to meet you as always." Mikhail greeted her, making his critic trully stated, he never obeyed authority, he never cared.

"This guy wants to help the rebellion" Mikhail said as he pointed to Yevgeni.

Fiora was a bit confused as to why the other man had just blocked her attack. She sighed as she watched her opponents fly off. However, afterwards, the man who had blocked her attack asked her what her name was. "My name's Fiora." She responded. "You... mentioned the rebellion, right? Are you also a part of it...?" She asked. He didn't really seem like an enemy. However, before the man could respond, Fiora seemed to remember something else that was important. She quickly turned back to Rufus. "H-hey, are you okay?" She asked in a concerned tone. She knelt down, and after holding her palms over him, began to resume her healing spells. "This should help you..." She also remembered the two elves that she had traveled with... She'd have to check on them after she was finished healing this man. She hoped that they were still safe...

-Peashy-Plutia-
While Peashy slept someone entered the room she was in "um, number 1. there's some strange looking girl here" said number 2 scientist "What! this room is supposed to be only accessible to those with ID cards." said number 1 scientist. Plutia was in her human form holding her 2 voodoo dolls in her arms with a light smile before she pulled out an ID card "IIIIIII haaaaave aaa caaaard riiiiight heeeere" said Plutia in her calm almost tired manner. "What the heck?! give me that card little girl!" said number 1 as he snatched it from her, he then looked at it closely. He's eyes then widened as his nerves begun to shiver with fear "Y-your...Plutia, the Left hand of Korben who was banished, I know the name cause your in the old computer files" said number 1 before he dropped her ID card which had some old blood stains on it & her goddess form picture on it. "Yoooou waaaana seeee myyyy doooolls?" said Plutia to all the scientists in the room as she held up her voodoo dolls. "N-NOOOO!!!" yelled number 1 as a purple light could be see from outside the rooms door.

Soon Plutia walked out of the room in her goddess form showing a very glad smile "Seems I got what I wanted & more, hehe" as she continued walking down a hallway holding Peashy's DBX scouter. After Plutia left the room the was no sign of the scientists & soon Peashy begun to twitch in her sleep "Mm, mm...Mommy..." said Peashy sleep talking.

-Uzume-
As Uzume slept her mind replayed an old memory from her past. "So...your decided to help me with the mission Uzume? you don't even work here" said Plutia "Hey! There's no way I'd let my sister go into this much danger without me! I find it a bit harsh that Peashy has to be go too tho, I mean this mission is for strong soldiers right?" said Uzume. "Well if you'd remember, we aren't exactly humans anymore. But that was along time ago. right now you'd better keep your mind focused on the mission & nothing else, got it?" said Plutia. Peashy was just running around the place enjoying life as she does while Uzume talked to Plutia.

Just then Uzume was shocked out of her memory back into the moment in which she woke up in a chair holding her legs & arms. "AH! Wha!? where, Korben!!" yelled Uzume as Korben was the first thing she saw when she woke up. Uzume's arms & legs went to attack Korben on site but couldn't move "Darn you Korben. I blame you for everything that happened that day, That day my sister changed. I'LL KILL YOU KORBEN!!" yelled Uzume as she tried to forcefully escape the chair & failing. Uzume then quickly calmed herself a bit before she spoke again "Grr, Why did you chain me to a chair Korben?!" yelled Uzume feeling confused a bit.

-Rufus Contralto-

The soothing magics of a healing spell coursed through his body, relieving the tension in his mind and restoring his wounded flesh.  His exhaustion of maintaining the ice shield from the nigh infinite blows of the light missiles was still straining, but he remained steadfast and was preparing an attack of his own, well-knit fire tightened by a spell of his own design trapped between his fingers.  However, before he could unleash it, the hail of missiles ceased and the girl and Ariana were gone, the child's wailing growing distant.

Frustrated yet at the same time relieved, he quelled the spells of both hands, both floodgates reversing and pooling the magic back into him.  It was the only advanced technique he had learned over his twenty-four years of hedge wizardry, and he was quite proud of his mastery over it.

His interests quickly shifted to the remaining folks around him, Neena, Fiora, and Henry.  All seemed quite skilled in the gifts of magic, and strength flowed through each of them in a different way, one in sheer aggression and determination, another in steadfast and quiescent will, and the last he could not tell.  His beady eyes squinted towards Henry in distrust, though his familiarity with the resistance and the rebellion drew his interest.

Fiora snapped him from his pensive status, healing him again with her remedial spells.

"A thousand thanks, milady, but you need not exhaust your efforts on this humble servant's account," he said graciously, smiling up at her, rising to his feet, and giving a half-bow.  His smile quickly shifted to a concerned frown.  "Your protected nest--are they safe?  Did they remain in the doors of that restful hostel?"

~Vortludo~

Vortludo seemed honestly hurt by Yev's words. "My friend, a rebellion must be kind to the people it wishes to liberate no? Did you not give her a second though? Why, any who might look upon her after the Imperial devil appeared could easily see that she was as scared as everybody else." Vort defended himself against his comrades vicious assault. It was shortly after this that Eclaire made her own personal appearance. "Ah, beloved commander!" The Noble exclaimed. "You have not only this masked demon to evaluate, but also this angelic man, Yevgeni. Come Slade, Tiriel, Mikhail. Shall we leave Eclaire to deal with the new recruits herself?" Vortludo continued, gesturing towards the door.

~Ryonne & Viridem~

Ryonne watched Eclaire vanish in burst of petals. He shook his head. If there were anyone else capable for the job that Eclaire was doing, they'd be in charge. Unfortunately, if they wanted a rebellion, they would have to deal with Eclaire's occasional whims and risks. "Since my question went unanswered, Victoria? Do you remember a man of that description? And you don't have to come with Viridem and I if you don't want to, we can do the job of finding leaders if you have something more important to do."

"I'm leaving now!" Viridem called behind her as she left the meeting room. "Catch up when your done chatting with the girls."

~The Doctor~

The Doctor entered his lab. Ah, it was good to be back. The streets reeked of regret and tyranny. His pets whimpered at the door, but the Doctor did not respond. They knew what they were supposed to do when he was working. And that was be patient. The Doctor glanced at his datapad. First things first, he should finish up that serum for the SPARTANs. He took a sample of all the planned Tanzynite he was using. He studied each relentlessly, analyzing each pure sample with a sample from a user. He hacked each chemical apart on a molecular basis, taking away pieces that produced addiction, the glowing veins, the increased muscle mass, leaving the pieces that actually produced the beneficial effects. In this cropped down form, the Tanzynite would of course not work. If they could do that, then it would have been done long ago. He glanced at the formulas he had created, the visual model of the molecule he had produced. He gritted his teeth. This was looking to be perhaps a bit more difficult than he had intended. He pulled one last raspberry scone from his pocket and began to eat it. The Doctor had been saving it for tonight, but a problem like this required a full stomach. Doctor Verstand had originally assumed that he could simply paste each pared down Tanzynite version together to make the serum. The real procedure would be complicated and expensive, and each molecule would not be as effective as a single molecule of pure Tanzynite, but it would function. Unfortunately, it seemed that it would not work like that. He needed a bonding agent for the serum to be effective at all. Without it, he was unsure what would happen, but his testing program said the result would be dangerously unstable. The Doctor sighed.

~Neena~

Neena appeared right above Henry, popping right out of a dark portal. She sent a massive blast of dark energy right at the man. She was careful that it would home in on him, and defuse on impact should it hit the other two. Neena dared not accidentally hurt another mage. But the dark man on the other hand... He was corrupted, a dangerous threat. He let his guard down, and that was foolish. She could kill him with this attack, assuming it hit him just right, and he did not activate that armor again. She had seen how he had shrugged off Chrysalis' missiles like they were nothing while the armor was on. The same missiles that had nearly knocked her out of the fight entirely. He was an incredibly powerful Tanzyniter, and they needed to be exterminated sooner than later. And he had let the other two get away! That was so stupid! She had almost gotten them, yet he felt he had the right to intervene!

 - Henry Hansees -

Henry wasn't anticipating that attack from the ninja girl, the attack soon hit his back and covered the area of the blast in a large cloud of smoke, inside the smoke however, Henry was smilling, as he did feel the blast, but chuckled a bit, the attack itself was surprisingly powerful and quick, the only problem is that Neena had used a darkness elemental attack, which was, a large portion of his own power, so instead of taking the damage and the energy dissipating, he absorbed the energy, while still taking the blow, albeit reduced by his innate resistance of it.

Soon enough, the smoke was still there, and no sign of him could be seen, or rather felt, but soon enough he reapeared in a flash of darkness beside Neena, "Not bad!" he said quickly as he finally unsheated his sword into a combo of four strikes, all of which were aimed at her chest, all with enough force to make her at least stagger, but that wasn't all, every slash, materialized an orb of crimson fire behind her as he finished the combo with a open palm strike which let out a wind shockwave possibly throwing her back, right at the orbs, which would explode as soon as she got near them, all happened so quickly it would be hard to notice.

"Not even a thank you before attacking me?" He asked, "You know, back there, when I blocked the hit for you...jeez you're no fun..."

- Mikhail Crad -

(Nothing to do right now, so i'l skip this post)

- Gabriel Stross -

"Chat" Gabriel suit's Ai spoke out loud for both Korben and Uzume to hear, he remained with his back leaned against the wall, as he messed with his hologram and keyboard on his left arm, manually controlling some building bots to do the finishing touches upon Sahala, stopping its digital deconstruction into the database momentarily.

- Dex -

Dex was now in the market area of the city, walking about, looking for anything remotely interesting to see or do, "Uneventful day..." Oryx spoke within Dex's mind, 'Tell me about it' Dex replied with a thought, knowing Oryx would read his mind.

"What about Plutia?" Dex asked, "She's making progress...albeit she just killed an empire's scientist..." Oryx replied, "Damn." was all that Dex could say.
