MGS 5 was the last game in the series. Konami have stopped developing AAA titles and Kojima has left the company. I want to see a new Prince of Persia, those games are way better than the recent AC games.

 

AC has become COD now, so you're guaranteed a title for 2016.

 

FFXV hasn't come out yet so I wouldn't bank on a sequel, the game might be trash and SE might decide to move onto FF16.

Nope. Konami will keep making AAA games on console, at least of the metal gear, castlevania, silent hills and pes series. Official statement by them. Although, yes, Kojima is probably out of the company, but there wasn't anything official about that.

the closest is pokken tournament for wii u. At least there is SOMETHING pokemon on the wiiu that isnt that awful rumble game.

Konami has announced that they are going to stop making AAA titles, MGS included, and Kojima left the company anyways. Even if Kojima wanted to do something Metal Gear related on his own, Konami likely owns the property rights to MGS, so at best Kojima would have to create a "spiritual successor" series, like how Mighty No. 9 is to Mega Man. But an officially licensed Metal Gear Solid 6? Not happening, unless Konami's president dies or is replaced, the new guy reestablishes positive relations with Kojima, and they both feel like making a new Metal Gear game together. But that's very unlikely to happen, and even if it did, the story is kind of wrapping itself up with V anyway, so really the only project I could ever see them wanting to do would be remakes of the past gen titles or a follow up to Metal Gear Rising. Because like you said, remakes are just kind of the name of the game in the entertainment industry by this point.

 

Others are questionable. Like I would like to see a FFVII Compilation HD Collection some day, but at the moment it isn't likely since Tabata doesn't want to make a Crisis Core remake or remaster, for some reason. Still, sometimes people change their minds, or other people get put in charge of some projects, and it is a pretty popular title, so who knows what would happen? What I'm surprised what you didn't list on there was a possible sequel to the FFVII Compilation, something that had been lightly teased since Dirge of Cerberus and then just kind of trailed off. I'm pretty sure fans would love to see Cloud and friends return in a NEW fully playable adventure and it would be nice to finally tie up all loose ends in the Compilation and finally end the book with a final page rather than another tease at a continuation. Maybe it wouldn't be something that would be announced next year, but I could definitely see it being suggested at years down the line, perhaps closer to or after VII Remake's release.

Can we get Zelda U before lookin for Zelda NX? Or at the very l a at get an official reveal of the NX before announcing ANY game for it? Same woth Pokemon, lets get Z betfore thinking about Gen VII.And why do we need a FFXIII trilogy remaster? It's already in HD. Hell, you might as well throw KHIV in there while your at it. Or PS5 games, or games for the next XBOX

Well I just read that, but even then would you really want a Metal Gear game that Kojima had no involvement in whatsoever? It would sound pretty pointless if you ask me. I'd almost rather see Kojima get the rights back and make future games with some other company that respects its customers and employees better. As for FFVII Comp, I suppose if another person were interested in working on it, such as Nomura or someone else, and Square wanted it done it might happen, but that's still a lot to ask with XV not even done yet, KH3 just getting started, and VII just recently announced.

I think compilation remastered has much more chance of happening than type-1. Just my opinion though. What do you think about the rest of the list, Sora96?

Not true in the slightest. They've trademarked Type-1 and Tabata continues to want to do it. What doesn't he want to do? Crisis Core HD. Additionally, they'll already have VII and ACC on PS4. Dirge of Cerberus will get a PS2 Classic. I already went through and bold above.

What about a pokemon main game on the console? 

To be honest, Pokemon's main series is best on handhelds. Console titles should just be kept to spin-offs in my opinion. I wouldn't complain about a Pokemon RPG on the Wii U, but main series games should stay where they've always been.

Edited the list with asteriscs for the games that have already been confirmed. I will be doing this for the next few games announced from the list, and by december 2016, let's see how many i have guessed right lol. My guess is GOW4 will be announced in a month at psx.

tabata never specifically said new ip in dengeki, he just said he wanted to work in something different, and that could mean a new spin-off of the final fantasy series with everything new. Also, he is part of a company so you never actually know what they'll force him to work on, and square wants the moneys. Xv-2 would sell like cupcakes...

It also rules out Type-1. Tabata's made it clear he won't direct two projects again since when he did it last it almost got Type-0 cancelled.

 

There's absolutely nothing to suggest Chrono either. What they're bringing back is Front Mission and likely Parasite Eve.
