What kind of unlocks/secrets do you expect will be in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Prologue? To use Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix as a guide,  where there were two movies as a guide that provided hints toward the plot in the series, namely Kingdom Hearts DDD HD and Kingdom Hearts 3, I would expect KH 2.8 to do something similar.

As for Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, the original game had quite a few unlocks, if I remember correctly. In addition to the in-game theater and glossary, there was something called "Chronicles" that contained text summaries of the plots of every Kingdom Hearts game prior to it (all 6 since Chi hadn't been released at the time) that unlocked rather early on in the game after you cleared a couple of worlds. Another unlock in DDD was once you beat the game you could find a secret message in the game's credits that hinted towards the 1.5 and 2.5 HD Remixes being in development.

I'm a bit curious at to whether the Chronicles (and in what form) and the secret message will make it into 2.8 and what other unlocks and secrets await. I might also end with a question of whether we should expect a secret ending in Birth by Sleep Episode 0.2.

The Final battle of KH3. like they did in 2 FM with BBS

I'm pretty positive we'll have to finish DDD to unlock the Birth By Sleep 0.2 episode.

No, BBS 0.2 Episode will be unlocked from the start. We won't need to beat one game to unlock another.

I believe the secret ending will be a shot of Sora's mom's cooking!

At long last, we'll finally know what she was cooking on that fated day haha

We'll learn that the real reason Sora ran away to the island was because he didn't want what his mom was cooking.

Come to think of it, wouldn't she think Sora is dead at this point? Either that or really confused because he was gone for over a year and then randomly showed up with a mutated duck and dog and left again.

It will turn out that Xehanort is only starting the Keblade War to save Sora from his Mum's cooking

The book of prophecies was the recipe book for Sora's mom's cooking all along!

Maybe we'l finally learn why Sora, Kairi, and RIku were building a raft instead of using their boats?

With the plot twist of Xehanort releasing an army of chefs from the future and the X-Blade being the ultimate cooking utensil

Man, I really don't know what to expect regarding 2.8's possible secrets and unlocks!  One thing I'd like to see is two additional cutscenes that link to Kingdom Hearts III, like 2.5 did with its Re:Coded HD cinematics!  I'm sure we're in for quite a few unexpected surprises! :D

Well since 1.5 and 2.5 are already a thing they will likely replace that passage with a hint towards something else, maybe the other parts of II.8 or III or Unchained X stuff or even something entirely new. As for Chronicles, I would expect possibly a X chronicle to be added...unless that might count as a spoiler for X Back Cover, but then again X was announced the same year Dream Drop Distance came out. But then with that logic wouldn't you also have to include the original 3D and the HD ReMi-GAAAAAAAHHHHH HEAD HURTS!!!

Well, in any case there could be room to either add new Chronicles or just leave as is. Maybe they could even use images from the actual HD versions of the games...although the images they used looked pretty touched up anyway, so I don't know how much they would be able to improve them.

I'm always hoping for a few new cutscenes that don't derail the overall plot that much in 3D (one or two like Re:Coded had) and of course new gameplay content like Keyblades from X after you watch Back Cover (like with Days...wish they did that for Re:Coded though...), new secret boss battles (like the next game teasing boss battles, not more Disney characters...no offense Julius, you were a nice obscure surprise there), and new minigames. Don't get me wrong, I like Flick Rush as much as the next KH fan, but good god there has to be more than just that for a online vs experience! I would also like more new Deck Commands, as I feel that the arsenal they had was fun but relatively lacking compared to Birth by Sleep's. Maybe like 10 additional commands for both Sora and Riku? And maybe a few new Dream Eaters, perhaps even a Chirithy recipe if you complete Back Cover? Eh? Ehhhhhhh? :D

And with the other two titles, just a bunch of new content in general, which I'm sure they'll do just fine at, considering how they're both mostly new to begin with.

One game is the past (3D), one is the present (X), and the other is the future (0.2)...I'm talking in terms of release date here, not chronology wise. This is going to feel like the most temporally transcendent collection we've had so far... O3o"""
