About the Name:
For those who don't know, Freischütz means 'Freeshooter' in German and according to wikipedia it is a legend that tells of a 'marksman who, by a contract with the devil, has obtained a certain number of bullets destined to hit without fail whatever object he wishes.' - the legend speaks of 6 bullets hence the theme of 6 bullets at the hilt and at the blade's end. Also interestingly, the story has been adapted to a German musical opera.

Please note that I am not German so I apologise if I spelt the word wrong. I like to give names that are from another language because it adds a bit of 'specialness' to things.

I felt the name really fits Xigbar in that he shoots homing bullets, almost like a demonic firearm. In essence his Japanese title "魔弾の射手" means "The sniper with demonic Bullets" which further makes the name appropriate.

About the Design:
Its a fusion between Braig's original arrowguns and Xigbar's default Sharpshooter. I added extra things like the eye of darkness to accentuate his affiliation with darkness. I had to grind my brain several times to come up with ideas for the keychain charm and in the end I went with his insignia which was displayed on his tombstone at 'Garden of Assemblage' or 'Proof of Existence'.

Oh my frackin flubber nuggets, this...this looks so legitimately amazing!  It looks so frackin gorgeous, and I love how you picked up that name for his Keyblade!  The description of it definitely fits with his character!  My God, I could really visualize this as Xigbar's official Keyblade!  Great job, Catmaster!

It's just a 2D design that I based it off the arrowguns he used during his battle with Terra (the hilt and guard) and Xigbar's default arrowgun (the "teeth"). the Keychain happens to be that red scarf, and there is a meaningful reason for both the Keychain and the name "Freeshooter's Honor" (though it's based on a future fanfiction of mine where Briag finally gets one after being restored): Braig is the middle child of three; with an older brother named Kaji, and a younger sister named Jin. Their parents died when Jin was very little and as the eldest, Kaji decided to take on a job as a guard. Braig later joined the guards (albeit a lower rank than his brother); but when Kaji died in action, this causes Braig to realize that Jin is the only family he had left- (along with his older brother being friends with a Keyblade Wielder) hence his desire to obtain a Keyblade of his own by all means necessary, even becoming "half-Xehanort". The red scarf used to belong to Kaji and was one of Braig's most treasured possession. So what do you think?

And yeah with the keyblade, it seems that everyone's idea for the teeth is the hilt of his gun arows and everyone depicts the handle of the guns to be the handle of his keyblade. It would interesting if Square Enix comes up with a super different or unexpected design for Braig's Kb (If he gets one).
